Chapter 37 Proof

The underground space of the City of Greed can only be accessed by saints, and even ordinary saints find no point in going down, after all, things here are not cheap!

Moon was quite familiar with this place, having been a few times before. Although Bexia seemed a bit confused, Moon decided to just let it go.

"From here we can go down, we'll head to level three hundred underground where the exchange is, you can sell whatever you want there!" Moon led Bexia around until they found a portable teleportation array. She blushed a bit due to embarrassment but maintained a facade of calmness.

"Let's go then!" Bexia said. Teleportation arrays like this one could be used anytime and were scattered throughout the City of Greed and even the entire City of Original Sin, for quick transfers, considering the vastness of the place and the restrictions on certain powerful flying methods.

"What are you standing around for? Let's go!" Bexia grabbed Moon's hand and entered the teleportation array.

"What are you doing? Don't touch me, you servant!" Moon began acting spoiled again, like a cat being petted—she would display a comfortable expression but verbally forbid anyone from touching her, making herself more of a target for mischief.

"Stop messing around, or I'll agree to Lian's request, and she'd probably be willing to tie you up and hand you over to me, then I'll seal your powers..." Bexia firmly held Moon's small, soft body, her face close to Moon's, and said with a fierce tone.

"...," It seemed Bexia's threat had worked, or perhaps Moon was caught off guard by the sudden action.

"You..." Moon suddenly felt wronged. Why did she have to end up with such a troublemaker? Despite her efforts to save Bexia, not only did she lack gratitude, but she also wanted to bind her and hand her over to someone, especially this villain who liked to bully her, which made her feel like crying.

"Hey, don't cry! I was just kidding!" Bexia quickly changed her tune, showing no signs of stubbornness. After all, she was essentially just a little girl, not only in appearance but also in mind.

"You mind your own business!"

"Transfer! Level 300!" Moon shouted loudly and activated the teleportation array.

As light spread around them, they found themselves in another hall, surrounded by flickering teleportation arrays emitting light, with figures appearing one by one.

Bexia paid no attention to these, instead focusing on the princess in his arms, Moon. He could handle soothing the princess, and he actually quite liked her, just not in a romantic way.

"This time, I'll reluctantly forgive you, but if you dare to be disrespectful to me again, I'll bite you to death!" Moon drifted beside Bexia, keeping herself slightly higher, her chest slightly raised.

"Alright!" Upon hearing Moon's words, Bexia realized that besides biting him every time, she didn't say much else. And she'd bite him to death? The source blood was on him after all!

Even Lian had taught him a way to counter Moon using source blood, but he never had to employ it. He could handle Moon on his own!

Flying lazily with Moon, they soon saw the outline of a city ahead, where dozens of different life forms could be seen. Although they might have been hostile races before, once in the City of Greed, they had to behave, or powerful enforcers would show up and eliminate troublemakers directly.

"Did you see that spatial black hole? That's the entrance to the next five hundred levels. However, with our current strength, we won't be able to get in. But if you offer something worth over ten thousand fragments of the law, you can also get a VIP card to go down!" Moon spoke, implying that someone who could produce a hundred thousand law fragments before could definitely go down.

"Oh! What do we do next?" Bexia nodded, knowing he had the items, but wondering how to obtain the VIP card to descend?

"Just go in directly. There's a formation inside that will detect our strength. If you don't have immortal-level strength, you'll be teleported to a specific area, and then someone will appraise your value. If successful, you'll be given a VIP card!" Moon explained.

"Although that's the case, don't you have the qualifications to go in?" Bexia suddenly thought of Lian, who was an immortal-level being. Moon should also have the ability to enter.

"Of course I have the qualifications. I have the Brolo proof from the Andrews family in my hand. There's no problem entering here; I just don't like to use such things because it's a bit flashy!"

"Really?"

"What do you think? If I show the proof, wherever I go, there will be someone to greet me. I just don't like to be flattered by those people!" Moon said proudly.

"Amazing! Amazing!"

"Of course!"

"Let's go! I'll take you in! But, I must tell you, because there are two of us, you'll have to present twenty thousand law fragments!" Moon grabbed Bexia's arm and flew into the spatial black hole.

With a brief loss of sight, Bexia soon felt himself in a hazy space. A black mist gradually formed into a humanoid figure, who bowed to Bexia and Moon, saying, "Guests, please present your proof!"

"Can we show anything?" Bexia honestly didn't have many pure law fragments on him, mostly various martial arts equipment.

"Any item will do; we will assess its value!" the black figure replied.

"Alright!" Bexia reached into the subspace and poured out numerous pieces of equipment, each containing immortal power.

The value of immortal artifacts could not be measured in dimensional coins, but in law fragments, even the less powerful ones might only be worth a few hundred fragments. The rare and precious items would be worth millions or tens of millions of fragments.

The quality of the equipment Bexia poured out varied, but there were hundreds of pieces, definitely worth the required twenty thousand law fragments!

"The total value is estimated at twenty-five thousand law fragments, deemed acceptable. Here are your entry permits; keep them safe!" The black figure quickly calculated the value and handed two gold-colored cards to Bexia and Moon.

"You are free to go!" With that, the black figure vanished.

"Where to next?" Bexia picked up the immortal artifacts and handed one of the gold cards to Moon, asking her.

"If you want to sell things, let's go to the two hundredth level! There's a large acquisition point there!" Moon shouted into the void space, "Transfer!"
