“Silly Girl, what do you think Sister Bao'er went into the bathroom for?”
“To wash her hands, right? She was holding your foot just now, so of course she needs to wash them.”
“Then you guessed wrong. Sister Bao'er didn’t go in there to wash her hands. She might be doing something special in the bathroom. Didn’t you notice she took in the bandage I used?”
“Mo Qing, how could you do something like that…?”
“What did I do? I didn’t force her. I’m just letting her do what she likes.”
“…”
Silly Girl had gained a new understanding of just how perverted Mo Qing was. She had no idea what went on in that girl’s head. And judging by her expression, she seemed pretty happy about it.
Tang Bao'er came out of the bathroom. She’d put the bandage away, and her expression had returned to normal. She hadn’t washed her hands, though—she liked having Mo Qing’s scent all over her.
“Qing'er, come downstairs with me,” Tang Bao'er said to Mo Qing.
Mo Qing smiled sweetly, then obediently followed Tang Bao'er downstairs to the kitchen.
The kitchen was spacious, clean, and tidy, but the ingredients in the fridge were limited: plenty of beef and spinach, along with milk and eggs.
Tang Bao'er wasn’t particular about food. When she cooked for herself, it was only to fill her stomach and get the nutrition she needed.
“We’re a little short on ingredients. Want me to go out and buy some?” Tang Bao'er asked.
“No, no, that’s fine! I like beef and spinach too, Sister Bao'er. Don’t worry—I’ll make something delicious.” Mo Qing shook her head with a smile. She seemed quite confident in her cooking.
“Then I’ll help too.” Tang Bao'er nodded and got to work helping Mo Qing.
“Oh, right. Put this on, Mo Qing.” Tang Bao'er handed her a pink apron. She didn’t wear it when she cooked at home; she’d bought it ages ago and never used it.
“Thanks, Sister Bao'er~” Mo Qing put on the apron, then reached behind her as if to tie it, but couldn’t quite manage. Her movements were a little clumsy.
Tang Bao'er had no idea it was a little ploy by a scheming girl. Eagerly, she stepped forward, a faint blush on her pretty face, and tied a lovely bow behind Mo Qing.
The corner of Mo Qing’s mouth curled up. She began cooking, gripping a knife and slicing the beef into even pieces at lightning speed. Then she stir-fried it with the washed spinach, and soon the kitchen was filled with the aroma of food.
That wasn’t all. Mo Qing also made beef soup and planned to fry two sunny-side-up eggs.
Tang Bao'er watched Mo Qing bustling around the kitchen in her pink apron, transfixed. She’d never imagined anyone would carefully prepare dinner for her, working away just for her sake.
She had a great deal of wealth, yet she wasn’t happy at all. She had no goals, either, as if she were only living for the sake of being alive. But today, with this girl standing before her, it felt as if her world had changed. It had gone from black and white to full of color.
She wanted to have Mo Qing all to herself. To keep her all to herself.
Tang Bao'er watched Mo Qing, her gaze burning with desire. Mo Qing, busy in the kitchen, seemed not to notice at all.
“Sister Bao'er, could you get me a plate? The eggs are ready~” Mo Qing called without turning around.
“Oh… sure.” Tang Bao'er quickly hid her expression, then went to get Mo Qing a plate.
Before long, Mo Qing had prepared a whole table of food. She was truly an excellent cook, every bit as good as a professional chef. The whole room was filled with the aroma of the meal. The dishes were simple, but they looked incredibly appetizing.
“Dinner’s ready! Sister Bao'er, go wash your hands.” Mo Qing seemed to say it on purpose.
“But I already washed them…” Tang Bao'er’s expression turned a little uneasy. She was actually lying—she hadn’t washed her hands at all.
“Oh, right. I forgot.” Mo Qing lightly tapped her forehead, then served Tang Bao'er a bowl of rice.
Just then, Mo Qing’s phone rang. She took it out unhurriedly, while Tang Bao'er sneaked a look at the screen.
The caller ID read “Xue'er”—a very affectionate nickname.
Tang Bao'er couldn’t help frowning. She was a little annoyed that someone had interrupted dinner with Mo Qing.
