After a long debate, Xingjian emptied the tea cup in his hand and looked at Lusius, who was still giving instructions at the damaged office desk. She yawned and skipped over to Tiran and Aya.

"What do you want now?"

Princess Aya tightly held her manga and looked cautious. It was that guy, who messed up her state of mind before and caused her to suffer without reason, almost getting caught.

(I mean, Miss, isn't it your own fault for the mindset issue?)

Aya quietly reminded her in the contract.

(Shut up!)

"It's not something important, just a reminder for her Highness not to forget our agreement." Xingjian lazily put down the teacup. "For the details, Zhiran will come to discuss with her Highness."

"Alright, alright, if there's nothing else, just leave quickly. The farther the better." Only towards Xingjian, Tiran still didn't have a good impression, rolled his eyes to dismiss her.

"Okay, I'll take my leave now." Xingjian blinked and didn't show any reaction to Tiran's hostile attitude. She turned around and waved at Lusius, who was still talking. "Then I'll be going for now, Mr. Lusius, I wish your Martial Arts Festival at the prestigious school goes smoothly."

"Huh?" Lusius was stunned for a moment, turned his head to look over here, a little confused. Is this sudden? Just leaving like that?

Aya and Tiran were also dumbfounded. Sister, are you really being honest?

"Ciella, that little girl is back, right? Even though she's a little weak in strength, she can still protect Balmira from threats. So whether I stay here or not doesn't matter, right?"

"Hmph, I actually hope you leave! And, who are you calling a little girl? We're practically the same age!" The Dean seemed to be the only one who genuinely wanted Xingjian to leave...

"Hehe, aren't you a little girl yourself now with that appearance?" Xingjian chuckled, covering her face, staring at Ciella, who had returned to her youthful form.

"Does the old hag want to fight again?!" Ciella suddenly bounced off the sofa, looking ready to pounce and bite.

Then she was pressed back by Lusius, along with a hand chop. The Dean shrank his head in grievance, knelt back on the sofa, bowing his head in apology.

"Please don't mind. Our Dean can be a bit childish." Lusius's face was full of frustration.

"Eh, it doesn't matter. I did argue with her quite a lot in the past." Xingjian shrugged. "But I do have something to attend to and need to leave for a while. Of course, my original mission was just to safely bring the children from the Gai battlefield here."

"Please don't worry. We will take full responsibility for the safety of your school's students."

"Those little guys have their own strength, although they do lack experience... with Milt's reassurance, I have no worries. So I'll leave it to you." Xingjian glanced at Ciella, blinked, took a step forward, and in an instant, the air rippled like water being blown by the wind, and the figure in the black robe disappeared.

The office returned to silence.

"This guy is really as annoying as ever." Ciella crossed her arms, pouted, and forcefully made a grimace in the direction where Xingjian left.

Are you a child?! Lusius couldn't help but cover his face in the end, unable to watch.

The princess also glanced at the spot where Xingjian disappeared and let out a sigh. "She really left."

"Is it really not because Miss, you made her angry?" Aya wiped the cold sweat off her forehead.

"Phew, who cares about her? It's her fault for constantly teasing me," Tiran sneered.

"Well, you're kind of teasing me too. Considering the gift, why don't you tell me what you two talked about in the carriage earlier?" Aya curiously asked, leaning in.

"Why is Dragon so nosy...?" Tiran sighed, a little exasperated. After the incident just now, he hadn't shown any more hostility towards Aya, but he still shook his head gently. "I'll tell you another time."

She really hadn't figured out how to explain the concept of "transmigration" to Aya. This world wasn't like the visitor-filled worlds she had read about in novels, but the only known "alternate worlds," Heaven and Devildom, were closely related to the main world as semi-planes. It was more appropriate to compare it to the relationship between the Earth and its moon's satellites.

Finally done explaining the aftermath of the attack on the Academy City to Joshua, Lucius could now focus on more important matters.

"Ciella, let's go underground," he said.

"Huh?" Ciella, who had thought she could quietly sneak away once everything was finished, was suddenly called out by Lucius from behind. She jumped, stood up straight, and turned her head stiffly. "Um... Didn't we already secure the underground? Can we skip the inspection?"

Lucius raised an eyebrow, sensing something amiss. He insisted, "No, the things inside absolutely cannot be left unguarded. You know this better than me, and it's what I brought with me. It's also my mission to make sure everything is secure."

"But...but, um..." Ciella seemed flustered, and in her panic, Aya seemed to catch her eyes glancing at her furtively?

...

The Milt Academy was established a hundred years ago with the initial purpose of protecting ordinary refugees in times of war.

With the growth of their strength, it eventually evolved into a safeguard for the safety of one side. Milt lived up to its title as "Watchers." The task tower system, which was participated in by students and teachers, continued to effectively deal with everything from small monsters and villains to wars and calamities. The figures guarding the people could be seen almost everywhere.

Likewise, as their reputation grew, the number of people seeking their help gradually increased. Sometimes, the requests from clients were not just about exterminating or rescuing...

One of these requests was for safekeeping.

