"Amelia, knowledge in this world should be easy to obtain, right?"
Lu paused slightly, then slowly asked me.
"That’s right," I nodded, feeling a bit surprised. "There are plenty of books here, but we don’t need to buy them... I’ll teach you a tool tonight when we get back. Then you can look up any knowledge you want freely."
"Huh?"
Lu froze for a moment after hearing my words.
"A tool? Just by learning it, I can freely access knowledge? Could it be the legendary artifact that knows everything—[Noah’s Book]?"
"No."
My face stiffened instantly at Lu’s words.
"It’s the internet."
"What?"
Lu looked utterly bewildered.
"What thing? A net? Magic net?"
"...Never mind, I’ll explain later."
I glanced at Lu before me, thought for a second, then gave a helpless, bitter smile. "Explaining this might be tricky... Don’t rush. I’ll teach you tonight."
I slightly wiped the cold sweat from my forehead and replied quickly.
"Oh, I see."
Lu still wore a puzzled expression, but obediently didn’t press further. She just nodded and dropped it.
*...To help Lu live well here, I’ll need time to teach her common sense... Well, it’s fine. This world’s knowledge is vast—many concepts are brilliant. If Lu learns them, it’s a great choice... Hmm, no. The knowledge here is too messy. I must supervise her closely.*
I silently resolved to teach Lu tonight how to use one of this world’s most powerful tools—the internet.
But halfway through my thoughts, I suddenly realized—even with endless knowledge online, there’s plenty of bad stuff too.
Like those evil pop-up ads... terrible for kids!
To keep Lu from absorbing toxic things and turning bad, I decided I’d have to supervise every learning session.
Hmph. I must raise Lu to be a cute, perfect Demon Emperor. It’s the duty left by my original self and the previous Demon Emperor... I won’t allow any bad influences near her.
"Um... Amelia? What are you thinking about?"
Just then, as I mulled this over, Lu looked up at me and couldn’t help but ask.
"Nothing. Let’s keep moving."
I snapped my attention back to her, smiling as I reached out and took her hand. "Come on. You absolutely must follow me closely."
"I know, Amelia. Stop being so naggy..."
Lu clicked her tongue, slightly displeased, but I just chuckled and led her toward our destination.
