I lifted my teacup and took a small sip to moisten my throat. A delicate fragrance filled my mouth, but I wasn’t particularly fond of tea—so even though it was premium-grade leaves, I only took a sip.
*Clack-clack-clack.*
Suddenly, sharp clicking sounds echoed from outside—definitely high heels striking the floor.
True enough, a beautiful woman in a purple dress burst through the door. One hand gripped the doorknob; the other braced against her thigh as she panted, scanning the room breathlessly. Her gaze locked onto me instantly.
This woman was Elsa Yven—Sephina’s mother and one of the few who knew my true strength.
*Wait—seriously?! Why are her eyes glowing green?!*
Like a starving beast, she lunged at me and crushed me against her chest.
“Oh, my little Kuber! Where have you been?! You silly boy—why didn’t you come to me?”
No wonder she’s Sephina’s mother. Her ample bosom was suffocating—her curves put Sephina’s to shame.
“If you don’t let go,” I wheezed, “your ‘little Kuber’ is going to suffocate in your cleavage.”
“Ah! Forgive me, darling—I was just so overjoyed!”
Elsa finally released me. *Twice in one day nearly smothered by breasts. What an achievement.*
“Hello, little Nina.”
“Good evening, Mrs. Yven.”
Elsa smiled warmly at Nina, who bowed slightly in reply.
I’d planned to stay a while longer, but a bad feeling prickled at me as I watched Elsa. I stood up.
“Thank you for the tea, Mrs. Yven—it was excellent. But I must take my leave. I have matters to attend to.”
I turned toward the door—only to feel Elsa’s hand clamp onto my wrist.
“Dinner includes your favorite,” she purred, eyes glinting slyly. “*Phantom Fruit* juice. As much as you want.”
I swallowed hard. Between chastity and *Phantom Fruit* juice… I chose the juice.
………………
After a lavish dinner, Nina guided my dizzy, juice-soaked self to the bedroom. I collapsed onto the plush bed.
*Phantom Fruit* juice was divine. This blissful dizziness had me floating on air—no thoughts, only warmth. For a hazy moment, I even glimpsed my past life: my parents, sisters, friends… all smiling at me.
Nina had slipped away unnoticed. A door creaked open. Elsa stood there in a sheer nightgown, wearing a triumphant smirk as she approached.
No need for excessive detail. A summary suffices:
Me: *“Battle Tornado!”*
Elsa: *“Ah~!”*
Me: *“Gaia Energy Cannon!”*
Elsa: *“Mmm~ Heavenly Gate~”*
After the vigorous “exercise,” my head cleared.
I rubbed my face hard, staring at Elsa beside me.
“Satisfied?”
“Absolutely…” She nuzzled my cheek, beaming. “I love you, Kuber.”
“Seriously, Kuber,” she murmured, tracing my jaw. “Won’t you consider marrying into our family? You’ve always loved comfort. Marry Sephina, and you can return to your old life—no more grueling adventurer work.”
“Marry that airhead? No thanks. I see her as a sister. And I’m not pathetic enough to live off a woman.”
“How terribly chauvinistic~”
“Enough.” I cut her off. “Where’s my father? You were his business partner—you must know something. If I find him, I can go back to how things were.”
Elsa’s smile faded. “I’m afraid even I don’t know this time. Half a month ago, he abruptly transferred all his assets to me… then vanished.”
“I see.”
Disappointment gnawed at me. At least it confirmed his disappearance was planned. *What could’ve forced him to liquidate everything—even abandon his own son?*
I pulled out a card and handed it to her. She examined it, puzzled.
“What’s this?”
“A custom magic messenger card. You know I’m an adventurer now. If trouble arises, contact me through this.” I smirked. “Rates are steep, though.”
“Can’t I call just to see you?” Her eyes pleaded.
*Dream on. I’m not a boy-for-hire.*
“Try it, and I’ll revoke it.”
Elsa pouted but carefully tucked the card away.