Of course, ordinary gold and silver treasures were certainly not within the scope of Milt's safekeeping. Most of the people who sought help from Milt had something of great importance, such as a dark magician's artifact sealed by the Magic Guild or a necromantic curse magic array that sacrificed a whole city's lives. Once these fell into the wrong hands, they would bring disaster.

Securing the safety of these objects was also part of their task as "Watchers." Therefore, the then head of the academy, also one of the "Three Sages," decided to build an underground vault to store these items.

The vault was made impenetrable by a monitoring and defense system personally set up by a Holy Rank. Since its establishment, there had been no incidents of theft, and the reputation of Milt's vault spread far and wide. Eventually, even items like national constitutions, inter-country cease-fire agreements, and joint declarations were sent for safekeeping.

"So, this is Milt's underground vault, Elysius."

In the unexpectedly spacious underground atrium, Lucius stood in front of the silver-white vault door that was as wide as a city gate and eight meters tall, introducing it to Aya and Tiran, who had followed him.

Well, although Princess Lucy didn't initially have much interest, Lucius seemed to think that it would be beneficial for Aya and Tiran to know about protecting this treasury, so he suggested bringing them along.

But...

"Huh? So this is the underground treasury they were talking about?"

Aya stared at the door and couldn't help but blurt out.

"You knew?" Tiran raised an eyebrow curiously.

"Didn't I come here decades ago? And the last time was right here, when... Ouch!"

But before he could finish speaking, the headmaster suddenly jumped and stomped on Aya's foot, causing her to swallow the rest of her sentence in pain.

"No talking!"

Watching Aya clutching her right foot in agony, Tiran smirked and patted Aya's shoulder playfully. "Hey, you asked me before, what's the story between you and Master Lengshao?"

"Tsk, who doesn't have a few secrets..." Aya grumbled, seeming not to have fully recovered. "How about we trade?"

"Trading doesn't make it a secret anymore." Tiran gave him a disdainful look and pulled Aya up from the ground. "Let's go, let's go."

In the previous attack, the main hall in front of the treasury had also suffered significant damage. Although the broken earth and stones had been cleaned up, numerous cracks on the ground evidenced the intensity of the previous battle.

Fortunately, the main support structures were undamaged; otherwise, they would have to dig to enter.

"Hey, Lucius, isn't this fine? Shouldn't we just leave it like this?" Ciella tugged at Lucius's sleeve and asked quietly.

Hmm, having worked with Ciella for so many years, Lucius had basically figured out the headmaster's character. Whenever she put on a docile appearance, it was definitely because she had stirred up trouble.

So...

"What do you think?" Lucius smiled gently and pointed at the door. "Hurry up and open it!"

How did this headmaster have no dignity at all?

Standing a few steps away, Aya watched as the massive door slowly opened. After glancing at Ciella, who had a mournful expression, she suddenly understood why that guy had adamantly forbade her from mentioning it.

"One second of pity for the headmaster. Miss Tiran, are you considering having a talk with your Master Lengshao later? I bet Lucius will be very angry, huh?"

"Don't mention that... It's disheartening." Princess Lucy was still a bit upset about the fact that her favorite artist turned out to be Ciella. But Aya's words left her confused. "What do you mean by Lucius getting angry?"

Nothing happened to the treasury, right? Could it be something that happened when Ciella brought back the dumb dragon to the academy? But what could have been lost to make the usually refined and easygoing Lucius get "very angry"?

As the door opened completely, the contents of the treasure trove were revealed. Tiran had initially thought that because it stored important objects, it wouldn't take up much space. However, what she saw was a vast expanse equivalent to the size of a football field in The Realm.

The floors, walls, and ceilings were all made of the same material, with a silver-white sheen that shimmered like flowing liquid, but there were no areas to store items in sight.

"Welcome to the secret treasury. Confirming administrator privileges. Welcome, Lady Ciella. Confirming visitor privileges. Welcome, Lord Lucius. Confirming two unregistered visitors. Initiate extermination program?"

A beam of light descended from the ceiling, projecting a stern-faced young man, his eyes devoid of any emotional fluctuations, onto a three-dimensional image, landing on Aya and Tiran, who were the last to enter.

Although Aya thought she was pretty capable, she still felt nervous when being detected.

"This is Aelithor, the guardian of the treasury, created by that old man Dia. Don't worry, they are not invaders. Grant them visitor access, Tiran and Aya," explained Ciella.

"Understood, welcome."

"It's a novel thing. It wasn't here last time. Was it created afterwards?" Aya touched her smooth chin and looked at Aelithor. She wondered if these magical creatures were somewhat similar to their owners. The creator of Aelithor was probably a serious and old-fashioned old man, right? Otherwise, this guy wouldn't be so meticulous from head to toe.

On the other hand, that idiotic thing in the princess's private treasury... sigh.

"Hey, I heard what you were thinking just now," the princess grunted, turning her face away in a sulky manner.

"I'm sorry, my bad! Ugh, isn't this mental connection from the contract so annoying? Can't it be turned off?!"
