Not far from the village lay a small lake with crystal-clear water. A gentle breeze rippled across its surface, scattering diamonds of light. Kuber carried Lena’s body to the lakeshore and waded in, washing away the grime and blood that stained her skin.

Stripping off her armor, Kuber discovered Lena wasn’t as delicate as she appeared. Though a woman, her bare form was crisscrossed with scars—burns, stab wounds, old gashes. His fingers traced their rough, raised edges, a stark contrast to the smooth skin between them. It was hard to imagine this woman, who looked barely twenty, surviving so many brutal battles.

His gaze lingered on the full, ripe curves of her chest. Among all the women he’d known, Lena’s were unmatched—not just for their size, but their perfect proportion, firm yet yielding grace.

*Hah…*

He drew a deep breath. The appraisal ended there. Kuber quelled the heat in his lower belly and pressed his palm over the wound on Lena’s neck. Pure white light radiated from his hand. A soft *hiss* sounded—the gash sealed instantly, leaving no trace.

His hand glided slowly over her body. Where it passed, the savage scars vanished as if erased. Soon, not a single mark remained on Lena’s skin. Instead, it glowed porcelain-pale, supple and resilient.

Kuber nodded, satisfied. Floating on the lake like a Sleeping Beauty, Lena now awaited rebirth.

Resurrection magic ranked among the world’s most difficult spells. Few could wield it—and those revived often suffered a complete level reset. But Kuber’s rare art, *Hymn*, demanded only vast mana. For him, that was no obstacle. And its greatest gift? No level loss.

Settling cross-legged on the water’s surface, Kuber cleared his throat. Eyes closed, hands clasped reverently at his chest, he began to chant.

A heavenly melody broke the lake’s silence—ethereal, profound. Light erupted across the water. A colossal hexagram magic circle materialized beneath him, spinning slowly. Countless luminous sprites burst forth, dancing to his song, weaving through the air in dazzling spirals.

At the circle’s heart, Kuber sang on, eyes shut, posture devout. Bathed in white radiance and flitting sprites, his androgynous beauty now seemed truly divine—a Holy Maiden incarnate.

As the song swelled, motes of light above the circle coalesced into snow-white feathers. They drifted downward, gathering into the form of a colossal angel with twelve majestic wings.

On the shore, A Luo gasped at the sight—but Acrina clamped a hand over her mouth just in time.

The angel hovered, gazing down at Kuber with human-like tenderness. With a gentle wave, a sphere of light floated down, sinking into Lena’s chest.

Kuber opened his eyes. The song ceased. The lake stilled.
