Kuber walked over and picked up each Magic Crystal from the ashes left by the human-faced spider. He placed them in his palm, examining them closely.

The Magic Crystals had a perfect hexagonal shape, jet-black and opaque. They felt rock-hard yet weightless in hand. Faintly, liquid-like magic swirled slowly inside them.

"Huh, these are actually pretty?"

"Hey hey, big bro! Let me see! Let me see!"

Little A Luo beside him stretched her stubby arms high, bouncing eagerly. The Magic Crystals seemed to pull her in magically.

Annoyed by her noise, Kuber tossed one crystal to her. A Luo cradled it in her tiny hands, eyes sparkling with stars. She opened wide—*gulp!*—and swallowed it whole!

Holy crap! What kind of brat eats random stuff like this?

You can’t just munch on these things!

Kuber jumped in panic. He flipped A Luo upside down, grabbed her ankles, and shook her hard. He hoped to shake the crystal out of her stomach.

"Spit it out, A Luo! This isn’t candy!"

"Ahh~ ahh~ ahhhhhhhhh!"

But after all that shaking, the crystal didn’t come out. A Luo just got dizzy, stars spinning in her eyes.

Kuber’s heart raced. He set her down and waited. Slowly, she wobbled back to her feet.

"How’re you feeling, A Luo? Any pain?" he asked urgently.

*Burp~* "I’m not full yet… I want more…"

A Luo let out a loud burp, rubbed her belly, and pouted. Her crimson tongue flicked out to lick her lips, staring straight at him.

Kuber gaped. Was she starving crazy? Missing one roasted meat meal couldn’t do this!

"A Luo, any discomfort now?"

"Nope! I feel super energetic! That thing made me all warm and comfy!"

She spun in a circle, flashing a mischievous grin. She looked bursting with life.

Kuber marveled. He’d never heard of anyone eating Magic Crystals like snacks.

Magic Crystals were vital—from magic cannons to glow stones. But if swallowed, they’d scramble a creature’s magic flow… ending in explosion.

"Hey hey! Big bro! More! Please!"

Still hungry, A Luo clung to his calf, pleading like a begging puppy.

Kuber’s heart fluttered. She was too cute. He sighed, handing over all the crystals.

A Luo snatched them, shoving every crystal into her mouth. Her sharp teeth *crunch-crunch* shattered them like candy. Then—*gulp*—down they went.

"Full now?" Kuber grumbled, watching her blissful face.

Instantly, her happy expression melted into pitiful starvation. She hugged his pant leg, eyes wide and pleading.

"No! A Luo’s so hungry! More! Hey hey!"

"Damn it!"

Kuber rolled his eyes. This Labyrinth trip? Forget making money.
