The appearance and departure of the young girl did not exceed five minutes in total, leaving only a faint hint of a pleasant breeze lingering around Han Jin.
Watching the girl's retreating figure, Han Jin stood dully in the rain. While he had no recollection of ever meeting the girl, a sense of inexplicable familiarity felt incredibly real.
Regaining his senses, Han Jin rationalized that since they both attended the same school, he would have other chances to meet her again. Then, he would definitely ask for her name.
Despite standing in the rain for quite a while, not a single droplet remained on Han Jin. Delayed by the revenge of the plane's head passenger previously, Han Jin wasted much time and couldn't help but smirk bitterly at the thought of the stern-looking class advisor.
Being late on the second day of school made even Han Jin feel somewhat guilty, even though he was here merely for fun.
Fortunately, the homeroom teacher Jiang Yan overslept again, so when he arrived, class had not yet started.
Only a few people were in the classroom. As Han Jin entered, they all stared at him with strange looks, causing him to feel puzzled.
However, upon reaching his seat, everything made a little more sense. His desk and chair were completely destroyed, with an enigmatic note left for him.
Without a glance, Han Jin crumpled the note and threw it into the bin. Making no sense to him, he casually guessed who might be behind it.
Had it been in the past, Han Jin would have lost his temper. But he held it in. It was just a pair of desk and chair after all. He would let it slide this time.
Since the chubby guy couldn't come today, he decided to simply make use of his desk and chair.
It seemed that Jiang Yan was faced with some problem today. A slow-flying parrot with sunglasses on announced: "Teacher Jiang Yan cannot make it today due to something that came up. He has asked me to inform you all to have self-study for the day."
After saying so, the parrot flew away from the classroom. Self-study. Han Jin didn’t see the need to stay when even the teacher was not present, especially when he couldn’t understand a thing about this new type of language. He decided to wait for Bai Yuan's people to arrive.
With nothing else to do, Han Jin chose to head back to his dorm to rest for a bit. After staying in Black Gold Fortress for five years, it was customary for Han Jin to take a nap at this hour. Although he was in a different place, the sense of fatigue was still there.
All in all, he felt as though he had wasted the entire day. But at least he met the young girl, so any discomfort seemed insignificant.
There were no other students in sight on Han Jin's dormitory floor. He was unsure if they were in class or just stayed in their dormitories. With pretty much the entire building to himself, the only thing that bothered him was the luxurious building next door that seemed like a high-class hotel. Why was there such a big difference in accommodation for fellow students?
However, upon returning to his room, Han Jin became furious.
His dormitory door was completely wrecked, forcibly destroyed by someone. The walls, bedside, and bathroom were covered in various colors of sticky paint, the wardrobe was burnt to ashes, and everything in the room was in a complete mess.
Written with red paint on the wall next to his wooden bed were the words: "Kid, this is what you get for crossing us!" Although Han Jin couldn’t understand.
Han Jin laughed, suddenly feeling that maybe his lenient attitude invited such audacity from those people, as though he was spineless.
"It looks like I need to give them a good smack in the face." Han Jin's face darkened. However much he tried to cleanse his heart over the past five years, he couldn’t completely get rid of his violent and frenzied nature, though it was certainly much less intense compared to before.
"Reverse..." With a surge of power, an unusual realm covered the entire room. Everything that was destroyed restored quickly. In less than a minute, everything returned to its previous state.
The only thing that hadn’t calmed down was Han Jin’s agitation. He slowly walked to the balcony, leaped, and ascended to the top of the luxurious building next door. From there, he could look down at the entire Hero Academy.
The grade e, d, c, and b classrooms are each located in a different direction, with the three c-grade classrooms situated at the northernmost end of Hero Academy, at least ten kilometers away.
One of Han Jin's pupils was no longer an ordinary black, but a devouring abyss. This wasn't a formal fight, so there was no need to pull out all the stops.
Han Jin drew out the red brick he had picked up during his entrance examination and aimed it at the location of Class C2, "You've ripped my seat, I’ll wreck your classroom."
The red brick in his hand was thrown, streaking like a meteor towards the location of the C2 classroom.
Unlike Grade E, Class C received significantly better treatment. It was called a classroom, but in fact, each student had their own private study room and bed. The professor's lecturing is done through holographic projections.
Moreover, the buildings of Class C were constructed from the latest super-capable metal developed worldwide, possessing powerful resistance against strikes.
Yet under Han Jin's attack, this all proved to be incredibly frail. The red brick easily breached the ceiling of the C2 classroom as if it were cutting through tofu, and explosively shattered within.
A mushroom cloud rose from the ruins of the C2 classroom. Han Jin had been lenient, or the students inside would have been wiped out by the explosion.
A pity though, he loved that brick. It was a handy weapon which was now destroyed along with the C2 classroom.
Although Han Jin acted wildly, he didn't deliberately disclose his identity. He didn't wish to gain too much attention. A casual punishment would do.
A wave of drowsiness hit. Han Jin returned to his room and continued his nap, sleeping until the next morning.
He was roused by the noise outside. The ground floor of the neighboring upscale building was filled with people, presumably due to news about the explosion that happened at C2.
Initially, Han Jin thought there was no way anyone could trace it back to him. Yet, he noticed many people moving towards his dormitory in the E grade area. It seemed like their access rights weren't sufficient to enter the neighboring building.
"Knock, knock, knock," someone knocked at his door. Han Jin yawned lazily and trudged to open the door, only to find a short-haired freckled girl, half a head shorter than him, "Hello, I'm a student from Hero Academy's Journalism Department. Can I take a little of your time?"
She was polite, holding a light pen and a booklet. Her big watery eyes stared at Han Jin.
The journalism department? Did Hero Academy also have gossip? Nevertheless, he didn't refuse the girl, "That's fine. What's the matter?"
The girl gave a faint smile, gestured towards the top floor across from them, "Yesterday afternoon at around 1:30, the C grade second class was suddenly attacked by an unknown person and exploded. Thankfully there were no casualties."
"According to the prophecy of the S grade professor, the perpetrator was in there. Unfortunately, the prophecy couldn’t provide the exact details of that person. Were you at the scene of the crime?" She flipped through her booklet, a hopeful look in her eyes as she looked at Han Jin.
Of course, he was at the scene, but he couldn’t just admit it, "Sorry, I wasn't there."
Before she could say anything more, Han Jin firmly shut his door.
