"The paperwork's all done."

While Feng Ye browsed the mission details with a frown, Lin Tang skipped over happily, holding two ID cards. She handed them to the pair.

"Here, these are your team certification cards. From now on, any one of us can submit missions at the guild. Completed tasks will be logged directly under our team's honor. Monthly individual quotas are canceled—you only need to meet the team's target."

Feng Ye took the card. Lin Tang then curiously leaned her little head close to his shoulder. "Feng Ye-gege, what are you looking at?"

"Mission requests..." Feng Ye sighed, rubbing his temples. "But everything here is escort jobs or bodyguard gigs."

Lin Tang quickly understood his worry. "These are old postings. Don't stress, Feng Ye-gege. When the city faces a crisis, urgent missions get pinned to the top."

"We're not rushing to level up the team anyway. We can just take random daily quests."

Feng Ye gave her an apologetic look.

But Lin Tang merely flashed a dimpled smile, her eyes crinkling slightly.

"Hey, cut the goo-goo eyes!" Lin Chuan grumbled, unable to hold back. "And Feng Ye, buddy—you crushing on my sister? Let me warn you: she's only twelve. You could land serious jail time."

"You—you're talking nonsense!" Lin Tang blurted out before Feng Ye could reply, her face flushing crimson. "W-what goo-goo eyes?!"

"Feng Ye-gege and I are just having a normal chat!" Her voice trembled with flustered excitement.

Feng Ye added, "I see Tangtang as a little sister, same as you. Jail time isn't in my future—and I have a girlfriend already."

"Exactly! Don't imagine Feng Ye-gege is as creepy as you," Lin Tang muttered. Then she froze, turning to Feng Ye with wide, disbelieving eyes. "Wait!! You have a girlfriend??"

"Uh... y-yeah," Feng Ye said, scratching his head in confusion at her sudden intensity.

Lin Chuan narrowed his eyes—already half-lidded—to a traitorous glare. "Damn, Feng Ye! You've got a girlfriend? I thought we were brothers in arms. Traitor!"

Lin Tang pouted unhappily, her dark eyes darting. "Feng Ye-gege, do you have a photo of her? I wanna see."

"Of course! It's my phone wallpaper." Feng Ye pulled out his phone, then stiffened. Sweat beaded on his forehead.

He'd just remembered: the photo was of Stella.

Stella—the Holy Maiden of the Holy Light Church, the top power in Radiant Land. Her status surpassed even royalty. Every Awakened who'd visited Radiant Land knew her. Back in the real world, some Awakened had even formed the "Stella Holy Maiden Protection Association"... a group of obsessive lolicon and holy maiden fetishists sworn to "protect" her.

Showing Stella's photo here meant near-certain recognition. Near-certain disaster.

Feng Ye's smile turned rigid. "Haha... I forgot. I deleted her photos." He fumbled to pocket the phone, but Lin Tang snatched it with a *whoosh*.

"Let me see!" Lin Chuan instantly shielded his sister—a rare moment of sibling teamwork. Feng Ye watched helplessly as Lin Tang unlocked the screen. The wallpaper showed his little sister: black hair spilling over her shoulders, wearing a cute dress on the couch, cheeks puffed in a playful pout.

"What an adorable little loli!" Lin Chuan gasped, then eyed Feng Ye like a pervert. "Buddy, you're totally a lolicon creep."

"Are you an idiot?" Lin Tang shot her brother a glare. "That's Feng Ye-gege's sister! And who's creepier than you, parading around in your underwear in front of me?"

Lin Chuan turned green, choking on the truth. Feng Ye bit back a laugh. "Alright, Tangtang... give back the phone. You can't unlock it without the passcode—holy crap!"

He stared in shock as Lin Tang triumphantly pressed a tiny device against the fingerprint sensor. The lock screen vanished instantly.

"Don't underestimate me, Feng Ye-gege," she said with a mischievous grin. "I've 'settled' my brother's shopping cart plenty of times."

Lin Chuan sputtered, "So *that's* why my shopping app balance kept shrinking!"

"Hmph. Brothers exist to buy things for sisters—it's only natural," Lin Tang declared. Feng Ye couldn't help but recall Coco, who always said brothers were born to buy her ice cream, give massages, and sleep beside her. *Sisters really are all the same!*

...But this wasn't the time for that. Stella's photo was about to be exposed! A headache throbbed in Feng Ye's temples.

Before Lin Chuan could speak again, his gaze locked onto Feng Ye's phone wallpaper. Lin Tang stared too—at the photo of Feng Ye's "girlfriend."

*I'm doomed...* Feng Ye buried his face in his hands, dreading the explanation.

To his surprise, neither sibling seemed shocked.

Lin Chuan clapped Feng Ye's shoulder sympathetically. "I get it, bro. Stella Holy Maiden is everyone's dream goddess. But don't fantasize too much—claiming she's your girlfriend?"

"Yeah, Feng Ye-gege," Lin Tang added, a hint of relief in her voice. "Stella Holy Maiden is amazing, but she's from another world."

"No..." Feng Ye blinked, bewildered. "She really *is* my girlfriend."

This wasn't how he'd expected it to go. He'd braced for lies, not disbelief when he told the truth.

Lin Chuan squinted. "Do you have an online alias like 'Stella Holy Maiden's Panties in My Next Life'?"

"Of course not! What kind of name is that?!" Feng Ye snapped.

"If you're not him, you can't call Stella your girlfriend. You're just a candidate," Lin Chuan stated firmly. "Per the Stella Holy Maiden Protection Association rules, only the monthly duel winner gets to be her boyfriend for a month. That guy's the current champ."

"I've never heard of this!" Feng Ye exclaimed.

"You didn't know?" Lin Chuan looked shocked. "I thought you were a member! But since you adore her so much, I'll sponsor your application."

"No—explain properly! What duel winner gets to be her boyfriend?!" Feng Ye's voice rose.

"Oh, that's just fantasy," Lin Chuan said casually. "Even in daydreams, only one guy gets to be her boyfriend."

Feng Ye: "...".

Lin Tang shot her brother a disgusted look. "You guys are seriously creepy."

Feng Ye nodded firmly. "Yeah. Your association should disband before someone shuts it down."

"Damn it! Feng Ye, you're also pretending Stella's your girlfriend! And Lin Tang, why single me out?!" Lin Chuan protested.

"Hmph. Feng Ye-gege is nothing like you," Lin Tang declared.

"Whose sister are you even?!"

...

Meanwhile, after Feng Ye's accidental girlfriend fiasco resolved, two men sat in a snack shop near Sacred Heart Academy. One wore a baseball cap; the other looked timid. They ordered a table full of food, eating while staring at the grand academy gates.

These were Lü Xiaodao and Xiao Zhang—sworn enemies of Rollroll.

"Xiaodao-ge, are you sure that dog's inside the academy?" Xiao Zhang asked anxiously.

"Yep." Lü Xiaodao crushed a peanut between his teeth, hatred flashing in his eyes. "If that damn dog hadn't hidden here, we'd be having hotpot for lunch." He kicked a nearby bundle, clattering with metal pots and pans inside.

"What if it never comes out?" Xiao Zhang fretted. "Do we storm the academy?"

"Hmph. It'll come out," Lü Xiaodao said flatly, snapping his chopsticks in half. "Tracking logs show it only enters during morning classes. It doesn't live there."

"We just wait for dismissal."
