"Alright, I get it…" I smiled, then crouched down slightly to whisper, "I promise—we’ll spend a little time with Chixun now. Then at dinner, it’ll be just us two. Deal?"

"Good. Now let’s pick clothes…" I nodded, smiling, and led her by the hand to the lingerie section to start choosing what we needed.
