Late at night, Su Shui was snoring on the couch.

Rustle, rustle~

The sound of rummaging jolted Su Shui awake. He groggily opened his eyes.

"What's that noise?" he thought hazily. Rolling over, he spotted a shadowy figure.

The guy wasn't tall, skinny. Bent over, rummaging through stuff.

"Great! Stealing from me, huh?"

Su Shui propped himself up, ready to get off the couch and show this kid his terror.

"No!" He slowly lay back down, not daring to make a sound. "What if he's armed?"

Lying there, he squinted at the figure.

"If he's armed, it's over. Better wait until he leaves!"

Su Shui held his breath, sneaking glances to make out the face.

The guy rummaged in the living room for ages, seemingly not finding what he wanted, then headed toward the side.

"Good, just leave my house!"

Su Shui mentally revved an engine for him to hurry up and leave.

But the guy turned and headed straight for the bedroom.

Su Shui's heart sank. His wife and sister were sleeping in there!

"Hey, you! Stop right there!" Su Shui leaped behind the kid, forgetting about weapons.

"I'm warning you! Stay away from here!"

Gathering his courage, Su Shui grabbed him.

"Brother-in-law~"

"Huh?"

Su Shui turned on the light. It was Lin Feng standing there.

"What are you doing, kid? I thought a burglar broke in!"

"Brother-in-law, got any medicine? My stomach hurts!" Lin Feng clutched his belly, frowning.

"Yeah, wait here~" Su Shui made him sit on the couch and went to fetch medicine.

"Xiao Feng, come take..." Holding hot water and pills, as he entered the living room, he heard

Clang~ Clatter~

"Damn it, you brat!" Su Shui rushed over and snatched back his blanket. "You didn't poop here, did you?"

"No, no~" Lin Feng said awkwardly.

Su Shui looked at the blanket. It seemed to emit a weird smell.

"Alright, just take the medicine!" Su Shui shoved the pills into Lin Feng's hand and sprayed air freshener on the blanket.

"Thanks, brother-in-law~"

Lin Feng murmured, sipping the hot water slowly.

"Okay, feeling better?"

"Much better!"

"Then go back to sleep~"

Lin Feng walked back to his room with the water. Su Shui sat there, staring at the messy living room.

"I should've made him clean up!"

Though he said that, Su Shui couldn't bear to wake the kid.

He hastily tidied up. Su Shui was so sleepy his eyelids drooped.

But as soon as he lay down, his stomach burned like fire.

"I'm... hungry!"

Sitting in the dark, making instant noodles, Su Shui decided Lin Feng would get no food tomorrow!

"Sleep!"

Full and satisfied, Su Shui drifted back to sleep~

Su Shui felt like a bug crawling in his nose, itchy.

A big sneeze woke him up. He looked around dazedly.

Pitch black. Su Shui rolled over to sleep again.

"Ah, you're lying on my hair!"

"Oh~"

Su Shui expertly gathered the long hair from under him and placed it on his head.

Rolling over again, he hugged his wife's fragrant body.

"Wait!" After a moment, Su Shui remembered. "I was sleeping on the couch alone!"

Opening his eyes, he saw Lin Ning's big, watery eyes.

"Whoa, how did you—"

"Shh~" Lin Ning pressed a finger to his lips. "Quiet, Xiao Qing is still asleep~"

Looking at her lips, Su Shui planted a smacking kiss on them.

"Sleep!"

Su Shui draped his leg over Lin Ning, hugging her to sleep.

"Hey!" Lin Ning pushed him. "Don't sleep yet! I have to go back! If Xiao Qing finds out in the morning, who knows what she'll say!"

"Annoying!"

Su Shui pouted like a baby, turning his back on her.

"Tell me how Xiao Qing found out about our divorce!"

"Good night, wife~"

Su Shui quickly hugged Lin Ning, closing his eyes to dodge the question.

"Don't pretend to sleep!" Lin Ning drew circles on his belly.

"Hehe, that tickles, wife!!" Su Shui retaliated, tickling her armpits.

"Hahaha~ You rascal!"

The two childish fools lay there, tickling each other.

"So you can't dodge it!" Lin Ning panted, smiling at him.

"It just slipped out!" Su Shui whined pitifully.

"What to do then? What if Xiao Qing slips up in front of our parents..."

Su Shui imagined his parents finding out he divorced their precious daughter-in-law...

Lin Ning started to get up. Su Shui felt reluctant.

Lin Ning turned toward the bedroom. Su Shui watched her dejectedly.

"Honestly, you~" Lin Ning sighed, walking back. She gently kissed his forehead. "Sleep now~"

Su Qing stepped on Su Shui's face with her little feet, squishing it into funny shapes.

"Seriously, what time is it!"

Su Shui rubbed his eyes, looking at the dimly lit window.

Seizing the chance, Su Qing whooshed into his blanket and hugged him tightly.

"Gently, gently~"

Su Shui gasped for air, patting her arm to beg for mercy.

"Seriously, keep it down! Sister Ning is still sleeping~"

She made a shushing gesture. Su Shui felt like he'd heard this line before.

Damn, Lin Ning just said the same thing! And you still came out! he thought.

"So, Xiao Qing, why did you come out~"

"Can't I just come to see you?" Su Qing turned her head, pouting.

Su Shui wanted to say, "Little miss, who visits at 3 AM?"

"Well, you watch then, I'm sleeping~"

"You dare!"

"Just kidding, just kidding~" Su Shui chuckled nervously.

"You promised I could move in, no backing out!" Su Qing hugged him, whispering in his ear.

"Got it~ I guarantee it!"

"That's better~"

Su Qing nuzzled her head in his chest, taking a deep breath.

"Alright, I should go before I'm caught~"

Though she said that, Su Qing still snuggled in his arms.

"If only it could stay like this~"

She kissed his cheek lightly and reluctantly walked back to the bedroom.

"Finally, I can sleep!" Su Shui hugged the blanket and drifted off.
