"Hmm! Time's up. Let's go!" Lin Ye said, checking his watch.
"No way? I finally got alone time with Yeer—I want a proper heart-to-heart! ♥" Nan Ling cooed.
"Well, but Lin Feng Academy will expel us!" Lin Ye said, sweating slightly.
"Expel us? So what! No matter what that old hag says, I'll take care of Yeer. Yeer just needs to eat, pee, and sleep," Nan Ling said cheerfully.
"Stop it! Let's just go back properly!" Lin Ye interrupted hurriedly, grabbing Nan Ling's hand and heading toward school.
Nan Ling held Lin Ye's hand, feeling its warmth. She thought how wonderful it would be to stay like this with him forever.
At school, classes ran as usual. But during breaks, F Class students spread conspiracy theories about D Class traits and their shameless, underhanded tactics. Seeing such disgraceful boys, Nan Ling and other girls silently kept their distance.
After school, Lin Ye waited for his sister as usual. But after a long wait with no sign of her, he grew suspicious and went to the student council room alone. Opening the door, he saw a black-haired girl with glasses—he’d met her at the welcome party. It was Vice President Mu Qi.
"Vice President Mu Qi, have you seen my sister?" he asked.
"The president? She went home early, leaving all the chores to me. She was in a terrible mood, cursing your name while working. Any idea why?" Mu Qi asked doubtfully.
*Oh no, she’s really angry. I need to find her!* Lin Ye thought anxiously, sprinting home.
Watching his panic, Mu Qi drooled. "So it really is that obsessive sibling bond? I’d love to study it up close!" She licked her lips.
Lin Ye raced home, determined to explain everything about Nan Ling.
The moment he opened the door, he lost consciousness.
"Ouch! Ouch!" Lin Ye cried, opening his eyes to a throbbing headache.
His hands were bound by rope. Pitch darkness surrounded him—until lights suddenly blazed on. His sister stood before him, face haggard yet burning with desire.
"Yeer, awake? Hungry? Sister made you bone broth," Ling Ling said, walking over with a bowl. She scooped a spoonful toward his lips.
*Classic yandere behavior,* Lin Ye thought. *They lock you away as their property, controlling everything. Must play along.* He’d known Ling Ling was yandere for years—he had a plan.
He drank the broth, putting on a blissful expression. Then he lunged forward, kissing Ling Ling’s lips and sliding his tongue into her mouth. She froze, stunned—he’d never kissed her before. Her simmering rage instantly cooled.
"Sister, since I was little, you’ve been my only one. So gentle, so perfect—you’re my everything. I love the sister who’s always kind and defends me!" Lin Ye said, blushing. He saw her pale cheeks flush pink. *It’s working!*
"Sister, remember when I said death scared me most?" he continued. She listened intently.
"I feared dying before telling you how much I love you. I feared no one would love you like I do—my most beautiful, kindest sister!" he gushed, suppressing his nausea.
"Hey, sister... who tied me up? It hurts so much. Yeer’s in pain. Sister, it *hurts*," he whined, shifting to a pitiful, cute pout.
Tears streamed down Ling Ling’s face. She untied his ropes, thinking, *I’m a terrible sister for letting him suffer. Never again.* Choking back sobs, she said, "I don’t know! I found you tied up when I arrived—I was so worried!"
*Why make soup before untying me?* Lin Ye thought dryly. *But love is blind—even gross sweet talk melts an ice queen. Staying with her forever wouldn’t be bad... No!* He snapped back. *She’s my sister! Ethically impossible!*
Putting on an extra-cute face, he chirped, "Sister, I want more soup! Let’s drink it downstairs, okay?"
"Of course, Yeer. Whatever you say!" Ling Ling replied warmly, her usual gentleness restored.
Hand in hand, they walked downstairs.
