"Lin Mo, I’m signing off—I’m heading to a party with my roommates. Bye."

Since that day, Leng Shuang had been slightly absent-minded, occasionally recalling what happened in that private room.

That arrogant woman—a figure shining high like the sun—had done something utterly beneath her status: she violated him.

Each time the memory surfaced, his emotions tangled: anger, fear, tension, a hint of shyness…

Yet whenever he tried to hate her, he simply couldn’t.

He hadn’t told Lin Mo. He didn’t know how to start, afraid it would plant doubt between them.

His heart was simple now: protect the love that bloomed in high school, all the way to the altar.

Sadly, the path felt anything but smooth.

"Leng Shuang, have fun—but stay careful. Don’t drink too much."

"Mm, just making an appearance."

He ended the call, patted his cheeks to shake off the haze.

After the incident, his focus frayed. Forgetful at work, complaints piled up. He finally resigned to rest.

During recovery, Xiao Qian and Xiao Hua urged him to join their company, praising its warmth. Intrigued, he gave it a try.

True to their words: kind colleagues, handsome guys, gentle young men, cool older sisters—all radiating openness.

Days passed. Leng Shuang eased into the harmony.

His mood lifted. For the first time in the Magic City facing strangers, a genuine smile touched his lips.

After several tasks, generous pay plumped his wallet. Spirits soared.

Over half a month of easy camaraderie, he nearly called this place home—a bittersweet *wish-we’d-met-sooner* warmth.

"Leng Shuang, let’s go! The team leader messaged us."

Xiao Qian and Xiao Hua had freshened up. Naturally good-looking, the light styling made them glow.

"Mm, okay."

Leng Shuang checked the mirror. Today felt clear. A faint smile surfaced.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk—so jealous! You don’t even need makeup to draw all those older sisters. Unfair."

"How can we compare? If we weren’t all kids from the commoners’ district, I’d think you were engineered… No, tech couldn’t craft someone this vivid."

They watched him casually smooth his hair—teasing, envious.

"You’re both handsome too. I see older sisters chatting with you often."

He changed into crisp, clean clothes, ready to go.

"Yeah, but the second you’re free? They swarm *you*." Xiao Hua smirked.

"Come on, let’s move—don’t keep the team leader waiting."

Xiao Qian ruffled Xiao Hua’s hair. Laughing, the three stepped out together.

Unseen behind them, an ordinary sedan trailed silently…

---

"Why aren’t they here yet?"

In a private room beside the party venue, Ueno Shinji—blonde hair sharp against the sofa—slightly furrowed her brows.

"We’ve messaged them. They’re likely en route. Please wait a moment, Miss."

A stylish middle-aged woman bowed respectfully before her.

Had Leng Shuang’s group been there, they’d recognize her instantly: their caring team leader.

Now, she stood obedient as a lapdog before Ueno Shinji.

*She served her.*

"Mm."

Ueno Shinji swallowed wine handed by Cat Lackey, suppressing the heat within.

Alcohol flared it hotter.

"Boss, hold on—fresh meat’s coming soon," Cat Lackey murmured, seeing her tension peak.

"Do you know how long I’ve waited? Since he took the bait, I haven’t touched a man all week." Ueno Shinji clenched her fists, trembling on the edge.

Her fire raged—tamed men, imprisoned men, none quenched it. Born for this hunger.

Yet as heir to Letian Company, she’d never stoop to films.

Lust now ruled her mind. A beast hunting men.

And Leng Shuang? Her perfect prey.

"Hehe, Boss… grab a couple extras first? Afraid the boy won’t survive *you*." Cat Lackey chuckled.

"*Survive me?*" Ueno Shinji shoved her head. "You fear I’ll break him before your turn."

"Hahaha—nailed it!"

The Cat Lackeys burst into laughter.

They’d craved Leng Shuang too. Boss first, then five sharing two.

Six women. Three men. Wolves outnumbering meat.

*Will they even last?*

And the finest target? He’d bear the worst.

"Call now. Send unbroken men. We tame them all here today."

"Got it!"

Cat Lackey dialed. "Lao Xing—send unbroken men in an hour. Boss says: tame them tonight."

"Uh… right, on it."

Lao Xing’s hesitant reply went unnoticed—Cat Lackey, too gleeful, assumed distraction.

"Don’t get *too* distracted," she teased, hanging up.

"They’re here, Miss!"

The team leader’s voice spiked with excitement.

Ueno Shinji shuddered. Her eyes burned crimson.

"Quick—bring them in!"
