"What... is this."

The dragon's roar, as if piercing the starry heavens, boomed and echoed through the vast underground palace.

Kaspar, clad in a blood-red robe, involuntarily stepped back. Utter disbelief flooded his face.

The explosive roar sent a shiver surging from his very soul. He turned and froze—Lyn's left eye, not far away, blazed with magnificent starlight, resonating with some unseen power.

The entire underground base trembled slightly under an invisible, oppressive force. That power seemed to slowly emerge from a deeper world, profound and hellish like an abyss.

Illusory starlight continuously poured from the endless void, resonating with Lyn.

Kaspar was shocked to find his inner magic suppressed. The black crystals he summoned could no longer steal the life force spilling from the boy. Crimson mist swirling in the base vibrated in the void, gathering toward one direction.

Watching the blood mist vanish, feeling that impossible power link to Lyn's body, a trace of ferocity twisted Kaspar's eerie face. With a maniacal glare, he snarled at Lyn, "What have you done?!!!"

He lunged suddenly. Lyn's cold, emotionless stare filled him with fear—he wanted to gouge out this bastard's eyes. How dare he look down on him like that?!

But in that instant, the illusory light covering Lyn wove a strange barrier, violently repelling him.

Then, even greater power surged behind him—countless radiant lines sketching mid-air. They formed a splendid magic array, unfolding like a starry scroll.

Lyn had already looked away from the frenzied Kaspar. He watched the array with eager anticipation, waiting for the ancient, evil being he'd summoned. It would fight for him, uphold his Demon King's name, and gather more sins.

"With so many sins gathered," Lyn thought hopefully, "even if I can't summon a great one like Cthulhu, I should get at least a little Cthulhu Jr., right?"

The system's voice rang in his mind: "Contract—Starry Dragon, completed."

Lyn: "?"

Starry Dragon? What evil creature was this? It didn't sound right.

But he had no time to think. The moment starlight connected him to the array, Lyn felt a faint bond form with the being awakening within. He sensed its emotions—excitement, longing, as if it had waited eons for him. The connection merged into his soul, seamless as water blending with milk.

At that moment, a slender, beautiful figure emerged from the starry array.

Her silver hair flowed like silk, faint starlight dancing around her. Her face was pure and flawless, sacred yet majestic. Silver dragon horns crowned her head. Golden eyes held the sun's heat, starlight glimmering at their corners.

Her slender body glowed within a halo of scorching starlight. Soft armor formed from light covered her ample chest, leading to a shimmering battle skirt. Black stockings wrapped her long legs, starry patterns burning along them. Delicate feet vanished into tall boots, also sheathed in black.

She was breathtakingly beautiful, radiating inviolable dignity. Her awakened aura awed everyone below. Even Lyn, expecting an evil warlord, stood frozen—staring at beauty so intense it hurt, yet impossible to look away from.

"How can such a creature exist?" Kaspar whispered. His body trembled uncontrollably, nearly buckling to his knees. Fear mixed with fanatic greed in his crimson eyes.

Then he saw her gaze fixed entirely on the Belmond Family's waste. His face twisted with jealousy and hatred.

The moment she spotted Lyn, her majestic eyes flickered with melting warmth. But instantly, she saw his wounds—his pierced abdomen, blood streaming freely.

"BOOM!!!"

Like a volcanic eruption, terrifying pressure swept the palace like a hurricane. Kaspar finally caught her attention. He met her beautiful eyes—but they blazed with flames that would burn the world to ash.

"...No." Kaspar's face drained of color as primal fear erupted under her killing intent. It was the terror of a supreme being's gaze, a law-level suppression.

He spun to flee, lips chanting an ancient spell. But he only twisted his body when scorching starlight descended.

"Crack."

Like a divine spear, a beam of condensed starlight shot from the girl. It pierced the ground, drilling deep underground. Kaspar, engulfed by the light, evaporated without a sound—his evil legacies unused.

The girl glanced indifferently at the crater and the wisp of smoke. Confirming his death, she floated down.

"Are you my master?" Her voice wasn't cold or domineering as Lyn expected. It held a hint of nervousness.

Her voice was truly beautiful. Lyn's mind blanked with that thought, then flooded with confusion... Why had his evil sacrificial array summoned an angelic beauty? Could such a girl be made of anger, jealousy, pride, lust...?

Before he could ponder, the starlight on her vanished. Her goddess-like aura disappeared. Lyn's pupils trembled violently.

Because when the light faded... it wasn't just her sacredness that vanished.

—Like her starlight-illusion dress.

Unaware, the girl leaned close to Lyn. She twitched her cute nose, sniffing him curiously. Her eyes sparkled like a newly adopted kitten's.

Crap!

Evil! Evil!!

This girl... she was just too big, too white, too evil!

Lyn's body trembled uncontrollably.

Lust +1, Lust +1, Lust +1...

System notifications flooded his vision.

Seeing this, the girl panicked. "Master, you're bleeding again!?"

Lyn's gaze wavered. A faint, unnatural flush colored his pale cheeks. His weak body bent further as he clutched his nose—blood seeped through his fingers.

Before he could react, he saw her move closer. His heart lurched; he stepped back instinctively.

"Y-you... don't come near me!" His voice cracked. If she approached, he'd collapse—he was already low on blood. It surged to strange places, disrupting his vampire healing.

"Master, do you hate me?" Her eyes widened, tears welling. Instead of retreating, she lunged at him like a wronged child seeking comfort.

Lyn saw her push off—cracking the floor, her body blurring into motion. He felt pure despair.

"Wai—"

He only managed that word.

"Thud."

The next instant, the boy flew backward like a cannonball.

Damn.

That was the last thought in Lyn's mind before darkness swallowed him. He felt like a dump truck had hit him again.

Anger +1!
