"Ugh, I'm exhausted to death."

The moment Feng Yijiu got home, she threw herself onto the couch.

She really had no idea why Zhou Wenyao and Qingqing were that insane. She'd only gone through half the trip, and her legs already felt like they weren't hers anymore. But judging from the way they looked, if time hadn't been an issue, they probably could've gone for another whole round.

As she rubbed her calves, Feng Yijiu came to a firm conclusion. She really wasn't cut out to be a girl. So much for "material determines consciousness." Fake. All fake.

Cen Man was already home by then. It was after work hours, after all. But when Feng Yijiu saw the note pinned under some items on the dining table, her face instantly darkened.

"Remember to put two pieces in your schoolbag. Oh, and this thing doesn't go directly on your skin, so don't mess it up again..."

Reading Cen Man's note, Feng Yijiu's face slowly began to heat up.

Then she rushed into the kitchen in a few quick steps and lit the stove.

But... her expression still didn't look great. Counting the days, it really did seem like it was about time.

The first time had at least happened at home. Even if things went sideways, no one else would've known. But this time...

Feng Yijiu felt the situation was getting a little serious.

Luckily, when she woke up the next morning, aside from a sore lower back, there wasn't any horrifyingly bloody scene waiting for her.

Feng Yijiu secretly let out a sigh of relief. But just to be safe, she still obediently put on that girly thing.

Before leaving, she spotted Little Orange's fat butt swaying side to side, and a wave of irritation hit her for no reason.

They'd both taken the same cut, so why didn't he need one?

Feng Yijiu didn't even know why. She just felt annoyed.

"Here, Little Orange. This is your cat food for today." Feng Yijiu smiled sweetly and dropped a single kibble into his bowl. "Eat up, okay?"

Little Orange brought his chubby face close to the bowl and lowered his head into it. But very soon, he lifted it again, confusion in his eyes.

Uh... apparently, control over his food supply was still in Cen Man the two-legged creature's hands. In that case, never mind.

...

"Hey, should we collect the homework now? Feels like most of the class is already here."

Feng Yijiu had just sat down in the classroom when one of Li Hao's fingers poked over.

"Didn't I tell you not to keep poking me?" Feng Yijiu turned her head with clear annoyance.

"Uh, sorry. Habit." Li Hao got startled too.

"Hmph." Feng Yijiu stood up. "Everyone, take out your math homework..."

Li Hao looked a little awkward. Actually, he'd wanted to start a conversation with Feng Yijiu, then ask her to teach him how to study efficiently and play games efficiently too.

But for some reason, he'd managed to hit her sore spot again today.

Still, as he watched Feng Yijiu's figure gradually walk away, a faint sense of envy rose in his heart. Maybe this was what a real winner in life looked like.

"Feng Yijiu, um... this weekend, can we do homework together, and then... play games?" Li Hao was struggling to carry most of the class's homework, but in the end, he still asked the question between breaths.

"Playing games is fine. Forget the homework." Feng Yijiu thought for a moment, but still didn't tell him she'd already be spending the whole weekend hanging out with his goddess.

"Then... can you teach me your study method?" Li Hao gritted his teeth and finally crossed that mental hurdle.

"Huh?" Feng Yijiu froze, then looked at him and tilted her head.

"Drink while the wine's here today, and worry about tomorrow night's homework tomorrow night?" Feng Yijiu propped up her chin in a tactical pose and answered uncertainly.

Li Hao: ???

"No, but even if I did have one, why should I teach you?" Feng Yijiu stopped, looked at Li Hao, and held out her evil little hand. "What's in it for me?"

"I can take you to exercise, and..." Li Hao felt like his only advantage over Feng Yijiu was that he was physically stronger.

"No thanks." Feng Yijiu had a vague feeling this guy was taking a jab at her, but she had no proof. "I'd rather go hang out with girls. At least girls go all 'uwu.'"

Li Hao opened his mouth, looked at Feng Yijiu walking ahead of him, and suddenly remembered a line from Zhong Kui that fit the moment perfectly.

"Trash belongs in the trash can."

Then after they got to the office, Teacher Jiang finished him off with one sentence too.

"Yo, A-Hao, thanks for the hard work. Young man's got strength, huh!"

Li Hao looked at the completely relaxed and carefree Feng Yijiu beside him, and for a moment, had no idea what to say.

"No, seriously, what kind of benefit do you want?" As he and Feng Yijiu walked down toward the field, Li Hao asked gloomily, "It's not like you're short on money."

"Benefit?" Feng Yijiu looked at him and tilted her head. "Yeah, what do I even want from you? With a voice like yours, even if you tried going 'uwu,' it wouldn't be a blessing. It'd be The Ring at midnight."

"How about you crossdress?" Feng Yijiu's eyes lit up, and she snapped her fingers. "You wear girls' clothes, and I'll pass down the peerless secret art, the Sunflower Manual."

Li Hao clenched his fists and roared inwardly. Come on, can you be serious for once?!

"You really mean it?" Feng Yijiu looked at his expression. But honestly, if this guy tried to follow the same study rhythm as her, he was doomed sooner or later. She was reviewing. He was still actually learning.

After thinking for a bit, Feng Yijiu fished around in her pocket and pulled something out. A white item, and a sticky note.

Her face reddened slightly. Before Li Hao could see clearly, she quickly stuffed the sanitary pad back into her pocket.

Li Hao's attention, meanwhile, was completely on the sticky note.

"Here. Weekly plan. List out roughly what you need to do this week, then estimate the time. This section is for changes to the tasks and any extra tasks that branch off from them."

Feng Yijiu explained, "Then sort those tasks into categories. Some can be done in fragmented time. See? I marked those with triangles. Some things have to be done in one go, so I marked those with boxes in front."

"And for things that absolutely must be done and have fixed times, I marked them in red... then at the end here, you mark the completion level, and next week you can adjust based on how this week went."

Li Hao treated it like treasure. Sadly, Feng Yijiu took the note back not long after.

"Go write your own when you get home. I still need this one for the rest of the week." Feng Yijiu wrinkled her little nose.

Late at night, Li Hao sat alone at his desk, writing something. He paused midway, gently unlocked his phone, and pulled up a photo.

In it, he and Feng Yijiu were standing at the entrance of an amusement park. He was smiling brightly, while Feng Yijiu's smile looked a little forced.

It was like inspiration struck him again. He lowered his head and started writing rapidly on the sticky note.

Feng Yijiu Confession Plan.

After finishing, Li Hao carefully read through it again, then drew a few small triangles beside the steps that absolutely had to be completed.

This was what she'd taught him, after all.

Good method.

But now it's mine.
