"Team Leader, sorry we're a bit late."
At the private room door, Leng Shuang and the other three saw the Team Leader step out to greet them, speaking with a hint of apology.
On the way over, they’d dealt with some unwanted advances, and Yu Mo had insisted on joining too—saying he also wanted to apply. So they’d waited for him, costing a little extra time.
"No worries. What matters is you're here."
The Team Leader stood before them, a gentle smile on her face. Spotting Yu Mo beside Leng Shuang, she raised an eyebrow. "And who's this?"
"Team Leader, this is our good friend Yu Mo. He also wants to join, so we took the liberty of bringing him to discuss it with you."
Leng Shuang introduced Yu Mo beside him with a slight smile.
"Welcome! So you're Yu Mo? I've seen you before—you're quite cute."
The Team Leader chuckled warmly.
*She’d been worried there weren’t enough people to entertain the young ladies. Now, another fresh face—and a good-looking one at that.*
"Thank you," Yu Mo said sweetly, looking utterly harmless and adorably innocent.
"Since you want to join too, consider yourself hired! Today’s gathering is perfectly timed to welcome you—hahaha!"
She laughed heartily. "Come on in. Everyone’s been waiting."
Led by the Team Leader, the group entered. Qian and Hua even walked ahead, acting like they knew the place well.
"This time, I’m eating until I’m stuffed!"
"Eat that many snacks, you’ll get chubby~"
"Hmph! A little chubbiness is cute—it makes you look cuddly."
Laughter filled the hallway as they stepped inside.
They opened the door—but instead of others, only sofas and soft beds greeted them. This didn’t feel like a meal…
"Huh? Team Leader… did we come to the wrong room?" Qian asked, stunned.
Leng Shuang’s brows furrowed slightly, a strange thought dawning. He turned—only to find the doorway blocked by a group of "strangers."
"It’s you?!"
The "strangers" filed in, forcing Leng Shuang’s group backward.
His gaze locked onto the bleached-blonde woman leading them.
*This was the very person who’d "introduced" them to work their first time in Modu.*
"Hahaha, little beauty~ Last time I missed out. This time? I’m definitely getting a taste."
Shinji Ueno’s eyes roamed shamelessly over Leng Shuang, as if stripping him bare with her stare—burning, predatory.
*My gut was right. She’s vile.*
*Thud!*
He bumped into the sofa while retreating.
"You know this is Modu! Do this here, and prison is guaranteed!" Leng Shuang said, scanning the room, hoping reason might reach them.
*But how?*
At eighteen, he’d only heard of society’s darkness—not lived it. He didn’t know how skilled these lawless thugs were.
To dare crime in Modu—the so-called zero-crime city—meant leaving no trace.
*An undiscovered crime isn’t a crime.*
*Why zero crime? Because crimes vanish before society sees them.*
"Hahaha!"
Shinji Ueno and her crew burst into wild laughter, arrogant as if ruling the room.
"Eighteen… so naive~" She feigned pity. "Bet you’ve been sheltered your whole life. What a shame—your first villain appears where you felt safest."
"L-Leng Shuang… what do we do?!" Qian and Hua huddled behind him, trembling.
"What to do? Obey us. Please us, and we’ll go easy~"
A lackey wiped drool from her lips. *If the boss hadn’t held her back, she’d have pounced like a starving wolf on these little lambs.*
"Go guard the door with a few sisters. You’ll be paid after," Shinji Ueno said, unbuttoning her shirt.
"Thank you, Miss!"
The Team Leader shot Leng Shuang’s group a smirk—no trace of earlier kindness. Only the cold look of merchandise.
She left.
Only four newly adult men remained inside, facing six tall, bleached-blonde women.
Like four white rabbits cornered by six bloodshot-eyed beasts. The air thickened.
"Well? Come to me willingly… or shall I make you?" Shinji Ueno loosened her tie, voice dripping with raw desire.
Leng Shuang stared in disgust. *She’s filth.* But he knew—he was powerless here. A lamb awaiting slaughter.
"Everyone’s mine. Signals jammed. Calling help? Useless. And…"
Thick, pungent smoke seeped from the corner. Panic flared in their chests.
Shinji Ueno lost patience. She didn’t want obedience. She craved curses, hateful glares—then choked sobs, tears streaming under her control. *That* was her thrill.
She lunged like a tiger.
Leng Shuang dodged—but her strength overwhelmed him. She yanked his wrist, slamming him onto the sofa.
The smoke haze clouded his mind. Heat flushed his skin. A faint blush bloomed on his cheeks.
He glanced down—his body had betrayed him, arousal rising unmistakably.
"Wow~" Shinji Ueno’s eyes lit up, breath quickening. "What a treasure."
*Who’d imagine this icy, saintly man hid such intensity? How would his immortal grace shatter in passion?*
A wicked gleam sparked in her eyes.
"Let me film this. See how this pure-looking man unravels into wanton surrender!"
Her vile words chipped at his resolve. Vision blurred. Rosy lips parted. Soft, drunken pants escaped.
His cold elegance twisted into soul-captivating allure.
*Yi Yu Syndrome.* Once triggered, a mesmerizing blush spread across his skin—like an aphrodisiac to onlookers.
The lackeys gasped. *Too good for us… Boss first.* Professional restraint held them back—but desire burned hot.
Pure saint turned seductive fox spirit: body trembling with unwilling longing, eyes hazy and dripping allure, fingers clawing the sofa fabric.
*Who could resist?*
They redirected hunger toward Yu Mo and the others, pouncing like wolves.
Shinji Ueno moved closer to Leng Shuang, phone raised, framing the shot—
*Bang!*
A commotion erupted outside.
"The hell?! Still want this job?!" Shinji Ueno snarled, half-undressed.
Leng Shuang writhed in agony, body betraying his will.
*Please… anyone… just not her…*
He felt her presence—repulsive, yet his resistance crumbled.
*Not what I want…*
Desperation surged. *Save me. Anyone.*
*Lin Mo. Hinokawa Yuriko. Even… Kazue Iinoue—the one I’ve been avoiding…*
The door swung open.
A tall, perfectly proportioned figure stood silhouetted. Hood up. Black mask on. Face hidden.
Through his haze, Leng Shuang saw her eyes—cold, indifferent.
Phoenix eyes. Captivating. Familiar.
*Just like the one I looked up to that day…*
