When I woke up again, I saw an unfamiliar ceiling. Beside me sat Sunny Su, her face flushed deep red. I had no clue what she was thinking. Though I could read minds, I never bothered eavesdropping on others.

Seeing me awake, the flush vanished from Sunny Su’s cheeks instantly.

“Li Ze, you’re awake?” Sunny Su asked, concern in her voice.

“Hmm… Where am I? My head’s killing me…” I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain deep in my brain made me stop.

Sunny Su stared at my face. “Hey~ Li Ze, what got you drinking so much? The doctor said alcohol poisoning! We’re just high schoolers—drinking’s wrong!”

I shook my head with a wry smile. “It’s not about quantity. I’m naturally alcohol-sensitive… I truly can’t drink, but I never expected it this bad.”

Sunny Su pointed at me, her class monitor aura flaring back. “If you can’t drink, don’t! Why treat your body like trash?”

“I barely drank anything. Just one sip of Aurora…”

“One sip… of Aurora?” Sunny Su’s eyes widened in shock. “This isn’t sensitivity—it’s zero tolerance for alcohol!”

I sighed. “I didn’t know the consequences were this severe. That stuff tastes like soda. I didn’t realize while drinking it.”

Sunny Su pulled a medicine packet from her bag. “Here. The doctor prescribed this. It should ease your symptoms.”

“Um… Class Monitor, did you bring me here?” I glanced at her. “Thanks, Class Monitor… uh, you didn’t tell my sister, right?”

“No. When you collapsed, I rushed you straight to the hospital. Too panicked to think.”

“Good…” I paused, remembering something. “Class Monitor, what time is it?”

Sunny Su held her phone before my eyes. “See for yourself. Around 3 PM?”

She was spot-on—3:10 PM. I had to admire her internal clock.

“Class Monitor, can I ask a favor?” I sat on the bed, hands clasped, bowing deeply to her.

“Hmm… what is it?”

“Accompany me shopping right now!”

Sunny Su shot back without hesitation, “Absolutely not!”

“Why?”

She gave my head a firm tap. “What if you faint again outside?”

I grinned at her. “Exactly why I need you, Class Monitor!”

Sunny Su pondered. “Is it urgent? Something you use daily?”

I nodded eagerly. “Yes! Daily essential.”

She sighed. “Fine. I’ll risk my life to accompany you~ Who else would rescue a sick idiot like you? So tragic… I had plans this afternoon…”

“Oh… never mind then. I’ll go alone. Class Monitor, focus on your tasks. I’m already grateful you brought me here!”

Suddenly, Sunny Su grabbed my shoulders, eyes blazing. “You did that on purpose! On purpose! You planned this!”

“I knew it… How do you always know everything? Wah… you’re bullying me…”
