“H-H-Hanhan Class Rep… I… I was wrong… I… I… I didn’t mean to look! You… you… please, let me explain—this… this… I didn’t see a thing!”

A wave of terror crashed over me, nearly making me faint. I finally understood—I’d been wrong about everything. Class Rep Hanhan hadn’t changed back after the blood curse vanished. This was her true self all along: years of suppressed emotion, deep loneliness, a longing for connection, understanding, love. The blood curse was just a switch—it unlocked her heart, and that door would never close again.

“It’s fine. Seeing is seeing. I never meant to hide it.” Class Rep Hanhan turned slowly, locked the door with a soft click, sealing the room’s only exit. No one could enter. I couldn’t escape. No interruptions. “But before we proceed… what’s your relationship with that bitch? Is she a demon?”

*“Good! That woman dared insult our fox clan kin? Can you stand it, girl? Go on—teach her a lesson!”*

The Fox Demon’s voice surged eagerly in my mind, like a ringside spectator or an armchair warrior behind a screen, shouting for me to challenge someone I could never beat.

“W-We’re just friends! No—wait! She’s a distant cousin of the Fox Demon inside me… just… dropping by.”

I shoved the Fox Demon’s words aside, trembling as I stepped back—again, again—until my hips bumped the desk.

*“Coward! How has this queen taught you? Where’s yesterday’s fiery spirit? Can’t handle a human? Don’t show your face in fox demon circles again! Finish her!”*

She saw this as the perfect trial. She wouldn’t take over my body—she wanted *me* to handle it.

But… the moment I saw Class Rep Hanhan, my knees went weak. No courage left.

“Just as I thought. She *was* strange.” Class Rep Hanhan stepped closer, her hand resting gently on my shoulder, stroking downward—across my chest, past my abdomen… tracing slow circles on my stomach. “Next time, I’ll use Grandpa’s knife. Otherwise, it won’t kill the demon.”

“Class Rep… please… murder’s illegal.”

“Oh? So you *are* worried about me?” A smile bloomed on her lips. A sweet, intoxicating scent drifted from her, pulling me back to the rooftop—to our kisses. A faint blush warmed my cheeks. At the same time, an intense itch flared at the base of my tailbone… something was pushing its way out.

*Damn it. My fox tail’s about to give me away!*

“Mm. I *am* worried about you.” I nodded firmly. *Don’t defy her now. Just go along. Keep her happy. Worst case? Let her cut me. It’s not real anyway… hell, there’s enough here for a whole stir-fry.*

“No. You’re not worried about *me*—you’re worried about that Fox Demon.”

“No! No! I *am* worried about *you*! I never cared about that demon! We just… have an agreement. She’s protecting me—”

“Liar.” Her gaze turned icy. I snapped my mouth shut, frozen silent.

Prey before predator. Utterly dominated.

*“This queen can’t watch anymore! Useless wretch! Watch how this queen handles this human! Taiyin, activate—”*

“Wait!” I scrambled to suppress the demonic energy surging inside me. My will clashed with hers—a violent collision within my core. My human form shattered.

Poof—

White smoke billowed. My body shrank rapidly; snow-white fur sprouted across my skin. Limbs curled into paws. A tail burst free from my pants. When the smoke cleared… I was a small, fluffy, trembling fox.

*“…”*

“…”

“…”

I lay on the floor, ears drooping, gazing up at Class Rep Hanhan with helpless, pleading eyes.

*“You damn fool! Even this queen’s energy is gone! Stay like this until you recover—completely at her mercy!”*

Silence. She’d vanished—too embarrassed to watch, probably sulking in a corner.

*What about me?! Play dead? Like hell! She’s staring! Say something? But can foxes talk? Try a cry? Wait… what *does* a fox sound like?!*

“How… utterly adorable~”

Class Rep Hanhan bent down, lifted me by the scruff.

“Woof woof—no! Meow~? No! Uh… eep eep eep…”

Panic seized me. Words tumbled out nonsense. Could I even speak? I kicked my four paws wildly, begging to be set down.
