Blood Kiss shot toward Vicky like a phantom—her body hadn’t moved, yet her sword struck first? This Vampire Princess was no ordinary foe. Vicky parried in startled defense.

She twirled her silver blade midair, each strike perfectly tapping Blood Kiss’s edge. The terrifying force behind it dissolved instantly. With a casual flick, she sent Blood Kiss flying—only for it to arc crimson through the air and snap back into Tina’s grip.

“Not bad. Quite skilled,” Tina murmured. Blood Kiss seemed to echo her taunt, swaying with a sharp sword-hum that mocked Vicky.

Blindfolded, Sky Qi’s hearing sharpened. He clearly caught the clash of blades, the faint hum of steel, and the whoosh of cutting air—but no footsteps.

Vicky might use Lingbo Weibu, a human-exclusive technique he couldn’t detect without mana. But Tina? Impossible. Only one explanation: she hadn’t moved an inch. Standing firm, she’d effortlessly traded blows. Truly formidable.

Sky Qi could do nothing—barely surviving himself. It galled him to be treated like a mere object fought over.

Tina’s surprise attack shattered Vicky’s rhythm and plans. Forced to strike first, Vicky channeled mana into her silver sword. Its glow intensified, blindingly radiant.

Jian Yan Jue!

White cold flames erupted along the blade, warping the air. Though seemingly heatless, they seared Tina’s soul.

The flaming tip lunged—not one thrust, but countless afterimages. Tina’s heart lurched. *Unblockable.* She backpedaled hard, pouring mana into Blood Kiss to brace.

Flames kissed the blade; some were absorbed. Tina reeled. This human wielded swordsmanship flawlessly, amplifying damage with mana. One touch of that cold fire would incinerate a soul.

And that heavy armor—easily over two hundred pounds. Normal humans would collapse, yet Vicky moved lightly, executing Lingbo Weibu silently despite the weight. No wonder she’d infiltrated so easily.

Clad head-to-toe in steel, face hidden, Vicky never spoke. Tina couldn’t even guess her gender.

Humans were terrifying. Tina doubted their invasion’s success. She’d captured Sky Qi by luck—but this weaker human? She might lose.

*Should I surrender Sky Qi?* She shook her head fiercely. Impossible. If he escaped, he’d remove the collar. Restored, he’d unleash a Bloodline apocalypse. Unthinkable.

“I won’t let you take him!” Tina gritted her teeth. Blood Kiss shrieked in response, its blade flaring crimson.

Vicky frowned. *No time.* Distant footsteps neared—Bloodline grunts would swarm within a minute. She couldn’t finish the Vampire Princess here.

Feng Huo Duan Kong Zhan!

She raised her sword high, slashing down. A gale of cold fire ripped toward Tina, its force slicing a shallow gash on her arm.

Tina blocked desperately with Blood Kiss. Against Vicky’s full power, she could only defend. Most force deflected—but residual wind carved her shoulder. Blood gushed like a fountain.

When Tina recovered, Vicky had vanished. She spun around. Sky Qi, bound to the bed moments ago, had disappeared too. Only severed chains remained, still warm from the silver blade.

Her bleeding wound sealed under mana, flesh knitting visibly until her shoulder was smooth again. Only her torn dress left her looking alluring.

Thud thud thud! Bloodline royal guards finally arrived. A long-haired man panted, “Your Highness, what happened?”

He saw Tina’s disheveled clothes, fresh blood, and crimson eyes—like a demoness risen from hell.

“Useless fools!” Tina hurled a wineglass, shattering it. “A human infiltrated easily—and you’re late!”

“Y-yes, my fault entirely,” the man stammered.

“Enough. He escaped. Cancel the invasion—delay it ten days.” Tina paused.

The man blinked, confused. “Why?”

“None of your concern. Just obey!” She pressed Blood Kiss to his throat, scowling.

He bowed low. “Yes, yes. Immediately.”

As the Vampire Princess’s captain, he was strong—but today baffled him. Her usual calm had vanished, replaced by seething hatred. That gaze… like imperial nobles lusting after women. And earlier, a broken chain on the bed.

*Did she keep a blood slave who escaped? But why such rage over one slave?*

The scapegoat captain scratched his head innocently. *Better not pry. Disobey her, and I lose my head.*
