Very well, let us duel!

Break time was over. Commentator 55Kai took a sip of water, put on his headphones, and announced into the mic:

"The second random-hero match of the martial arts contest is officially starting! Who’ll win this time? Can Little Fox keep her streak alive? Can Mumu pull off a comeback? It all comes down to this hero pick!"

"On the red team, Mumu randomly got Vayne, the Night Hunter—a strong duelist. Rumor has it she plays her uniquely. Now, blue team’s Little Fox… huh? She looks utterly helpless!"

55Kai zoomed in on Little Fox’s livestream avatar. She stared helplessly at her random pick: Poppy, the Iron Hammer. The audience knew she’d never played her before. This match was a foregone conclusion…

Seeing her expression, I smirked with petty satisfaction. If she’d gotten Annie, she might’ve managed. But Ying, a total looks snob? No way she’d play Poppy—even if Poppy’s kinda cute…

"Want me to spot you ten minions?" I joked, opening my chat with Little Fox.

"Yes!"

"Tsk tsk. Not shy at all, huh?"

"I don’t care. Just remember to kowtow to me later!"

"..."

Her reply made my lips twitch. Why’s Ying so grudge-holding? What did I even do? It was just a joke. Giving her ten minions wouldn’t kill me!

...

Vayne pinned Poppy to the turret with a Silver Bolt. The result was obvious. Even with a ten-minion head start, Little Fox’s clunky plays were painful to watch. I won the second match easily.

"Nice! Mumu takes round two! Her textbook A-Q-E-A combo wiped out Little Fox. Clearly, she only read Poppy’s skills after picking her. Hahaha."

(This Poppy’s trash! Diamond-level play?)

(Seriously, I play better than her.)

(No wonder—Little Fox only plays Ahri. She didn’t lose unfairly!)

(Not unfair at all! Your Little Fox never loses unfairly! Check Mumu’s stream—she played one-handed and still gave ten minions!)

55Kai squinted at the barrage, then zoomed in on my stream feed. Seeing me play left-handed, he rubbed his chin and said seriously:

"I thought this was just fun between two lovely streamers. But one-handed play? Tough even in low-tier ranked. Against Little Fox like this? That’s raw talent. With Mumu’s skill and age, she could shine in the pro league—if she wants to."

(Wow, Kai’s overhyping Mumu!)

(Heh, I can play one-handed too. Watch: QWEQWEQWE!)

(Pro league? A girl like Mumu wouldn’t go pro.)

(Kai, you get flustered around pretty girls! You’ve changed.)

Winning round two was expected. But round three? My left hand trembled slightly. This intensity was draining—I was sweating. So…

"Xier, I’m counting on you," I said, glancing at Xier beside me. She looked relieved too.

"Maa~ Since you asked nicely, I won’t let you lose and kowtow to anyone…"

"Hehe~ My Xier’s the best!"

Xier stood, shifted the camera slightly, and plopped onto my desk. Now my right hand gripped the mouse. Feeling both hands control keyboard and mouse smoothly, my confidence surged. This match? Still anyone’s game!

"Round three starts now! Let’s see the audience-voted heroes. Unsurprisingly, they chose the Nine-Tailed Fox Spirit for Little Fox—praise for her first-match flair. And for Mumu… guess what?"

(Amumu! Her name’s Mumu.)

(Newbie? Mumu’s best hero is Yasuo!)

(Yasuo! Yasuo!)

(Yasuo counters Ahri… easy win.)

"Spot on, big bro! Mumu’s pick is Yasuo, the Unforgiven! Match starting—let’s watch!"

"Death is like the wind—always by my side."

Hearing that line, my pupils tightened. I slipped into the zone. Playing Yasuo always pulls me deep—as if I’ve stepped into a storm of blades and hellfire.

Dizziness faded. Gripping my trusted "Wind-Cutter" katana, I strode toward the towering turret. Facing the alluring Nine-Tailed Fox Spirit, I sneered and drew my blade—the old companion that severs all. Its cold gleam thirsted for blood.

"Then… let’s fight!"
