The next morning, as the sun rose, the forest brimmed with life again. Cuckoo birds chirped from nearby branches, their calls echoing through the trees.

Lena, still asleep, frowned deeply. Her closed eyes trembled slightly, her expression pained. Slowly, she opened them, scanning her surroundings—a tent. A weight pressed on her chest. Quietly, she pulled back the blanket.

To her left, the boy Kuber slept soundly on her breast, even licking his lips. To her right, the cute little werewolf clung tightly in sleep. Lena said nothing. She pulled the blanket back up, hand on her forehead. Dizziness hit her. How did this happen?

A sharp pain flashed as memories surged back—the moment before she lost consciousness. The image of a youth stepping from the Teleportation Portal filled her mind. So he saved her?

Recalling her near-death feeling, Lena’s heart raced. Footsteps approached outside. A stunningly beautiful woman appeared—Acrina. Seeing Lena awake, Acrina smiled gently and shook Kuber under the blanket.

"Master, breakfast ingredients are ready."

"Oh, got it~~~~~~." Kuber yawned, stretching. He spotted Lena awake. "How’re you feeling?"

"Huh? Yeah… fine." Lena nodded dizzily. Her hand instinctively touched her neck wound—but found smooth skin. No scars. She gasped, checking her body. All her ugly scars had vanished. "This… what happened?"

She couldn’t believe it was her own body, touching it everywhere. Kuber grinned. "Free scar removal service. Pretty good, huh?"

"Scar… removal??" Lena was stunned. No healing magic or potion erased scars like this. But his impossible power made it plausible. "Th-thank you, Lord Kuber." She almost knelt in gratitude, but her nakedness held her back.

"Don’t thank me. Thank your chest."

"Chest??" Lena’s mind reeled. What did her chest have to do with it? Kuber dropped that cryptic line, dressed, and left with Acrina. Lena quickly armored up and followed.

Outside, Kuber stretched, breathing deep the crisp morning air. Dawn always energized him. After a quick wash, he cleared a spot. Wood flew from his storage space. A fireball ignited it. He set an iron pot, added oil, and heated it.

With a knife, he gutted and scaled the crucian carp Acrina caught. Cleaned fish sizzled golden in the pot. He added scallions, ginger, water, cooking wine. Simmered until the broth turned milky white. Salt and pepper finished it—a steaming pot of fish soup.

His movements flowed smoothly. Lena and Acrina watched, wide-eyed. The aroma made them swallow hard. Acrina, a monster, usually ate raw. Lena survived on dried rations. Neither expected Kuber’s cooking skills.

A Luo, napping inside, smelled it and rushed out. All three stared as Kuber ladled soup, blew on it, and slurped a sip.

"Good?" A Luo asked eagerly.

"Delicious!" Kuber smacked his lips. He guessed some hidden skill like "Cooking Mastery" must be in his vast skill tree.

"I want some too!"

"Whoa, don’t grab!"

In minutes, the four devoured every drop and scrap. Sitting together, they sighed in contentment. Full and lazy, Kuber scrapped travel plans.

"Ah~ nap time. Hands up who agrees!"

"Me! Me!" A Luo cheered. Acrina raised her hand too—her master’s word was law. They dashed into the tent.

"Huh? Wait—" Lena stood bewildered. Blushing, she reluctantly followed inside.
