Chapter 47: Haven't You Witnessed the St

"Darn it!"

The BOSS wasn’t going down easily. If a minor spell and a few slashes could defeat it, this monster wouldn’t deserve to be the boss of an S-rank Dungeon Instance.

Though not felled, Sebastian’s attacks and the vanishing minions had fully enraged the BOSS. The wounds from ice spikes and Sebastian’s five slashes began healing gradually.

"Impossible."

Sebastian frowned. A BOSS that auto-healed? Did such a thing even exist?

Even among supernatural Monsters, auto-healing types were rare. A humanoid one?

"Dodge, Sebastian!"

Aester’s voice rang from the shadows—but too late! The BOSS’s massive fist slammed down, kicking up dust.

"Sebastian!"

"I’m fine…"

His voice drifted from the dust, laced with disappointment and a hint of apology. The dust settled slowly. Beyond raindrops, a faint clinking of metal echoed.

"I’ll take over this time."

Lin Zhong appeared before Sebastian. He swung his War Spear, clashing with the BOSS’s fists, blocking every blow aimed at Sebastian.

The obese body didn’t slow its punches—in fact, they grew faster and fiercer. But Lin Zhong was ready.

A gunshot echoed. The BOSS’s bulky form flew skyward.

"Light Fire Rapid Shot!"

Su Han gripped twin rifles. Bullets sprayed wildly, raining onto the airborne BOSS like free ammo.

With that strike, Lin Zhong and Su Han’s show began.

Lin Zhong wielded his War Spear.

Uppercut! Spinning Strike! Uppercut! Continuous Thrusts! Uppercut…

Infinite juggling. The BOSS couldn’t land—or even resist. Lin Zhong kept it airborne while Su Han’s bullets hammered it mid-flight.

"Spatial Killing Art!"

Lin Zhong thrust his spear again. This time, Snowfall Thousand Chills coated it in frost. Each swing birthed an ice wall in the air.

Walls formed steadily, trapping the obese body mid-air.

"Stellar Meteor Burst!"

Lin Zhong raised his hand high. Frosty magic circles solidified overhead, each glowing with a radiant energy core.

"Get out!"

Alice’s voice reached Aester and Charlotte below.

Go? Aester glanced at Alice, puzzled—but far more confused by the energy core suspended in countless magic circles.

Alice recognized it instantly. The same move Lin Zhong used last Dungeon Instance. Far deadlier than her Forbidden Spell. When it fell, this zone would be erased.

"Go!"

Lin Zhong nodded. Su Han sprinted outward. Sebastian followed close behind.

Though baffled, Aester grabbed Alice and flew off.

"Snow White, take him!"

The white wolf leaped from Lin Zhong’s shoulder. It didn’t become a giant White Wolf King—just a large, powerful wolf.

It seized Charlotte in its jaws, hoisted her onto its back, and bounded over rubble.

Behind them, the ice wall holding the BOSS faded. The magic circles fixing the energy core began vanishing too.

One by one, they melted into droplets, merging with the rain.

Crack! Crack!

The ice wall dissolved. The BOSS crashed down—but no escape. As it landed, countless Claymore mines lined its impact point.

Bang! Bang! Bang!!!!

The energy core detonated as the last circle vanished. The entire settlement—ground, buildings—turned to dust in an instant, erased from existence.

"This…"

Aester gasped. This wasn’t just an Apostle’s attack. Wiping out a vast area in one blast…

Everyone around her—except Alice and Su Han—wore the same stunned look. Had they not fled, they’d all be ashes.

But Lin Zhong wouldn’t allow that. The circles melted slower than usual—that’s why they escaped.

If it melted as fast as against the White Wolf King, they’d have vaporized halfway out.

"This is Star Burst. Didn’t you say you’d never seen it?"

Su Han waved helplessly. Lin Zhong was reckless. Unlike Alice’s Forbidden Spell—which needed long chants and insane mana—

Star Burst wasn’t cast lightly. But Lin Zhong had his reasons.

"This is…"

Charlotte stared at the colossal crater, dumbfounded. Far stronger than Lin Zhong’s past moves—Chaotic Flower Burial or Flower Dance Thousand Soul Slay.

Unlike Martial Arts, this perfectly channeled his Supernatural Ability.

Battle Mages blended Martial Arts with Supernatural Abilities or magic. This was his peak—but the strike drained his stamina, leaving Lin Zhong slightly weary.

"Rest a bit."

Su Han glanced at Lin Zhong, now seated on Snow White. Unlike mages burning mana, Supernatural Abilities consumed personal stamina.

This Star Burst drained massive stamina—but its impact dwarfed Alice’s Forbidden Spell.

Elsewhere, Lilianne wiped blood from her hands, gazing toward the explosion.

Beside her lay a burly man, body riddled with bullet holes and slash wounds.

If Aester were here, she’d recognize him—one of the six BOSSes.

"Lady Lilianne, over there…"

The maid asked politely.

"That’s Fool’s Court’s work. Either a Forbidden Spell or Lin Zhong’s move. Su Han’s weapon generation can’t spawn a nuke yet. We’ll ask later. Let’s go."

"Yes! Understood!"
