The class's original plan was for Qin Huan and Wang Shiyi to be the cosplayers, but somehow it changed to Qin Huan and Wu Feng. Still, this wasn't unusual—novels and manga pulled this trope all the time.
Like when the prince actor got food poisoning, the male lead stepped in, and the female lead just happened to be Snow White. They'd grow closer, more intimate, maybe even throw in some fan service.
Readers ate that up.
But what was happening now was genuinely new.
They were cosplaying from *Amagi Brilliant Park*: Qin Huan as Sento Isuzu, and Wu Feng, naturally—Latifa Wildark.
Whoa, are you a cross-dresser?
Chu Hui, sitting beside Zhou Zhiyi, snorted and spat out her water. After a light cough, she said, "Your class is really something!"
"They must've thrown this together last minute..." Zhou Zhiyi watched Class 4 march by. "I had no idea it'd be like this."
"See, skip out and you miss fun stuff—you might regret it," Chu Hui munched on snacks. "That's why I come to school."
"Guess you're right, but this is just too much."
When a guy cross-dresses, two outcomes: one, he looks stunningly beautiful, like a real girl; two, it's an eyesore.
This was clearly the second. Wu Feng had golden long hair—a wig—and a fancy dress like Latifa...
But sorry, I just couldn't see him as Latifa.
This was probably the worst Latifa had ever been disrespected!
Naturally, other classes noticed. Those already seated erupted in thunderous cheers. Wu Feng became the center of attention, and his Class 4 drew every gaze.
Wherever you go, cross-dressers steal the spotlight...
Zhou Zhiyi had little desire to watch Wu Feng's cringy cosplay. His eyes focused on Sento Isuzu—Qin Huan.
Admittedly, casting Qin Huan as Sento Isuzu was odd—their personalities were polar opposites. But aside from that, it wasn't bad.
Just as cheers filled the air, an accident struck Class 4—someone tripped.
It was Mu Shiqi, an ordinary girl Zhou Zhiyi barely knew. She was pretty, but not as striking as Liu Muyu. She didn't shine in class because she was a bit plump—not extremely, just noticeably.
Her fall almost guaranteed they'd lose this event. Or rather, sealed their fate.
Sometimes, too much attention is troublesome. Flaws get magnified endlessly. Like a stain on white paper—it stands out glaringly.
Though few spoke aloud, the whispers were enough to shatter the girl's confidence.
Zhou Zhiyi didn't think it was a big deal, but he wasn't Mu Shiqi.
Mu Shiqi stood up, tears streaming down her pretty face, as if she'd committed a grave sin.
"What a shame for your class," Chu Hui said regretfully, as if she belonged to Zhou Zhiyi's class.
"Yeah, it's a pity, but nothing we can do," Zhou Zhiyi said nonchalantly. "Our class is heading back soon. You should go too, or they'll tease us about being a couple."
"C-couple?" Chu Hui's face flushed red. "I-it's way too early for that!"
"I just said they'd think that, not that I do," Zhou Zhiyi explained. "Of course, if you don't mind, I won't either."
By the time he finished, Chu Hui had slipped back to her seats, her face still flushed with a mysterious blush.
It wasn't as instant as Qin Huan's blushing skills, but close.
Soon, Class 4 returned to their seats, huddled together.
But Zhou Zhiyi noticed Wu Feng and Mu Shiqi were missing.
Whoa, no way? Could it be...
"Li Han, where are Wu Feng and Mu Shiqi?" Zhou Zhiyi turned to the sports-challenged guy behind him.
"Mu Shiqi got hurt. Wu Feng volunteered to take her to the nurse's office," Li Han chuckled. "Didn't know she was into that type."
Perfect. I can pretty much predict what's next, Zhou Zhiyi thought to himself...
