Early the next morning, Xiao Feng called Li Wei to arrange a meetup at the entrance of Tianjing Water Park before heading out.

Just as he stepped into the hallway after getting dressed, he bumped into Liu Qing across the way—facing away, dressed in casual wear, also about to leave.

"Uh? Sister Qing, heading out too?"

Hearing his voice, Liu Qing turned with a puzzled look. Recognizing Xiao Feng, she instantly flashed a heart-fluttering smile.

"Yep, little brother Feng. Running out of paints at home—gotta restock. You heading out too? What for?"

Knowing Liu Qing was an art student, Xiao Feng found it perfectly normal. "Meeting a friend at Tianjing Water Park to stroll and unwind!"

Liu Qing studied him thoughtfully, then grinned. "Off to check out the beauties? Tianjing’s always packed with pretty girls, and summer break just made it worse!"

Xiao Feng’s heart skipped a beat. *Mind reader? How does she know everything?*

Aloud, he stammered, "Nonsense! With you this stunning, Sister Qing, why’d I look elsewhere? Could anyone compare?"

Liu Qing laughed even more sweetly. "Your words get sweeter every day, little brother Feng. I know it’s flattery—but girls eat this up. Even your sister’s no exception!"

"No, really! You’re genuinely gorgeous. Any guy marrying you’d be the luckiest alive!" Xiao Feng scratched his head, flustered.

Liu Qing squinted playfully. "Little brother Feng… did you mean *happiness*… or *bliss*?"

At her suggestive tease, Xiao Feng waved hastily. "Sister Qing, gotta run—catch you later!"

He didn’t even wait for the elevator, bolting straight for the stairs.

Liu Qing called after him, laughing, "Cooking dinner tonight? I’ll wait~ Don’t leave this poor weak girl starving, okay~?"

Xiao Feng, foot already on the stair, nearly stumbled.

*Holy crap. Sounds like we’re an item! Doesn’t she worry about rumors?*

He kept moving—Li Wei was waiting.

—At the Tianjing Water Park entrance—

Xiao Feng glanced at the park: busier than usual, though not packed.

*Hope I spot some beauties today. Sure, Sister Qing’s a one-in-a-million mature beauty… but freeloading at my place is one thing. Her teasing? Unforgivable.*

"Son Xiao! Dad’s here! Quick—I found a looker!"

A cheeky voice cut through his thoughts. No need to guess—it was Li Wei.

Xiao Feng turned. A handsome guy with dyed blond hair (not a foreigner), in a white short-sleeve shirt, capris, and sneakers, waved eagerly.

"Jerk, so thrilled to see your dad?" Xiao Feng shot back with a grin.

Li Wei dashed over, slapping his shoulder. "No chit-chat! Come—just spotted a mature beauty in an ultra-short miniskirt, legs for days. Could admire those legs for two years!"

A flicker of excitement stirred in Xiao Feng, but his face stayed cool. "Keep it down. Are we even the same person? Do I look shallow to you?"

Li Wei snorted. "Spare me. I know you. Back with Xia Xue, you never joined me to enjoy life’s vibrant beauties. Now she dumped you—drop the act!"

His smile vanished, tone turning serious. "I warned you: kindness doesn’t guarantee loyalty. Look at you—two years, just hand-holding. Still a damn virgin. Meanwhile, Hong Tao’s already ahead of you. Damn, unfair, right?"

"Me? Loyalty’s overrated. Seize what you want—or lose out. Stop being the nice guy who freezes while warming others. Join me, bro—be a player. Live free, live happy!"

Xiao Feng listened, emotions tangled. He’d given so much… yet Hong Tao surpassed two years of effort in days. *Unbelievable.*

But he could never be Li Wei’s kind of player. Otherwise, Xia Xue’s breakup wouldn’t hurt this much.

Seeing Xiao Feng deep in thought, Li Wei’s stern face softened. He patted his shoulder.

"Alright, alright. Brothers don’t need to match. I’m a player—you were the ultimate nice guy. Girls in class liked you! If you hadn’t fixated on Xia Xue, finding someone better would’ve been hard?"

Xiao Feng gave a wry smile. "You think everyone’s as handsome as you? I’m kinda cute… but next to you, jerk, I fall short."

Li Wei burst out laughing. "Hah! Never knew you were this narcissistic too, son!"

"Pfft!"

Just then, a stretched limousine glided to the park gates—pure luxury.

Two sharp-suited, sunglass-wearing men emerged, opened the door with a bow.

Out stepped a silver-haired girl, barely 1.5 meters tall, face shaded by a sun hat.

Li Wei saw it all; Xiao Feng, back turned, saw nothing.

By the time Li Wei yelled for him to look, the silver-haired loli had vanished into the crowd, escorted by the tall men. All Xiao Feng caught was their retreating backs.
