“Hahahaha!” Although half his body had been shattered, the Sun God began laughing madly. When he saw Lanoras charging toward the Grail of Power without a care for his own safety, the energy within his body started to run wild!
He was going to self-destruct!

Seeing the black liquid inside the cup, nearly overflowing, he burst into laughter. With his only remaining hand, he seized the Grail of Power and tipped back his head, drinking down the black liquid within.
“Hahahaha—!” Feeling the explosive power of the black liquid surging through his body, Lanoras laughed loudly. His ruined body rapidly recovered, restoring itself in the blink of an eye. His strength also began rising swiftly, climbing higher and higher!

Lanoras could feel that drinking this cup of liquid would be enough to break through to an even higher level. He didn't hesitate in the slightest. He raised the cup and drained it again. However, only a brief moment after he closed his eyes to enjoy the rise in his strength, his expression suddenly changed. Then he abruptly opened his eyes.
Because he sensed that he was losing control of his own body, and that another force was gradually replacing him!
“Old bastard, I knew you weren't dead! Get out here!” Lanoras roared.
As his voice fell, a figure slowly emerged from the Grail of Power clutched in his hand. In the end, it transformed into an ancient white-haired man holding a cane. This man was none other than the renowned Great Sage of the Oloses Divine Domain!
“My dear disciple, long time no see!” The Great Sage looked at Lanoras with a kindly smile. He appeared warm and benevolent, but to Lanoras, that smile was no different from a demon's grin.
The Great Sage was nothing like the good man the outside world rumored him to be!
“You old bastard, what did you do to me?” Lanoras struggled to move, but found it difficult to control his body in its current state.
“Take a guess. What do you think I want to do?” The Great Sage turned around and swept his gaze across the entire world. “I went so far as to plot all of this at the cost of my own death. What else could I possibly want to do?”
A mad glint filled the depths of the Great Sage's eyes. He sized up Lanoras's body and said with a smile, “I didn't expect you to actually make it this far!”
