Covered in blood and exhausted, Merka had no mood to listen to the dark shadow's banter. He sat down completely on the ground, hands resting behind him, looking up at the sky and taking deep breaths of fresh air.
"Even though I know you're truly tired... now is not the time to rest," the dark shadow said, arms crossed.
"Oedipus still hasn't shown up. Our biggest issue remains unsolved."
Merka paused to catch his breath for a while before slowly responding to the dark shadow, "No, you're wrong."
"Who is Oedipus? Would she dare to appear so boldly in the heart of the city?" Merka looked at the dark shadow, his expression more serious.
"Let me help you piece together Oedipus's plan based on Mira's memories," the shadow continued, speaking with a rhythmic tone. "First, Mira was the one behind the terrorist attacks. She infiltrated noble places to gauge their reactions. With these reactions, she used the prophecy window to predict our plans. That's how she learned about our hydrogen bomb and our use of Abdiel for weapon manufacturing."
Pausing as if sorting through Mira's complex memories, the dark shadow continued, "Secondly, Oedipus secretly contacted Mira. Using the information from Mira, she formulated the plan. She sent out Samael to lead the charge and distract Turing. Samael was the one who couldn't attack the Bremen Concert Hall. At the time, her behavior and appearance were so similar to Oedipus herself because Oedipus implanted her own memories into Samael. This way, with Oedipus's memories, Samael could perfectly impersonate Oedipus and minimize the use of magic power. Even with more observers, no one could recognize her."
"Oedipus hoped to exhaust our hydrogen bombs using this method, but unfortunately, she hasn't succeeded yet. By the way, Samael's infiltration into the city also relied on this trick.”
"Oedipus transformed her memories using aside, allowing her to perfectly impersonate someone (Professor Bymon). Then, she utilized a curse to trigger her original identity at a specific point in time. This enabled her to deceive the more than a thousand guards on the city walls and successfully enter the city undercover."
The shadow sighed, marveling at Oedipus's extraordinary devious schemes. "However, it truly aligns with her Luciferian nature... her whole life is a deception. Since birth, she has been demonstrating this."
"Wait... shadow," Merka interjected. "I have a question. Is it possible that Oedipus never actually entered the city of Bohr?"
Hearing this, Merka felt a stirring within him, his mind racing rapidly. Ever since listening to the shadow's account, he felt there was a flaw in Oedipus's plan, but he couldn't pinpoint it.
No... I don't need to focus on Oedipus's specific schemes. That would only play into her hands. After all, deception is her forte. I must transcend micro-narratives and think macroscopically about this battle.
As the darkness previously mentioned, Oedipus only used three forces: Beezelbub, Mira, and Samael. But honestly, even if they manage to eliminate all of Maria's people, it won't prevent their ultimate defeat. Because apart from Beezelbub, the combined strength of the rest cannot overpower Turing. Even with Oedipus herself included - especially now that she's been injured by the mechanical gods - she can only rely on Beezelbub's power. But Beezelbub has already divided so much of its power, and judging from the strength of each angel, Beezelbub must have depleted a significant amount of power. Isn't she afraid of falling into a trap? If Turing wins, she'll face the risk of losing everything.
As Merka delved deeper into his thoughts, tiny beads of sweat dripped from his body. His magic and cognitive abilities were nearly exhausted. Suddenly, the shadow seemed to sense something and picked up a clump of blood foam left on the ground from Mira's explosion.
"This blood seems too rich... this isn't half-angel blood, it's angel blood."
Like a skilled detective, the dark shadow deduced the identity of the blood's owner just by rubbing his hands.
"What... are you saying Mira is a pure angel?" Merka interrupted, bewildered and clearly not grasping the gravity of the situation.
"No... I mean, Mira has escaped. She disguised herself as the angel within her and had the angel take on her appearance. It's a perfect metamorphosis," the shadow explained calmly.
“And the most frightening part is, you just encountered that angel. It definitely read your memories and informed Mira,” revealing a terrifying fact.
“What... how is that possible!? I mean, how could she transform into something so small? And attack, she can't use a backdrop, can she?” Merka incredulously raised his voice.
“Turing is also a half-angel, she once shrank and entered your body, have you forgotten?” the shadow retorted. “She didn't use a backdrop just now, but merely altered her body shape. Her disguise was clumsy, but you were too exhausted to notice.”
With a sigh, the dark shadow shook his head at Merka.
