Led into the prison by the guards, Turing arrived at the registration office, underwent a brief inspection and registration process, and was also dressed in an orange prison uniform by the guards.
Of course, no matter how thorough the inspection was, they would never discover the existence of the Black-White Sword. Once something was swallowed by Turing, if she didn't bring it out, it would be as good as vanished.
"Miss, please forgive us."
The leading guard stepped forward, wearing a soft rubber glove, approached Turing's body, gently touched various possible hiding spots through her clothes.
"Our elder belongs to the Montecristo family as a son-in-law."
"Shrouded by the ancestors’ shadows, local nobles granted me the surname of Montecristo."
"If you don't mind, you can call me by my surname. Of course, if you prefer to call me by my name, you can call me Lulu."
After the inspection, Lulu finished touching Turing's petite body, gently patted her shoulder to signal that the check was over.
The overly ambiguous actions and proximity made Turing a little embarrassed and blush, but Lulu just silently removed her gloves, seemingly indifferent to the physical contact.
"Our family is the warden of this royal prison."
"Now, let me show you around the new environment, shall we?"
Lulu gave Turing a shallow smile.
This woman in her early thirties looked ordinary, with a face that was not particularly attractive and a figure that was not as devilishly hot as in Dunkirk, but her demeanor inexplicably made Turing feel particularly close, inadvertently wanting to be near her.
This innate aura gave everyone around her a special adorableness and a particularly girlish feeling.
[Can such a peaceful person be a chief warden?]
Turing looked at Lulu after she took off her helmet, revealing a doll-like face, and couldn't help but doubt in her heart.
"In our prison, we generally do not detain monsters, Curseborn, or any citizens of Acadia sentenced to death."
"Due to a series of issues such as scarce real estate resources, male and female prisoners are housed together here."
"You may have to live with unfamiliar people."
Lulu led Turing out of the registration office towards the residential area.
Neither of them was very tall, and when standing together, without looking at their prison guard and prisoner attire, they looked like two sisters of the same age out shopping together.
After walking for some time, the two finally entered the residential area.
The bustling residential area was full of vitality and bright lights. Smoke billowed from the chimneys stabbed into the sky, the marks of affluence etched on the endless eaves, corridors, and greenery. Those who didn't know might not recognize this place as a prison at all, but as a wealthy upper-class neighborhood of a prosperous country.
"Madam Warden, what do the numbers on top mean?"
"Ah, that."
"That is your serial number."
"When managing prisoners, we use the serial number for communication."
Seeing Turing's expressionless profile, Lulu smiled apologetically.
"It might be a bit disrespectful, but... well, it's just the way it is."
"However, since you're both already prisoners, you don't have many choices."
"The serial number matches the room number, Lord Altria."
"In the future, when the prison calls for you, they'll call you number 666."
Turing looked at the room numbers in front of him, which were 666 and 667 respectively.
"Your roommate has some quirks, so let me introduce you first."
"But anyway, he's still better than the other prisoners."
"We haven't had new inmates in a while, so sorry, before we sort out new rooms, you'll have to live with him for a while."
