Chapter 2: The Calamity Witch Truly Has
update icon Updated at 2025/12/10 17:30:55

After a long internal struggle and brief moment of pleasure, Xia Xin could only accept her new reality as a transmigrator.

Sure, her new identity was a wicked Sorceress—public enemy number one across all races, a target for both Hero and Demon King to eliminate. But at least… at least…

She was pretty damn good-looking, right?

What good did that do her?!

She wasn’t actually a Lust Sorceress! She couldn’t just bribe women with her body!

Besides, judging by a certain… lack of volume up top… tch. Damn it. Now only her face was worth anything.

Fuming, Xia Xin started stroking her own thighs.

Staring at her modest chest, she decided these long legs were the only thing offering her a trace of comfort.

Wait—if she was the hidden Calamity Witch now, her power level must be insane, right?

And that backstory bit about "deceiving the Demon King and stealing half his treasure"…

*Heh heh heh.* If that treasure really existed, she could retire forever. Maybe even keep a few cute girls on retainer… *Heh heh heh…*

Since this world functioned like a game, Xia Xin clearly saw her status screen and inventory—a semi-transparent UI hovering before her eyes.

Then she froze.

Her backpack was cleaner than an empty Lay’s chips bag. Nothing but air and two copper coins. Not even a spare pair of stockings.

*Damn system!* Did you pocket all my starting perks?!

What about stats? At least give me normal character data!

**[Name: Xia Xin]**

**[Gender: Female]**

**[Age: 18 (True age unknown)]**

**[Race: Demonfolk · Blood Clan]**

**[Class: Calamity Witch (Your infamy has cemented this as your unique title)]**

**[Title: Calamity · Deceit · Plague · Famine · Death · War · Pride · Envy · Wrath · Sloth · Greed · Gluttony · Lust Sorceress]**

**[Status: Hungry]**

**[Level: Lv.90]**

**[Skill: All Magic Lv.Max (A Calamity Witch wields magic effortlessly—annihilating a city is trivial. Whether *you* can use it is another matter.)]**

**[Trait I: Sorceress Physique (Fragile body, but immune to all mental interference and anti-magic effects.)]**

**[Trait II: Calamity Witch (Your atrocities are legendary—from the capital to the Abyss. Hostility from nearly all beings maxes at 90/100.)]**

**[Trait III: Lust Sorceress (Your presence subtly draws same-sex attention. Some women hate you yet crave your body, dreaming of turning you into a perpetually needy velvet pet.)]**

What the hell was this?!

Ignoring the absurd two-line title, two of her three traits were crippling debuffs—especially that *Lust Sorceress* one…

This wasn’t right! This was *not* right!

The only comfort was Trait I: at least she couldn’t be brainwashed or… *violated*.

Thank god for small mercies in an eroge world.

Her level was decently high, at least.

As the Calamity Witch, she *should* be overpowered.

But when she tried channeling magic? Total failure. She couldn’t even figure out how to *activate* skills.

Yet she felt immense power coiled inside her—like having a nuke with no launch button.

Pathetic.

Glancing at her status… yeah, she *was* hungry now.

But with only two copper coins—the lowest currency, barely worth a crust of bread in any RPG—

*Where was that "half the Demon King’s treasure" from my backstory?!*

So frustrating.

*Ugh… stomach growling… not a single coin…*

In a world built on adult games, the fastest way to earn money seemed obvious…

*No!* Xia Xin might be a triple-A scumbag who peeked at her roommate’s shower, but she had *standards*. She’d never do *that*!

…Unless the client was a Hero or Demon King with god-tier looks, maybe.

*Whimper…* Hunger drowned out morals. Time to check the town.

She couldn’t exactly dig mushrooms by the roadside.

Right—considering the world’s hatred for "Calamity Witches," a disguise was essential.

Xia Xin pulled up her hood, tugged her collar over her mouth, and ducked her head. Perfect cover.

…Though the short coat left her midriff exposed to the chilly wind.

The town wasn’t far. Smoke curled above the treetops. Minutes later, she stepped out of the forest.

A notification popped up:

**[Nobles Town]**

**[A perfectly ordinary settlement.]**

Medieval European architecture—predictable for an RPG eroge. Golden-haired, blue-eyed NPCs bustled about.

"Mmm… something smells amazing…" Xia Xin’s nose twitched. Her feet carried her toward the scent.

A bakery.

"Finest bread in town! Three silver coins each, ten for three! Don’t miss out!"

*Three silvers per loaf?!* Was the crust gilded? Or the filling solid gold?

She clutched her two copper coins. They wouldn’t buy a bread *crumb*.

Still, she approached.

Behind the counter stood a tiny loli, tiptoeing to arrange shelves.

Four-foot-nothing. Silver hair. Sky-blue eyes. A gentle smile on her plain-dressed frame—pure innocence radiating from her.

*So cute…*

Xia Xin was a *proper* person. She had zero weakness for lolis! …Okay, maybe she’d *adopt* her. But attraction? Absolutely not.

*Yeah. Totally normal. I’m very normal!*
