Spells ranked one to three were common magic—first level being apprentice-tier.

With Feier’s Animal Detection, spotting deer, boars, or wolves hidden in the dense woods became effortless. Though the low-tier spell couldn’t detect monsters or magical beasts.

"Five hundred meters that way. A large animal. Likely a boar," Feier reported.

Following her lead, they reached a hillside. Sure enough, a massive black boar—easily over two hundred pounds—rooted by the riverbank fifty meters away.

Feier raised her oak staff. Fire elementals swirled like stars around its tip as she chanted silently.

"Flame—"

"Wait!" Lin Luo grabbed her staff urgently.
