“This world is pretty much ruined!” Bexia looked out over the devastated Oloses Divine Domain. The Great Sage had not only extracted the power of countless dead souls, but had also been continuously draining the power of this world.
Bexia actually admired the Great Sage quite a bit. Who would’ve thought he’d try refining an entire world to increase his own strength? If Bexia hadn’t been able to deal with him, he might really have succeeded!
Although the Great Sage was already dead, this world had not recovered. The center of the earth in particular, along with the northern region where the battle between the gods had taken place, had nearly become dead zones. The environment and climate had grown extremely harsh, energy was desperately scarce, and some areas had even turned into energy vacuums.
Bexia wasn’t exactly a savior, but he was a man with principles. He weighed the Fusion Grail in his hand, then shot straight beyond the world in one breath, looking just like a meteor flying in reverse!
“Gather!” Bexia released the Fusion Grail and activated its power. His strength wasn’t enough, but his realm allowed him to use some of the Fusion Grail’s abilities at the lowest possible cost.
The energy in the universe was completely incomparable to that within a world. Directly injecting it into a world wouldn’t help in the slightest. Instead, it would damage the world and accelerate its destruction.
However, if there was a conversion point, everything would be completely different!
A Creator-level continent wasn’t one where every part of the continent had been constructed by the Creator God. Rather, the Creator God possessed the power to convert the energy of the universe into energy usable by the world, while the power of creation could serve as the medium required for that conversion.
Powerful worlds relied on the Creator God’s constant conversion of universal energy to replenish them, allowing them to evolve—or accelerating their evolution—until they surpassed ordinary worlds in strength. That was also why the Creator level was used to evaluate a world: everything was the Creator God’s doing.
What Bexia was doing was actually similar to what the Creator God did, but it was also different. He simply didn’t possess that ability. He could only rely on the power of the Fusion Grail to complete the process, and he couldn’t sustain it for long. He was utterly incapable of matching the Creator God’s power and fully evolving this world. At most, he could only repair it a little.
Bexia controlled the Grail of Power, continuously gathering and converting the universe’s energy. Once it was filled with universal energy, he slowly exhaled a breath of foul air. To be honest, even dealing with the Great Sage hadn’t exhausted him this much. Controlling a Sovereign divine artifact with his current strength was simply too difficult!
Holding the Fusion Grail, now filled with energy, Bexia quickly returned to the Oloses Divine Domain. He arrived above the place where he had fought the Great Sage earlier, then slowly tilted the Fusion Grail. Pure black liquid formed from universal energy began to drip down.
Pure universal energy was black and sparkling, completely different from the energy condensed by the Great Sage, which was filled with endless evil thoughts and sinister aura. The moment a single drop fell, it stirred up a tremendous energy storm. To put it bluntly, one drop would be enough to burst an Immortal God. And Bexia was pouring out an entire cup.
The liquid fell to the ground and was absorbed by the yellow sand. A faint black radiance spread outward, almost covering the entire Oloses Divine Domain!
Then a miraculous scene appeared. On the barren, sandy earth, green first emerged around the point where the universal energy had landed. It then swept outward like a raging wind. Wherever the green radiance reached, life sprang up everywhere. Countless flowers and grasses spread across the mountains and land, and even the regions where not a blade of grass had grown became full of vitality.
Everything seemed just like a dream!
After finishing all this, Bexia left with the Fusion Grail. Although he had restored the vitality of this land, his power was limited, so he could only restore it to this extent. The energy here hadn’t actually changed that much compared to before, but at least it had become very suitable for ordinary people to live in.
The overall level of the Oloses Divine Domain had declined considerably. Perhaps it would recover after many years. Of course, it might also slowly deteriorate, becoming an ordinary world before gradually disappearing!
Next, Bexia used the power of the Fusion Grail to condense his Destruction Phantom God and Space Phantom God. He also created a Fusion Phantom God. Counting them all, Bexia now had five phantom bodies, which were essentially five clones in a sense.
Of course, the phantom bodies Bexia had condensed were still incomplete and not powerful enough. They were also missing a wisp of his divine soul. But he no longer had a divine soul now, so he would need to reclaim the power he had left in the Abyss before he could complete the final step.
While flying toward Gehr City, Bexia encountered Talissa at the place where he usually trained her. Seeing her dressed neatly and riding atop a golden giant lion, Bexia landed beside her.
“What are you doing here?”
“Waiting for you!” Talissa replied. The atmosphere fell silent for a moment before she asked again, “You’re leaving?”
“Yeah! I still have things I need to do!” Bexia answered.
“Can you take me with you?” Talissa asked again.
“You…” Bexia started to speak, but Talissa cut him off. “Don’t you remember that you still owe me a favor? I’m claiming it now. Take me with you!”
“Are you sure?” Bexia glanced at her and asked, “What about your subjects?”
“I’ve already left a letter!” Talissa replied. In other words, she had run away from home, just like when she had suddenly left Gehr City before!
Running away from home!
A runaway king!
