The wind surged with the girl’s chant, dark clouds gathering above her head.

In the next moment, as Luo Yu’s mind wavered, a light rain began falling on the grass. Droplets pattered against her bare torso and head.

Luo Yu’s long hair, reaching her buttocks, grew soaked.

“?” She looked up at the sky, tilting her head slightly, puzzled. “Why’s it raining?”

“It’s not rain,” the Training Dummy explained, shielding naked Luo Yu with its broad body. “Your Majesty, you just chanted a rain-summoning spell. It caused a localized drizzle.”

“Ding Zhen?” Luo Yu frowned.

“Has Your Majesty never attended magic classes?” the Training Dummy asked. “Every mage must memorize the meanings of ancient chant characters.”

“…Ah, that.” Luo Yu’s face flushed red. She turned away. “Hmph. I wouldn’t expect a robot like you to get it. I studied ancient scripts for years and learned nothing.”

“The Fairy Kind excel at elements,” the Training Dummy continued. “They have innate talent for natural mediums. Though Your Majesty’s bloodline is thin, your ability to chant magic shows potential.”

“Elements?” Luo Yu fell silent again.

“Mages use mana to twist nature through mediums,” the Training Dummy said. “Basic elements include fire, earth, water droplets…”

“Oh oh!” Luo Yu’s eyes lit up. “So I, Your Majesty, can trigger elemental reactions like in Genshin Impact?”

Training Dummy: “Huh?”

“You’re clueless,” Luo Yu said, hands on hips. She suppressed a grin, recalling her past life’s favorite game. “Elements mix to create reactions! Water and grass make a grassland core. Fire ignites grass for combustion. Apply ignition, then water on fire for double damage…”

Training Dummy: “…”

“Why silent?” Luo Yu pressed. “Stunned by my boundless wisdom?” She chattered on. “In my past life, I adored Genshin Impact. Played twelve hours daily. Sadly, this world has no computers yet…”

The Training Dummy’s thoughts stalled. “Your Majesty… did you mix up worldviews again?”

“Sigh.” Luo Yu’s gaze turned fierce, eyes gleaming. “You robots grasp magic so shallowly. Elemental reaction theory is profound! I spent years building over a dozen level-60 Genshin accounts…”

Training Dummy: “…”

The girl’s face glowed as she rambled, spittle flying onto the Training Dummy’s face.

The future, like the band-aid she used instead of underwear, would lose its lewd promise once torn away.

As dusk fell, Luo Yu leaned against the Training Dummy’s cold chest, drifting into restless sleep. She muttered and occasionally elbowed it.

The Training Dummy studied her delicate face. Two faint droplets glistened near her eyes. It wiped them—tears, not rain.

“Your Majesty,” it murmured, ruby eyes flickering. “You were truly happy today.”

Blessed by the Demonic God, the Training Dummy’s core housed computational spells. It analyzed events like a brain, feeling simple emotions—sadness, joy, anger.

It believed it understood the girl in its arms. After fifteen worthless years, she’d cast her first spell today. Something to boast about. Pure joy.

But without a miracle, her thin Fairy Kind bloodline couldn’t fix a life nearing ruin. Nobles honed their bloodlines young, hunting monsters by adulthood. Luo Yu’s bloodline clashed with her body, as if forced in, causing unknown harm. Development seemed impossible.

So the Training Dummy knew she’d still assassinate the human Champion by month’s end. It didn’t know how she’d evade the Melan family’s Demon Realm surveillance, or approach the Champion. Only that she’d go. Near suicide.

Who’d help? No one. Only the Headmistress cared—a Highborn Demon too frail to walk.

The Training Dummy sank into thought. For the first time since its creation millennia ago, it reflected freely, beyond Demonic God commands.

Unaware the girl had woken and slipped away.

Luo Yu stared, wide-eyed, at the pensive dummy.

“Huh?” It snapped upright.

“Robots get depressed?” Her young worldview shattered.

“…”

“Your mentality’s lacking, robot,” Luo Yu shrugged, patting its forehead. “Be like Your Majesty: stand like a pine, sit like a bell, move like wind…”

“Leaving, Your Majesty?” The Training Dummy watched her naked swagger in the wind. “It’s late.”

“Mm.” Luo Yu nodded, a sly grin spreading. “Time to show off. Give those Lower Demon brats a tiny bloodline shock.”

“…” The Training Dummy handed her clothes. It watched her dress, slipping small feet into black stockings.

Dressed, Luo Yu turned to leave—then stopped.

“Almost forgot.” She dashed back, jumped, and patted the dummy’s forehead. “Robot, you helped me find this cheat ability first. Indispensable!”

“A reward?” The Training Dummy blinked.

“Mm.” Luo Yu beamed. “I’ll own everything soon. Ask anything: rule the Demon Realm? Endless beauties? What’s your orientation? Male or female… ahem, I have it all.”

“…”

“Sorry, Your Majesty,” the Training Dummy shook its head. “Training Dummies have no desires. We exist only to serve…”

“Playing mysterious?” Luo Yu kicked its knee. Chin in hand, she grinned. “Hehe. I know what you want.”

She squatted, reached under herself—*rip*—pulling off a band-aid with stray hairs, reeking of her scent.

Training Dummy: “Huh?”

“You’ll love this.” She stuck it over a gash on its body, stepped back, and spun around. “Listen, robot. I never give gifts this precious. Cherish it.”

“…Mm.”

“Bye. Training in a few days.” Luo Yu left without looking back.

The Training Dummy stared at the band-aid. It pulled tape from its belly, wrapping the gift securely. Then it squatted again, lost in thought.
