"I never expected someone so beautiful to have such a fiery temper." Bai Yi vanished instantly with Princess Bai Xing in her arms. Tran’s club slammed down, shattering only the ground.

"Even though you’re S Rank too, your high attack power alone isn’t enough. Without a domain, you can’t fight us SS Rankers." Bai Yi’s voice came from behind Tran. She vanished again. A pink fist smashed the spot where she’d stood, cratering the floor and nearly punching a hole through the roof. "Heh, ambushing from behind isn’t a good habit!" Bai Yi teleported to another spot.

Only Ada could shatter the ground with a single punch. She stood up, gazing at the white-haired girl. "Bai Yi, SS Rank powerhouse of the White Emperor Kingdom. Do you even know where you are? How dare you snatch people here? Aren’t you afraid you won’t leave Tech City alive?"

"Oh? Aren’t you the prodigy from the Neutral Zone? An A Ranker holding his own against SS Rank… truly terrifying!" Bai Yi extended her right hand, creating a spatial rift. She tossed Bai Xing inside. "See? The princess is mine. Now I just need to escape." Bai Yi vanished, reappearing beside Ada. A dagger stabbed toward her.

Ada sidestepped, spun, and threw a punch. The force rippled the surrounding space. Beneath her feet, the ground collapsed.

"As terrifying as ever. Is your ability really just A Rank?" A spatial rift appeared before Bai Yi, swallowing Ada’s fist. Simultaneously, a rift opened behind Tran. Ada’s punch shot toward the back of his head.

"Tran!" Ada realized her attack was off. But she’d aimed for a kill shot—now she couldn’t pull back.

"Heh, you’re about to kill your own subordinate." Bai Yi grinned. Her dagger still lunged for Ada’s neck.

Tran activated his Superpower. He spun and punched back, clashing perfectly with Ada’s fist. Gray and red auras collided. In an instant, gray devoured red. Tran slammed Ada’s arm back.

"Ouch!" Ada, on the other side of the rift, was blasted away—just dodging Bai Yi’s strike.

Bai Yi teleported to safety. Inside, she was terrified. Ada was a genius with extreme offensive power. Why was her Superpower rated A Rank? Her attacks should shatter an SS Ranker’s domain… Yet Tran, unprepared, had repelled Ada’s attack—even blasting her away.

As she thought, Tran dashed beside her, swinging his club down. Bai Yi opened a spatial rift before her, the other end behind Tran… Just as she thought she’d succeeded, gray streams erupted from Tran. Her rift destabilized, on the verge of shattering. With no defense, Bai Yi couldn’t activate her Superpower in time. She was blasted away.

Bai Yi rolled on the ground. She teleported again, checking her injuries: a few broken ribs, no internal damage. Before she finished, a powerful fist slammed into her arm. Bai Yi screamed; her right arm went limp.

Ada seized the chance, raising her leg for a downward kick. But space blurred around her. Streets shifted to the sky; people walked upside down. Buildings twisted illogically.

"I never thought you’d force me to use my domain." Bai Yi hung upside down in the air, clutching her right arm. "No wonder you defeated our modified soldiers. Tran, you’re fascinating! But you won’t escape. This is my domain—[Chaotic Space]. Prepare to stay here."

Tran scanned the area. Gravity pulled only downward. Climbing to Bai Yi’s height seemed impossible. "Sister Bai Yi, why must you take Bai Xing? She’ll die in the White Emperor Kingdom!" he shouted.

"No, no. Bai Xing will die if she stays with you!" Bai Yi shook her head. Then she muttered quietly, "That idiot Mary always causes trouble."

"Huh? What did you say about Sister Mary?" Tran’s voice came.

"Nothing. How did you hear that whisper?" Bai Yi turned—and saw Tran upside down before her. "Y-you… how?" she stammered. Then she spotted his extra-long club crackling with electricity. She was speechless.

"It was too far. I extended my club to climb up. But what did you say about Sister Mary?" Tran persisted.

"Tran! Stop chatting. Knock her down!" Ada yelled. She trusted him now. Against a crippled SS Ranker? He’d dominate her.

"Hmph!" Bai Yi teleported, managing only slight distance. "Bai Xing is too dangerous with you. Better with me—ah! No!" Her Superpower destabilized. She opened a rift. Black energy surged out, wrapping around her.

Bai Xing emerged slowly. Her eyes were vacant. Giant bat wings sprouted from her back.

"Spatial fracture!" Bai Yi shouted. Space blurred around her. The black energy faded.

"Tch, spatial shift." Tran fell upside down to the ground. Ada climbed buildings to reach Bai Yi’s gravity layer.

"What’s going on, Bai Xing? You look so cool!" Tran gaped at her wings. Every chuunibyou boy’s dream!

"That Soul Beast is taking over Bai Xing’s body." Bai Yi panted. "Time was already short. This delay ruined the best extraction window!"

"What do you mean?" Ada asked.

Bai Yi glared at her. "Didn’t Mary tell you I’m their leader?" Moments ago, they were fighting. Now, switching sides?

"I thought you knew. Guess Mary didn’t tell you." Bai Yi sat, pulling out healing items. "Do you know my name?"

"Bai Yi… so that means?" Ada recalled something.

"Exactly, I’m—"

"I know! You must be Bai Xing’s mom!" Tran blurted. Bai Yi’s face darkened.

"Do I look that old!? I’m 19—just one year older than her! I’m her sister! Why I’m with the ministers is complicated. I’ll explain later." Bai Yi sighed. "We had everything ready. Just needed to take Bai Xing. Then you meddlers showed up."

"Why not just explain? Why fight? Look at Bai Xing now!" Ada complained.

"Hmph. I thought you didn’t know me—I could kill you all! Bai Xing was hugging that kid. He must have tricked her. Better to eliminate everyone." Bai Yi pointed at Tran.

Tran was speechless. A siscon? He was just an innocent victim!

"Bai Xing’s unstable. Whether she suppresses that damn bat depends on her." Bai Yi gazed at her with pity.

The three watched the blank-faced Bai Xing. Suddenly, she roared. The entire space trembled, starting to shatter!

"No! The Soul Beast’s power is corrupting my spatial energy! A rift is forming. We’ll be sucked in!" Bai Yi panicked as black energy surged. A vortex appeared before Bai Xing. Tran and the others had no time to escape—they were swallowed.

Bai Yi’s Superpower faded. Space returned to normal. Princess Bai Xing flew toward the White Emperor Kingdom.

In the spatial turbulence, Tran felt battered endlessly. He plummeted from the sky. After who knows how long, he opened his eyes.

"Huh? Where am I? Sister Ada! Where are you?" Tran stared at the lush green grass and blue sky, utterly bewildered.

A long screech echoed—a small wyvern. Countless strange birds flew around.

Seeing this, Tran seemed to realize something.

"Could it be… I’ve transmigrated!"
