"Rejected! I'm putting you back in your original class," I snapped, my head pounding fiercely today and my mood thoroughly sour.

Yuxuan gazed at me with pitiful eyes. "Mmph... Brother’s a bad person!"

"Third—and most crucial! Remember this: for these three months, you must not fall for any other boys. You must always recall you were originally male!"

"Hmph~ I’d never like other boys!" Yuxuan turned away, feigning anger. "I only like... well, never mind~"

I nodded in satisfaction. "I didn’t catch your muttering, but as long as you avoid other boys, that’s fine."

"Oh, and if you’re bored, play on my computer. The password is bjmmyggdr."

At that, Yuxuan perked up instantly. "Brother, you can go now! I’ll stay home and be good!"

Watching her eagerness, I shook my head and stepped out.

The moment I opened the door, our esteemed class monitor stood beside my house, her face flushed bright red.

"L-L-L-Li... Li Ze! When did you come out?" Sunny Su stammered, frantically adjusting her clothes—only tangling them worse.

"Just now. Heading out to sell some things. Monitor, what brings you here?"

Sunny Su lifted her bag. "I’m delivering a gift to Lin Yuxuan. I ran out of time yesterday, so I baked a cake myself last night. You and your brother can share it!"

I forced an awkward smile. "My brother returned to our hometown last night. He won’t be back soon."

A hint of awkwardness flickered on Sunny Su’s face, yet she seemed oddly pleased. "Well, I already made it... so only you, Li Ze, can eat it. Not that it’s for you specifically—just no choice!"

Suddenly, Yuxuan’s voice drifted from inside. "Brother~ Is someone at the door? I heard you talking!"

"Nothing, Yuxuan—keep playing! A classmate’s dropping off a gift for your brother. Oh, and since it was your birthday yesterday too, just accept it for him."

"Okay, okay~ Leave it at the door, Brother. I’ll grab it later."

The instant Yuxuan finished, Sunny Su yanked my arm.

"Yuxuan—didn’t she leave? And why a girl’s voice?" She glared daggers, as if I’d die if I didn’t answer.

"It’s Yuxuan—the ‘rain’ and ‘daylily’ Yuxuan. My cousin. She’s staying with me a month after my brother left."

"But the names are so alike!"

Sunny Su actually believed that nonsense. Unbelievable.

"Totally! Once, calling one name made two people answer at once!"

Sunny Su leaned in, intrigued. "Really? That sounds fun!"

Abruptly, my headache surged. The world blurred before my eyes; sounds faded into silence...

As the pain ebbed, my body felt weightless, swaying... swaying... on the spot. Finally, I collapsed. Consciousness dimmed deeper with the fall.
