"You know broВыврагのdüşman Nicht unbedingt Tu amigo," so we must be cautious with our words. —— Excerpt from Hua Xin's Collection.

"Remember, you're asking what type of person he likes." (Click) (Click).

Xia Yan pointed at the "trendsetter"... er, probably a guy standing nearby. He was striking poses while a passing photographer snapped away.

The man wore a black head covering with dreadlocks, hiding his face. But his height and build confirmed he was male.

"Remember, what he *likes*."

"Don't be scared. I'm right behind you."

Xia Yan munched cookies as he spoke to Hua Xin. He finished the pack in two bites, then gently patted her shoulder.

Hua Xin: 😨🥺

Her legs felt weak. She nodded absentmindedly.

Xia Yan's words hadn't registered. Panic filled her mind at interviewing a stranger alone.

(I'm gonna kill you, Xia Yan 😭.)

(You promised I'd just record... 😭.)

(All in black with a head covering...)

(Is he some gangster? 😭...)

(No, no gangsters nowadays, haha 😭...)

Her eyes swirled like whirlpools. Dazed, she let Xia Yan push her toward the man.

(It's fine...)

(No gangsters. Don't be scared 🥺...)

"Huh?"

"Damn, what's up, bro?"

The head-covered man looked down at Hua Xin—holding a pen—and Xia Yan behind her with camera and phone aimed. Confusion flickered in his voice, but excitement bled through.

He'd stood here all morning. Finally, someone with taste was interviewing him.

"Uh..."

Hua Xin stepped back twice in fear.

(What's he saying? Gonna kill me? So scary! West Coast accent? Is he a rapper?...)

She turned to bolt. But Xia Yan smiled, pointing silently at the camera.

(Don't run, or classmates and teachers see Hua Xin fleeing.)

She turned back slowly.

(What a friend...)

(He's a bad person 🥺.)

Her small hands hid in her sleeves. Gripping the pen like a mic, she trembled. "Ex..."

"What type do you... most..."

She froze. What was it again? She hadn't heard Xia Yan.

"Bro damn, what's the deal? I'm rushed, man."

The head-covered man feigned impatience. But his ears perked under the mask, waiting.

"Type! Type!" Xia Yan whispered.

"Oh!" Hua Xin remembered. Confidence edged her voice.

"What type of person do you *hate* most!"

"Ah, bro bro—is this a new show? Very meaningful."

He waved his hands, showing off. Then serious:

"I hate girls in Lolita dresses. So weird and fussy. Big petticoats screaming what they wear. Annoying."

Hua Xin: 😲 (Enlightened but clueless.)

Xia Yan: 😨 (Sweating bullets.)

"Thanks for cooperating. Uh... wait here. We'll interview others first. Back soon, handsome."

Xia Yan cut the interview short. He yanked Hua Xin away fast.

"I wait for you, bro."

"M3~"

The man's voice faded. Xia Yan ducked around a corner, watching the phone footage. His lips twitched.

This assignment would shock everyone.

He'd planned "what type you like"—shy group interviews.

Now it'd become enemies colliding.

But thrilling!

Just bolt before they fight 😉.

A smirk curled his lips. He glanced at the culprit.

Hua Xin leaned against the wall, chest out, arms crossed. Proud of herself.

Who called her socially anxious?

Who said that?

Who said that??!!

"Great interview."

"Let's go. Find the next lucky viewer."

Xia Yan encouraged her, not scolding.

(I haven't forgotten your threat...)

She glared darkly at him.

—————

Minutes later.

"Ex-excuse me... what type of person do you hate most?"

Hua Xin was smoother this time. But still stared at the ground.

The Lolita-clad girl peeked at Xia Yan behind her. Delight flashed in her eyes.

"Ahem. I hate scrawny guys. Skinny arms, loud mouths—total street thugs."

The Lolita girl rolled her eyes 🙄, voice dripping disdain.

"OK, thanks. We'll return shortly. Please stay."

Xia Yan stopped recording. Calmly addressed her.

His smile was too dangerous for girls. For Hua Xin's sake, no more risks.

He grabbed Hua Xin's sleeve and fled.

Hua Xin: (Proud.)

—————

Minutes later.

"What do you think of this man in the photo?"

The assignment required all members on camera. Xia Yan held the pen, interviewing a tall, skinny boy in white shorts and tee by the flower bed.

Xia Yan showed him the head-covered man's photo.

The skinny guy frowned. "Ah, this brother—he looks trendy, fun, very..."

Xia Yan: "Be honest."

"Ugly as hell. Not Batman. Like Gray Wolf stealing Slow Sheep's puffy coat."

"Click."

Xia Yan signaled Hua Xin—holding camera and phone—then snatched them away.

(So tired... 😇)

(I want home... 🥺)

Sweat glued her hair to her forehead under mask and clothes. Her face flushed pink.

Her stamina was terrible.

"Join us to finish the show?"

"No problem, bro. I'm a street loafer anyway."

—————

Minutes later.

Head-covered man, Lolita girl, and skinny guy stood together. Staring blankly.

Head-covered man: "M3, sis—nice style."

Lolita girl: "You flatter me! Same to you. Oh, this bro's handsome too."

Skinny guy: "Thanks! You too."

A perfectly harmonious scene 🕊️.

Xia Yan played the recorded clips on his phone.

"I hate girls in Lolita..."

"Ahem—I hate scrawny guys..."

"Ugly as hell. Not Batman. Like Gray Wolf stealing Slow Sheep's..."

Xia Yan: "Successful friendship wins a mystery gift."

He darted to Hua Xin's side.

Head-covered man snapped first, tearing the facade: "What? Who wears Slow Sheep's coat? My headpiece costs half your salary! Damn!"

Skinny guy sneered: "Like gauze."

Head-covered man: 😡

Lolita girl jabbed a finger, furious 😡: "What's wrong with Lolita? Huh?"

"So what?"

"My dress costs more than your whole headpiece collection. That coffin hat hiding your face?"

"Speak human! Stop that cringy slang."

Skinny guy attacked both: "What's wrong with skinny? What's wrong?? 😡"

"Am I eating your rice 'cause I'm thin?"

Lolita girl rolled her eyes: "Pfft. I'd knock you down with one punch. Might gift you rice."

Skinny guy mocked: "Yeah, your size's like an African tank. Tarzan couldn't take your punch."

Lolita girl: 😡

"I'll prove skinny doesn't mean weak!"

He stepped back: "🌿, let's go! (Ignore)"—and flipped backward on the spot.

"My cat flips too. Big deal."

Skinny guy: 😡

Silence fell. They realized something.

They glared at the empty space where two had stood. Snorted coldly. Walked off separately.

(One minute earlier.) ↓

"Go! Run!"

Xia Yan killed the recordings. He dragged Hua Xin toward the motorcycle.

Laughter sparkled in his eyes.

Sorry, but...

Stars glittered in the girl's eyes. For the second time outside, she smiled.

Xia Yan's so evil.

But...

Watching the drama 🍉...

It's just...

So damn fun wow!!! 😆
