Merka was kicked into the ruins by a thunderous blow, his fate hanging in the balance.

"Haha... Perish!"

Following the path Merka was sent flying along, a woman with features resembling Bordeaux instantly revealed the angelic prototype. She brandished the enormous scythe in her hand and took large strides to catch up.

With several inhuman leaps, the angel soared into the sky and harshly stomped down towards the deep pit where Merka was falling.

Nevertheless, Bordeaux intercepted this strike.

Bordeaux was agile as the wind, swiftly grabbing hold of the angel's lower limbs midair and forcefully hurling it towards the ground.

After a terrifying boom, the entire ground near Bordeaux sank several tens of centimeters as if experiencing an earthquake.

However, at the last moment, the angel transformed its hands into shields, supporting the ground to avoid being flattened into a pancake by Bordeaux.

"Aren't you underestimating me a bit too much...?"

Bordeaux glared with burning red eyes at the angel embedded in the ground, while the latter responded with an equally fierce gaze.

Without further ado, Bordeaux released the grip on the angel's ankle, slightly loosening a finger. A fierce poison instantly surged out as if symbolizing Bordeaux's silent rage, emanating from the palm of her hand.

They were like the aftermath of an explosive, resembling devilish claws, wildly swirling in the air like malevolent spirits in a mist.

At that moment, the angel's muscles soaked in Bordeaux's venom rapidly decayed as though immersed in a corrosive broth. They swiftly decomposed, rotted, and withered from Bordeaux's grasp.

"You should have some fun together. I'll be on my way~"

Just as Bordeaux was about to deliver the finishing blow, a clear and melodious voice echoed from a corner of the ruins behind her.

Dozens of lilac-colored chains fluttered behind her, slowly rising from the wreckage, disdainfully looking at Bordeaux from a distance, and gently smiling.

Evidently, the angel that Bordeaux just captured was not Mira but a decoy released by Mira.

However, as Mira pulled back the chains with force, her arm, inflated like a balloon, twisted into several segments and burst open.

Mira's eyes widened instantly, a drop of cold sweat trickling down. If she hadn't retracted quickly, her entire body would likely have been shattered by herself.

"A small mistake may cause a great disaster, Mira."

"You were careless."

Emerging slowly from the shadows of the ruins, Merka lightly raised his hand, revealing three lilac-colored iron chains linked to Mira.

"Do you think that one strike could keep me down for so long?"

"I used the Duke of George's magic to burn a passageway directly beneath you underground."

"You were so focused on the imagined teleportation scene that you didn't even sense George's magical fluctuations, right?"

Mira's expression turned horrified. Facing Merka now, she finally showed a hint of fear.

She wanted to raise her hand and retract her chains. But she was afraid that Merka would act faster and tear her apart into pieces.

An awkward and nervous expression appeared on Mira's face.

At that moment, she was like an ordinary person with a gun pointed at her head, not even having the courage to move.

"Merka, stop wasting time with her."

"Based on the memories I accessed earlier, she still has one trump card."

"She preserved two angels in her body, transformed into a smaller size, to protect herself."

"That's why Turing flying in the sky didn't detect the two angels."

"The shapeshifter that mimicked Bordeaux's appearance earlier was a distraction she released."

"So, there should be one angel still inside her body now."

"Beezelbub's avatar is too powerful; we cannot afford to be careless."

"Now is not the time to showcase your mercy; you must kill her immediately."

A dark figure emerged from the shadows of the ruins, sternly addressing Merka.

"Of course..."

"Such individuals who recklessly turn residential areas into battlegrounds deserve death a thousand times over. I can't possibly show mercy."

Merka lunged towards Mira, one hand grabbing her throat, while the other exerted full force to pull the iron chains.

In the blink of an eye, Mira's bowels, intestines, liver, and lungs were all dragged out by Merka along the lilac iron chains, like pulling a loose thread on a sweater.

In an instant, the terror-stricken expression on Mira's face froze in her final moment before death. As Merka vigorously swung his arm, extracting the lilac iron chains from Mira's body, she turned effortlessly into a sky full of blood rain and minced flesh.

Merka was drenched in splattering black blood. He sank to one knee, wiping the blood from the corner of his eye, lowering his head, and panting heavily.

A creature resembling a beetle fell out of Mira's ruptured body. Seeing its master reduced to fragments, it seemed to show a fearful expression and hastily flew away.

But at that moment, Merka had no energy to care about it.

"Merka, I congratulate you."

"In Mira's memories, Oedipus only unleashed three forces to attack the city of Boeotia."

"One was Mira and her cult, one was Beezelbub, and the other was Samael."

"You have dealt with one of them alone, so your chances of victory should increase significantly now."

The dark figure appeared abruptly beside Merka, speaking with a hint of delight in its tone.
