"Hurry up, get up! It's your first day of school—don't be late!"

Su Shui and Lin Ning stood by Lin Feng's bed at six in the morning, gently shaking him.

"Mmm~" Lin Feng opened his eyes to find two faces hovering over him.

"Whoa!" He jumped. "What are you two doing?!"

Su Shui wore a pink apron, spatula in hand. Lin Ning held his backpack in one hand and his clothes in the other.

Lin Feng had never been treated like this at home. Flustered, he took the clothes and backpack.

"Are you two planning to watch me change?!"

He got up and pushed them out of the room. Glancing at the clock, it was just six a.m.

At the dining table, Lin Feng sat yawning. Su Shui's lovingly prepared breakfast sat before him.

"Eat up," Lin Ning said, biting into a fried egg. "Su Shui will drive you to school after."

Su Shui emerged from the kitchen with three cups of hot milk, still in his apron, and sat down.

Watching Lin Feng slowly nibble his bread, Su Shui frowned. "Xiao Feng, if anything feels off at school, you must tell me!"

"Yes," Lin Ning added. "Get along well with your classmates!"

"And listen in class—teachers know best~"

"If the cafeteria food bothers you, tell me. Your brother-in-law will cook for you."

...

The couple fussed like parents on a child's first school day.

At first, Lin Feng humored them. But their endless chatter about meals, clothes, and routines wore him down.

"Enough! I'm eighteen—stop acting like my parents!" he snapped.

Su Shui and Lin Ning exchanged a smile.

"Sigh," Su Shui murmured, chin propped on his hand. "If we had a kid, would we be like this on their first day?"

"Tch, who wants kids with you~" Lin Ning shot him a tsundere glare, hiding her smile.

"Don't say that. Mom’s eager for grandkids—we should try~"

"Shut up! Xiao Feng’s here!"

"Hehe, boy or girl? I want a daughter—so cute~"

"One of each. They’d keep each other company~"

...

...

Lin Feng bit his bread fiercely. *Not only do I have to wake up early, but I get front-row seats to their love show too.*

"I’m full!" He slammed the table and stormed to his room.

Su Shui waved absently. "Go ahead~"

...

...

"Hello everyone, I’m Lin Feng. Starting today, I’ll study with you all. Please take care of me!"

Lin Feng bowed listlessly from the podium. Glancing sideways, he spotted Lin Ning and Su Shui pressed against the classroom door’s glass, spying on him.

*Seriously, weren’t they busy flirting at home?* He ignored them and stepped down.

"Lin Feng, take the empty seat at the back," the homeroom teacher announced. The bespectacled old man resembled the principal, trembling as he pointed with a teaching rod.

"Seats are assigned by grades. If you dislike it, wait for the next exam~"

Lin Feng didn’t care—he’d already mastered the material. Backpack slung over his shoulder, he walked to the last row. Every eye followed him.

Girls swooned over his handsome face. Among crew-cut students, his golden hair glowed like a firefly in midnight.

Boys split into two camps: the average-looking ones shrugged it off, while the handsome ones felt threatened.

Lin Feng ignored them all, sliding into the window seat.

"Class begins now!" The teacher tapped the blackboard, reclaiming attention.

...

...

The couple had promised not to follow Lin Feng. But after he left, they stood on the balcony, watching anxiously.

"Should we... sneak after him?" Su Shui suggested. He turned to find Lin Ning already dressed.

"Let’s go!"

They tailed Lin Feng by car, hearts pounding, terrified of being spotted.

He entered the school gates. Still worried, they followed inside.

"You two—aren’t students!" the guard barked.

Su Shui and Lin Ning froze.

"What’s your business here?" The guard’s face hardened.

"We’re parents here to see the principal."

"Prove it."

"I have his number—I’ll call him now!" Su Shui dialed frantically. After a long fuss, they were admitted.

"Where’s Xiao Feng?!"

...

"Look at him—he seems so tired~" Su Shui whispered, peering through the glass.

"Your fault for waking him early."

"You agreed too~"

They bickered while passersby stared at the couple glued to the window.

"Hey! Why’s Xiao Feng in the back row?" Lin Ning frowned.

"The teacher said seats are grade-based!"

"Oh." She nodded. "Will his hairstyle cause trouble?"

"Don’t worry—I cleared it with the principal."

They lingered until a tap landed on Su Shui’s shoulder.

"Hello? What are—" He turned to see a petite girl standing on tiptoe.

His gaze snagged on her ample bust.

"Hello!" Su Shui straightened, all seriousness. "My brother just transferred—I’m just worried~"

"Oh, I’m Zhang Qingyu, the English teacher here."

"You’re a teacher?!" Su Shui gaped. "I thought you were a student!"

"Haha, you flatter me. I graduated two years ago."

"I’m Su Shui. Which university? I graduated recently—we might be alumni~"

He flirted obliviously, forgetting Lin Ning behind him. Years indoors had dulled his caution.

Lin Ning watched his lecherous stare at Zhang Qingyu’s chest.

"And this is—" Zhang Qingyu felt a sharp gaze, looked up, and met Lin Ning’s eyes.

"My w—wife!" Lin Ning pinched Su Shui’s waist. He yelped.

*Ring ring ring!*

The bell cut through the tension. Zhang Qingyu nodded politely and entered the classroom.

Only then did Lin Ning release her pinch.

"Enjoy the view?" she asked coldly.

"Ouch~" Su Shui rubbed his waist, edging toward her.

Lin Ning turned away.

"Wife, wait! Don’t go!"
