Although An Han woke up earliest in the dorm today, he was the last to leave.
After watching all his roommates head out, he hurriedly opened the wardrobe to check if anyone had touched his women’s clothing.
“Way too unsafe,” he muttered.
He pulled the entire set—dress, wig, and tiny leather shoes—from the very bottom and anxiously scanned the room for a new hiding spot.
His nerves felt just like when he was a kid who’d secretly bought a game console behind his parents’ backs: no matter how cleverly hidden, he lived in daily dread of being caught red-handed.
After pondering awhile, he stashed everything inside the inner side of his desk. *Unless someone drops something back there*, he thought, *it should stay hidden*.
By the time he reached the stairs, less than ten minutes remained before class.
Walking to the classroom took nearly twenty minutes—but running might work. Just as he stepped outside, he spotted Su Peng swinging onto his bike to leave.
An Han darted over and plopped sideways onto the rear seat.
The sudden weight sent the bike swaying wildly. Su Peng slammed his feet down to steady it, glanced back with a sigh, and said, “Next time, *warn* me before jumping on?”
“What if you’d just pedaled off?” An Han grinned, gripping the seat with one hand while pressing his textbook to his lap with the other. “Hurry! We’re late!”
“Then wake up earlier,” Su Peng grumbled, pedaling toward the teaching building.
Sitting sideways behind him, An Han watched students rush past and asked cheerfully, “You didn’t go blabbing about my thing, right?”
“Yep.”
“You asking for a beating?” An Han smacked Su Peng’s waist—the easiest target from the backseat.
“We’ve known each other for years. Don’t you *know* I wouldn’t spill?” Su Peng’s voice dripped mock heartbreak. “You don’t trust me~?”
“I *do*! Or would I have let you walk yesterday?”
Even skipping the system quest’s “seduce” option, he should’ve at least threatened or bribed him. Just a promise felt like losing millions.
Swinging his legs gently, An Han coaxed, “Apprentice… ever consider trying women’s clothing?”
“No.”
“C’mon! Handsome guys *always* pull it off!”
Su Peng’s reply was ice-cold: “Get lost.”
*What a shame.*
Ever since being tricked into wearing women’s clothing himself, An Han itched to rope someone else in—fairness demanded it. But Wu Dongming and Su Peng both shut him down, hard.
Suddenly, the bike jolted over cobblestones. An Han yelped and wrapped both arms tightly around Su Peng’s waist. “This stretch *always* murders my ass,” he complained, clinging tighter.
Su Peng stayed silent, only noting how unusually soft An Han felt today.
Once past the rough patch, the teaching building loomed ahead.
“Off you go,” Su Peng braked and turned. For a heartbeat, An Han’s quiet, sideways pose looked… serene and endearing.
“What’s the rush?” An Han hopped off, rubbing his sore butt with a grumble. “Damn, this *kills*.”
—and just like that, the serenity vanished.
*Why must such a decent person have a mouth?*
As Su Peng locked the bike, An Han trotted back over. “Apprentice! Notice I’ve gotten sharper lately?”
Looking up, Su Peng found An Han’s smug grin oddly cute.
“No.”
“Then you’re blind,” An Han huffed.
*Once my physique stats max out*, he mused, *I’ll strut shirtless daily. Pair that with charm stats? A walking girl-catching device—if the stats don’t glitch.*
Su Peng ignored the nonsense, grabbed his textbook, and headed inside.
An Han hurried after, books clutched tight. “Don’t you see I’m more built now? Used to be skinny as a monkey!”
“Sure, sure.”
“You’re so damn half-assed! No Dota with you ever again.”
“Uninstalled it ages ago.”
“Why?! Wasn’t fun?”
Su Peng shook his head. “Watching matches is fun. Playing’s too tiring.”
“Old man,” An Han muttered. “You still call me Shifu—I *taught* you. If we were closer, I’d make you say ‘Dad’… but we’re not dormmates. Just good friends.”
They slipped into class just as roll call began. An Han slid beside Wu Dongming.
“Dongming—did you send Long Ge my WeChat?”
“Check your phone.”
An Han dug out his phone, opened the buried WeChat app, and spotted the friend request.
“But chatting online might not convince him,” Wu Dongming advised. “Even if you skip meeting Long Ge in women’s clothing, learn to mimic a female voice. Prove you’re a girl.”
“How’d you turn this tiny thing so complicated…?”
“Blame Chen Junjie.”
Wu Dongming started it, but Chen Junjie’s suspicion kicked off the mess. Stranger still, Long Xing genuinely doubted him now. An Han had no clue why—but pressure mounted.
And… the quest to meet Long Xing in women’s clothing still hadn’t failed.
“An Han!”
“Here!”
After answering, he slipped on wireless earbuds and searched for voice feminization tutorials.
*Hmm, not too hard.*
He watched ten minutes, almost tried—but glancing at the packed classroom, he stayed quiet.
He scanned the room: *Did the charm and affinity boosts attract any girls?*
None.
*Too little charm? Or do I need to make a move?*
He was a third-year now. For two years, dating never crossed his mind. But urgency crept in.
Otherwise, his family would start arranging blind dates after graduation.
