The God of War, Lanoras, attacked Bexia like a madman. Meanwhile, his true body was gazing obsessively at the Grail of Power as it took shape. The thing he had yearned for all this time was right before him—how could he not be excited?

Yet things didn’t seem to be as simple as he’d imagined. Lanoras suddenly knitted his brows, and the space around him instantly sank into endless darkness. A gigantic skeletal hand thrust up from beneath his feet, clutched him tightly, and then squeezed with tremendous force, crushing him!

“Hah—!” Lanoras let out a low shout and violently blasted the skeletal hand away from his body. He then quickly left his original position, just as a black blade of light appeared where he had been standing and slashed down, grazing the hem of his clothes!

“Sun God, it’s you!” Lanoras stared at the figure that had appeared before him. When he got a clear look, his brows furrowed even deeper. He’d thought it was the fleeing Underworld God who had made the move, but he never expected to see the Sun God, who should have already been dead.

“Didn’t see that coming, did you?” The Sun God revealed a sinister smile. Unlike the Sun God who had been covered in golden light before, the one standing here was now pitch-black from head to toe. His armor was covered in black, dark-gold patterns, and the blade of light in his hand was pure black as well. If he had once been a dazzling sun, then now he was a black sun!

“I crawled out of Hell to come and take revenge on you!” Without another word, the Sun God charged at Lanoras again. Every attack carried an explosive force, but whenever Lanoras’s attacks landed on him, a strange annihilating power appeared and canceled out most of their strength. For a time, Lanoras was actually suppressed by the Sun God’s fierce fighting style.

“Chains of the Underworld!”

The sound of chains clashing suddenly rang out from the darkness around them. Lanoras abruptly retreated, but the moment he landed, two black chains, like venomous snakes, wrapped around his feet. He could have shaken them off, but the Sun God’s attack was already upon him, so he could only choose to block it first.

“Clatter-clatter—!”

However, the moment Lanoras raised his hand, several more chains shot out from the surrounding darkness, latching onto his arms and weapon. One of them even wound around his neck.

Lanoras quickly struggled free and snapped the chains apart. But in that brief instant, the Sun God’s blade of light had already come crashing down on his head.

“Splurt—!” A flash of blood burst forth.

At the critical moment, Lanoras dodged the fatal blow. Even so, a massive gash had been carved from his chest to his belly, with even his internal organs faintly visible. A corrosive force clung to the wound as well, preventing it from healing.

“Sun God! Underworld God! You’ll both pay for this!” Lanoras roared furiously. He took out a bottle of blood-red potion and poured it over the wound, quickly neutralizing the corrosive force there. The wound then healed at an astonishing speed!

“Underworld God! Let’s see whether your domain can contain me!” Lanoras naturally knew that an Underworld God was still hiding in the shadows. With a thunderous roar, his body began to change rapidly.

“Troll King’s Form!”

Lanoras’s skin turned the gray of earth and stone. Compared to his previous transformation, this time he had two pairs of enormous horns growing from his head, along with a strange tail behind him that resembled a meteor hammer.

Lanoras’s body seemed to grow without end. In the blink of an eye, he reached a thousand meters, then ten thousand, and finally a height of fifty thousand meters. He slammed a fist into the surrounding darkness, and a beam of light immediately shone in from the outside world. After several more punches and kicks, the entire darkness shattered.

“Roar—!” At fifty thousand meters tall, Lanoras’s Troll King’s Form looked as if it could hold up the heavens and support the earth. His roar echoed throughout the entire Oloses Divine Domain, and countless people stared at his gigantic figure in terror.

However, Lanoras soon chose to shrink his body into a small giant several meters tall. His gigantic form simply wasn’t suited for fighting the Sun God and the Underworld God.

After the domain was broken, the already-wounded Underworld God became even weaker. As for the resurrected Sun God, he was even less capable of standing against Lanoras. Especially after Lanoras transformed into the Troll King, the Sun God was quickly suppressed.

The Sun God had been resurrected by the Underworld God through a special ability. It was a one-time resurrection. Although his power was even greater than before his death, it couldn’t last long, and he lacked staying power.

“Rumble—!”

At that moment, the fragments of the Grail of Power completely fused together, and the entire world underwent a heaven-shaking, earth-shattering change in an instant. A vast force gathered from every corner of the world and poured into the Grail of Power. A single drop of liquid appeared in the cup, which had originally been empty, and as more and more power converged within it, the liquid slowly began to increase.

The appearance of the Grail of Power immediately changed the course of the battle. The Underworld God was the first to charge toward it, determined to seize the Grail of Power.

Lanoras’s eyes burned with desire as well. He attacked the Sun God recklessly, completely disregarding the cost. Yet the Sun God only revealed a smug smile, attacking just as frenziedly. His purpose in returning to life had been revenge. As long as Lanoras couldn’t obtain the Grail of Power, he was happy. Watching Lanoras fall from the peak of hope to despair filled him with an indescribable excitement.

“Hahahaha!” The Underworld God grabbed the Grail of Power and laughed excitedly. “The Grail of Power is mine!”

“Roar—!” Lanoras let out an enraged roar. The fury of watching his own treasure fall into someone else’s hands unleashed a terrifying power within him. With one punch, he shattered half of the Sun God’s body. There was still a chance to turn things around, because the Grail of Power hadn’t accumulated enough strength yet!
