Chapter 16: Interrogating the Crimson Vo

Loyning had already followed Bessdaitiel to learn maid duties. Bess even shot me a meaningful glance, saying Sister Luo needed proper education in maid etiquette. It seemed Sister Luo’s path to becoming a maid wouldn’t be smooth.

A sudden, perverse fantasy flashed through my mind: what if tall, strong-willed Feyn Senior—forced to wear a maid uniform with reluctant humiliation—knelt before me? How utterly satisfying that would be!

This proud senior sister, her raven-black hair veiling her lashes, eyes still flickering with stubborn defiance… yet clad in a black-and-white maid dress, lace-trimmed stockings hugging her knees as she knelt at my feet…

I shook my head, cutting off the daydream. *Silly. That’ll never happen.*

Right now, I just wanted to subdue Feyn and make her submit. But that was far harder than taming Loyning, a natural masochist.

After showering, I slipped into a sheer black lace nightgown over purple lingerie. I combed my hair into twin-tails, tying each with a pale lavender bow. Time to interrogate Feyn Senior again.

*Why dress up for a prisoner interrogation?* My body had already moved on instinct before my mind could question it.

Wearing sleepwear was deliberate—to show I feared nothing from her. To prove she meant nothing to me. *Hmph!*

I teleported straight into her cell.

“Back so soon? Can’t resist seeing me?” Feyn’s gaze flickered at my appearance, but her voice stayed defiant.

“Hmph! W-who wants to see *you*? This interrogation is official business between demons and humans! Enough chatter—you’re in my grasp now. I can do whatever I please with you. So drop the arrogance!” I clasped my hands behind my back, swaying smugly.

“Kuroti… you look lovely today,” Senior Sister murmured gently.

“Eh? I-I do…?” I glanced down, cheeks warming. “N-nothing of the sort! Don’t flirt with your interrogator!”

“Says the girl whose heart’s racing at being called pretty.”

“Silence! No more weird talk—I’m busy! Listen, Tianlin Feiyan: I know you were the Empire’s star, the academy’s flower, the capital’s goddess. But that’s all in the past. Your breakdown in the Undercity battle got your teammates killed—children of nobles among them. Even if you escaped back, punishment awaits. And no one escapes the Undercity’s depths. You have no hope left. Your only chance? Submit to me.” I leaned in. “Two choices: First, swear loyalty now. I might make you a maid-guard. Second, rot forever in this lightless prison. Even if you flee, human justice will never forgive you.”

Silence swallowed the dark cell. I savored my words. Feyn’s head hung low, her face hidden by ink-black hair. *Surely my words stunned her.*

But she stayed silent too long. Impatience prickled my skin.

“Hey! Answer me! Too shy at the thought of being my maid?”

Her body shifted subtly. Her ample bosom swayed faintly with the movement.

“Honestly, Senior Sister—you must be exhausted lugging those around. They’re a nuisance for everything you do, aren’t they?” I stepped closer, relishing the jab.

“Senior Sister?” No reply. No movement. *Had something happened?* Had the bindings hurt her? Or had despair knocked her out?

“Senior Sister?” I crept nearer. Her rich, feminine scent washed over me again—intoxicating, dizzying. But I had to check on her.

At arm’s length, her face remained shadowed by her hair.

“Feyn Senior? What’s wrong…?” I reached to lift her hair.

*Snap.* A pale, powerful hand seized my wrist.

“Yikes! What—?!”

I yanked back, but too late. Feyn yanked me against her chest, her other arm locking around my waist.

*How did she break free?* Those ropes could bind mighty demons!

Before I could think, she guided my finger to her lips—and sucked it into her mouth.

“Eh????”

*Is this her surrender?* My mind reeled.

But when she pulled my finger out, glistening with her saliva, I realized what was missing.

Feyn held a ring between her teeth, her eyes gleaming with triumph.

*My teleportation ring!*

She spat it out and tucked it into her cleavage.

“Mmhmm. Now you can’t run, little princess.”

I stared at her chest. *So that’s a storage spot?* But panic drowned the thought—I was trapped.

“W-what are you doing? Let go! Give back my ring!” My protest came out breathless, embarrassingly flustered.

“What do you think I’ll do, dear sister?” Her whisper curled around my ear.

“Eh?”

Her arms tightened, crushing my face against her chest. The soft impact left me completely disoriented.

Just as I gasped for air, she released me.

“Hah…” I tilted my head back, gasping. Hair tangled, cheeks burning.

Before I could draw a full breath, her lips sealed over mine.

*Sister, I’m not unconscious—I don’t need artificial respiration!*

She kissed me deeply again. Her skilled hands roamed, leaving me defenseless…

Minutes later, she pinned my wrists behind my back with one hand. The other conjured a blade of dark energy against my throat.

“Sweetheart,” she breathed into my ear, “two choices for you too. First: obey me. Command your Undercity forces to find someone for me. Second: die now. Don’t make me choose the latter—I’d hate to lose you.”

I fought the shivers her breath sent down my spine. No way to resist her surfaced in my mind.

“But… how did you break the ropes? Even War Angels can’t escape Sacred Binding Ropes! Why let yourself be captured if you’re this strong?”

“Heh. Stubborn little princess.” Her chuckle vibrated against my ear. “You won’t rest until you know, will you? Fine—I’ll tell you.”

“Just talk, Senior Sister! Stop kissing my ear…” My voice trembled. This was unbearable.

“I’m afraid,” her tone turned velvet-soft yet razor-sharp, “you don’t get to decide that.”
