"Holy crap!"

"What am I seeing? This can't be real!"

"Rigged! There's definitely a fix going on!"

Soon after the girl replied to Feng Ye's comment, the post's popularity exploded again.

Almost no one expected the poster would favor the guy they'd mocked for boasting. This dramatic twist made them feel played.

Instantly, the crowd erupted in outrage.

"Why was this guy chosen? A 100% stun skill? Do you really think such a combat skill exists? Even if it did, only an Awakened who reached the Divine Realm could master it!"

"You skipped me—a master controller—to pick this random braggart? Even Haven City's strongest control-type Awakened wouldn't dare claim that! A 100% success rate control skill is impossible!"

Especially those who'd left their info early were furious. How could they lose to this guy?

"OP, just reveal your Awakened level. Useless talk like this isn't convincing," someone demanded bluntly.

Beyond these replies, others mocked the OP's intelligence. Watching this, the girl shook with anger. She disabled the post's reply function and snapped, "With your attitudes, I'd pick a pig to OB over any of you!"

After venting, she felt uneasy. But a friend request from Feng Ye made her forget the annoyance.

Opening their private chat, her first message was: "Can you really achieve 100% stun control?"

Feng Ye replied: "Correct."

After a moment's thought, he added: "But the stun duration is short. It only works as an interrupt-type control skill."

"100% interrupt?"

Though not a long stun, the girl was shocked. This was useful—some Beasts mastered offensive skills, and interrupting them eased battles.

"He sounds so confident... Is he skilled or just bluffing?" she muttered. After brief consideration, she replied: "Tomorrow at 10 AM, meet at the rest area before Entrance A of the Celestial Observatory. I'll bring my team. If testing confirms 100% interrupt, we'll recruit you officially."

Feng Ye replied: "No problem."

She then shared her contact number, telling him to message if he got lost. Feng Ye noted it down. But as he closed the chat window, he paused. Seeing her new message, his expression turned strange.

"By the way, are you also a fan of the great god Night Maple? How did you register this account?"

"The great god Night Maple?"

Feng Ye felt his face flush. Such an old title—he hadn't heard it in over a year.

"Night Maple vanished three years ago. Does anyone still remember this name..." He ran a hand through his hair, emotions tangled. Seeing her impatient barrage of question marks, he finally replied: "A friend gifted me this account. I don't know how it was registered."

"Ahhh! Why didn't anyone gift me one!" Her eyes burned with envy. Under her seat, her foot in cartoon slippers kicked resentfully.

"Are you selling it? I'll pay high."

"Sorry, it has sentimental value. I won't sell," Feng Ye refused directly.

"I see..."

She felt regretful but knew it couldn't be forced. Still, she envied how such an account would drive her girlfriends crazy.

"Sadly, Night Maple was elusive back then—never leaving a signature. Even his merch was unofficial," she muttered. That made accounts like his precious. Numbers under ten thousand sparked fierce fights. Only after admins reclaimed accounts past "yefeng100" did the frenzy calm. Afterward, every account in that format became rarer.

She never expected to see "yefeng01" here. It was one of the original accounts.

After ending the chat, Feng Ye lay back in his chair, a headache forming. "I thought retiring would make people forget me... Yet someone still remembers 'Night Maple'."

He shook his head with a sigh, but secretly thrilled—he was still young at heart.

Years ago, he'd hidden his true identity as "Night Maple," reaching the pinnacle of the Divine Realm among Awakened. Though always low-key, his name inevitably went public after his ascent. Night Maple's mystique drew massive interest. Past battles resurfaced, spiraling into a huge fanbase—the "Night Maple Support Group." Soon, the identity became trouble. His appearances caused riots and crowds. Unwilling to be chased, and facing personal upheavals, he abandoned it. He vanished, never appearing publicly as Night Maple again.

His last use of the name was in City A, soloing a powerful being from another world. Their battle raged high above the city, earth-shattering like colliding meteors. Night Maple won—but then fell silent.

Many assumed he retired from injuries. Haters spread death rumors. Yet most still believed he lived on, silently guarding the world. His name became legend.

Feng Ye paid it no mind. He didn't know "Night Maple" still held extraordinary sway. Renowned authors even interviewed his former allies, preparing a biography: *The Legend of Night Maple*.
