"Little umbrella, don't cry. How about I ask Dad to take us to buy some delicious treats?" Watching the little umbrella sobbing uncontrollably, Higanbana knelt beside her and gently touched the smaller umbrella beside her, comforting her.
"Sister is gone, sister was eaten by a monster, waaaah—!" As memories slowly resurfaced, the doll-sized umbrella burst into even louder sobs, with Beibei rushing over to meow softly in comfort.
Perhaps because they were all small in size, they found a common language. After crying for a while, the little umbrella stopped, curiously looking at the two slightly older than her and asked, "Who are you?"
"I'm Higanbana! And she is Beibei!"
"Meow~" Beibei nodded.

"Don't be sad. We have many sisters here!" Higanbana picked up Little Umbrella and flew, introducing her to Bexia and the others one by one.

"I think it's time for us to head back," Bexia changed the subject.
"You just changed the topic!"
"Come on, you're a mother now, don't act like a child, okay?!"
"Don't slander me, when have I ever been a mother? Is the child's father you?" Lian retorted, leaving Bexia speechless.
"You..."
"Isn't Yue your daughter? What about my mother-in-law...?" Bexia asked in a strange tone.
"Yue was separated from my body, I'm still a virgin now," Lian's topic seemed to have veered off a bit.
"Cough! Listen to me, there are many people here. If you don't want to be laughed at, go home and argue about it later!" The fat stall owner didn't say this out of kindness, but because Bexia's group was blocking his business!

As they walked back to Dawn City, Lian's pace was fast and Bexia just couldn't catch up, as if she was deliberately being kept at a distance. Realizing the inevitable outcome, Bexia decided to follow slowly behind, listening to Little Umbrella talk about her own past.
Little Umbrella's former sister, the doll maker who created her, was also an immortal-level deity known as the Puppet Witch. She used to live in a forest until one day disaster struck, a huge monster destroyed the entire forest and even ate Little Umbrella's creator. The Puppet Witch then used all her power to send Little Umbrella away and passed down all her legacy to her.
Little Umbrella's existence itself was an accident, creating a conscious doll has always been what doll makers strived for so her birth was very special to the Puppet Witch, who treated her like a little sister which is why Little Umbrella always called her sister.
While listening to Little Umbrella's story, Lian suddenly stopped in her tracks, looking alert ahead, and coldly said, "Who?"
"Not bad perception, to actually detect me!" A resounding voice echoed as the footsteps of a dark figure moved, causing the ground to tremble slightly.
"Oh! A member of the demon race!" Lian sneered at the massive figure.
