"Sigh... Is that so?"

After hearing me, Lu couldn't help but blink her big, innocent eyes cutely. Then she immediately asked, "Why is that?"

"Hmm... Explaining it properly would take too long. Let's talk at home."

I thought it over—no point diving in now. It'd need ages to cover, and I wanted Lu to absorb modern knowledge here first, then ponder it herself. So I held off on explaining.

Next, I led her into a Japanese restaurant and booked a small private room.

"Wow... Is this Eastern decor?"

Inside, Lu curiously scanned the surroundings. In our world, Asians existed on a distant Eastern continent, far from the Demon Realm with little contact. Lu had never seen such styles—that's why I brought her here.

"Really... It feels so different."

After a good look, Lu blinked and settled beside me.

"How so? What do you feel?"

Hearing her, I glanced curiously at Lu. I gently bumped my head against hers and asked slowly.

"Hmm~ Kind of... classical?" Lu tilted her head slightly, replying with an unsure expression.

"Hmm, classical?"

I looked at her and softly echoed the word.

"Yeah. Fresh and natural, simple yet elegant. I love this atmosphere."

Lu nodded.

"Hmm... Got it." I paused briefly, then nodded. "So, Lu, what'll you eat? Try some noodles?"

"Noodles? Like flour?" Lu looked slightly confused. "I don't like flour. It's bland."

"Hehe, these noodles are different." I smiled, ruffling her hair. "Just taste a small bowl. If you hate it, I'll swap it."

"Ugh, but Amelia—you taught me not to waste food! Swapping would waste it..."

"Silly." I tapped her head lightly. "I'll give you a tiny portion. If it's bad, I'll finish the rest."

"Hehe, right! I forgot that trick."

Lu chuckled after the tap, not upset at all. She happily stuck her tongue out at me.

Seeing that, I shook my head smiling. I called a waiter and ordered char siu udon for us, plus some grilled skewers.

While waiting, Lu stayed chatty, leaning against me like a cute kitten. I didn't mind—I loved this cozy vibe. So I just kept chatting with her until the noodles arrived.
