The black dragon carried Bexia to the City in the Sky, a city floating above the clouds. Just as its name suggests, to ordinary people, it seems like a miracle, but Bexia is already accustomed to such wonders! In the City in the Sky, Bexia quickly found the artifact left here, which was once owned by the Skywing Tribe, a special waist pouch. It is said that as long as various magic books are stored inside, one can use the magic on them endlessly, which is indeed impressive for most people!
"Let's go!" Bexia stepped onto the black dragon, which took off from the ruins of the temple in the City in the Sky. Here, there were a group of fanatical believers of the gods, compared to the elves' discretion, they were simply stubborn, and even their beliefs were a twisted extreme form of faith.
In Bexia's view, faith should be a spiritual sustenance, not like these believers who do nothing but believe. Instead, they enslave ordinary people who do not believe in the Sun God to work and provide for them, attributing everything, whether good or bad, to faith, to the gods above. It can be said that these people are completely a group of beasts disguised in human skin.
After leaving the City in the Sky, Bexia once again dealt with the Goblin tribe in the north and took the artifact from them, which cooperated even better than the elves.
"Goblins are really lowly creatures; they bully the weak and fear the strong, wishing to kiss the toes of the powerful when they see them!" The black dragon took off from the Goblin tribe's territory, expressing the widely accepted evaluation of the Goblins in the Domain of Orsas.
"It's just a way of survival, and fearless of death is just an act of suicide!" Bexia didn't think so. Although many of the goblins' behaviors were despicable, weren't they nourishing the living?
After hearing Bexia's evaluation, the black dragon decisively stopped discussing this issue and asked, "My lord, where should we go now? Back to the Great Tree Sea?"
"Let's not rush back; shall we visit the Tower of Sages?" Bexia nodded. With two artifacts in hand now, including the one that had been placed before, he had already gathered half of them!
But there was a serious problem— he didn't know where the rest were?
"Yes, my lord!" Bexia, who was now confident, was also unafraid of going to the Tower of Sages.
The black dragon changed direction again and, after flying for several days, finally found the Tower of Sages in a desert full of yellow sand. In this wilderness, the hundreds of meters tall spire of the tower was simply too conspicuous.
"Bang!" The black dragon's flight was blocked by an invisible barrier, almost causing it to fall from the sky.
"Is this how the Tower of Sages treats its guests?" Bexia stood in mid-air, looking towards the top of the tower, where several gazes were fixed on him.
"If you have come with good intentions, then you are the most distinguished guest of the Tower of Sages!" A burly middle-aged man flew out, followed by two figures; an old man in a white robe with a white beard and a beautiful girl adorned with many colorful crystals floating around her.
"Oh! Who are you?" Bexia frowned.
"I forgot to introduce myself. I am Lanorlas, a disciple of the Grand Sage. These two behind me are the Grand Archmage of Light and the Crystal Sorceress!" said the burly middle-aged man.
"Oh! I've heard of you!" Bexia exchanged pleasantries. He wondered where he had heard those names before?
"So, why did Lord Bexia come to our Tower of Sages?" Lanorlas politely asked in a tone that seemed calm but carried an inexplicable undertone.
"Nothing much, just to know about the missing artifacts on all the slabs!" Bexia got straight to the point; he didn't like to waste time on trivial matters.
"Then, what are you after?" Lanorlas asked again. This time his tone seemed very bland, but there was a hint of something unspeakable hidden within it.
"I have no interest in the Cup of Power, I just want to change this world immediately!" As soon as Bexia finished speaking, Lanorlas' pupils visibly constricted. Seeing this, he smiled slightly and said, "As a disciple of the Grand Sage, it seems you know things that others don't!"
"Please, you all can leave!" Lanorlas turned solemnly and gestured for the two people behind him to depart before turning to Bexia. "Would you mind having a private conversation with me?"
"Sure!" Bexia nodded. To be honest, the reason he said those things was because Lanorlas was the first immortal god he had encountered in the Domain of Orsas, and he was also a disciple of the Grand Sage. Therefore, he suspected whether Lanorlas might know something about the outside world, and he didn’t expect that he indeed did.
"You two please wait outside!" Bexia looked at the black dragon and Eileen.
"Yes, my lord!" The black dragon naturally had no other choice, while Eileen was immersed in Bexia’s teaching on Divinity.
"Please, this way!" Lanorlas led Bexia up to the top of the spire and poured him a cup of fragrant red tea.
"Oh! It's been a long time since I've had such good red tea!" Bexia took a sip. Many people in his family liked to drink red tea, so he had his share as well. It had just been too long since he had seen them!
"Please enjoy it to your heart's content!" Lanorlas sat in front of Bexia and poured him another cup!
"Thank you then!" Bexia smiled and, for once, reminisced, realizing that it had been a few epochs since he had last seen them!
