Is everyone unharmed?

"Are you okay?" I saw the beautiful woman sitting dazed on the ground, clearly shaken. Though I disliked her greedy attitude earlier, I couldn't just leave a girl lying there. I pulled her up and asked.

She slowly snapped out of it at my voice. Feeling her unfamiliar body and glancing at the corpse in the blood pool, she understood what happened. She smiled bitterly and replied,

"Do you believe me if I say I'm Wu Ke?"

Mr. Wu Ke?! His words hit me instantly—I knew exactly what had occurred. The result left me torn between laughter and tears. The spoiled, money-grubbing woman was gone, and the heroic Mr. Wu Ke had survived. But could Wu Ke truly accept living like this?

"I believe you, Mr. Wu Ke... because you're in this body thanks to me."

"Huh? You?" Wu Ke stared at me, dumbfounded.

"Yeah, me. If it's convenient, come to my place after the police arrive. I'll explain everything."

"I'm fine, but won't the police notice something?"

"Just stay quiet and pretend you have a headache. Also, calling you 'Wu Ke' will raise suspicion—it's clearly a man's name."

"Oh, then I'll go by... Wu Ke." Mr. Wu Ke scratched his head, fingers brushing the coiled hair on top. His hand dropped awkwardly as he settled on a simple, memorable name.

"Alright, police and ambulances are here. Don't say much."

After the officers took statements, they asked if we needed hospital checks—the driver would cover costs. But we had no time. We declined and hailed a taxi straight home.

Climbing the stairs, Wu Ke struggled with the new body and flimsy sandals, legs wobbling. Xiao Ling and I exchanged knowing smiles, recalling my own clumsy start. We each took an arm, guiding Wu Ke inside. Just as we entered, an iPhone rang. Wu Ke's chest bounced with the vibration, startling her. Her cheeks flushed pink. I quickly plucked the phone from her cleavage and hit speaker.

"Lia, I've transferred the money to the card I gave you. Password's eight zeros. The villa and car are yours too—but on one condition."

Wu Ke froze, overwhelmed despite his worldly experience. Seeing his silence, I whispered in her ear.

"Oh? What condition?" Wu Ke parroted my cue.

"You must return regularly to breastfeed the baby! I won't let my child drink another woman's milk. That's non-negotiable—or you get nothing. Take it or leave it!" A man's hoarse, frantic voice crackled through the line.

Breastfeed?! Wu Ke flushed deeper, glancing down at her ample chest. She almost refused, but paused. Her reply stunned us.

"I accept. Send someone to pick me up later. I need rest now." Wu Ke hung up, slumping onto my sofa with a long sigh.

"Wow, Miss Wu Ke adapted fast. No worries about you doing anything rash now."

Wu Ke gave a hollow chuckle.

"What choice do I have? A true man bends when needed. Besides... remember what I said before getting in the car? That was my wish too."

His words triggered my memory: "My wish is to fulfill all your wishes." Was this soul swap no accident—because of me?

"So, are you happy with your new look?" Xiao Ling asked curiously.

"Eh, it's... fine. A beauty like this? I never dared dream of it. Now I have it this way. Heh heh." Wu Ke's laugh held no joy—just resignation.

"Now, about my issue? Hua Shu, why did our bodies swap too? And at school earlier—you were in my body, right?"

After Wu Ke fell silent, Xier—in my body—grabbed my hand and pressed.

"It was an accident! We'll switch back tonight, I promise!" I declared confidently to Xier, though my stomach churned nervously.

"If we don't... staying together like this isn't so bad..." Xier murmured under her breath.

I missed her words as a phone rang in Xier's bag.

Ugh, probably for me. I took the phone from Xier—it was Miko calling. Ugh, must I make Xier relay again? Annoying. Fine, I'll answer myself...
