Chapter Thirty-Three
1
"Hello there!"
In a space filled with rainbows, there was a person in Qin Yang's eyes who looked exactly like himself in black and white.
"It's you again. Didn't you say before that the true self is just a parrot?"
"Not anymore from today onwards. Let's slowly adapt and stop splitting personalities to have a conversation with ourselves."
Black and white smiled at each other, the sudden arrival of this day was long-awaited.
"Black, farewell."
"Hey, bring a mirror so we can see each other again."
"Indeed, this is really a split of the mind. Let's go back to the past."
The true self touched everyone's hands, the radiant space merged with me, memories flooding like a burst dam, fragments of memories assembling into a line of reminiscence. Astonishingly, it resembled the final battle of the ancient war between gods and demons thirteen million years ago. In this primordial world of no sky and no earth, the world's power was weak. Now, the dragon race's power was essentially nonexistent, unable even to expel. We recklessly battled here, facing a dragon that could not be seen, appearing in my eyes like an image seen by a thermal scanner, except it was not heat but a simulated dragon soul. I eventually grew weary of the endless fighting, putting in all my effort to leave voluntarily. The next world was vibrant and colorful, and everything suddenly became clear to me. This colorful world was how the spiral tri-realm originally looked like, a complete world before our arrival, teeming with vitality.
Suddenly, there was a break in the memory, and the next moment I witnessed myself biting off the opponent's dragon head, sealed in a crack in the ground. Meanwhile, the dragon's body was also sealed, but the location of the seal was broken. The memory then connected to the image of myself splitting into three.
"Marutian! He's the one with the severed head. What was the cause of the battle, and why did I suddenly win?" I struggled to piece together the fragmented memories. After struggling, I was astonished to find myself in a state of confusion. The fragments were cleansed, but without direction. Those not successfully pieced together were suppressed. I felt the memories had not completely disappeared, unable to be retrieved from the mind.

"Beep~~~ Beep beep~~~" There was a sound of running water in my ears, mixed with a little snoring.
Strands of sunlight entered the room, casting a slightly colorful light. It was apparent from the equipment in the room that this was the medical room of the Azure Sky Carrier. The water pipes were not sealed properly, resulting in the sound of water lingering in the empty room.
"You..."
A sweet voice sounded by the bed, with white hair like snow. For a moment, I thought it was Guffy, but it was Tesha, her eyes red.
"Tesha, you finally came to see me."
"I... I just wanted to ask you..."
"I know what you want to ask. If it's hard to believe, you don't have to. I am still your classmate." I smiled and spoke naturally. I didn't want to make it difficult for her. The fact of a classmate becoming a father was not much different from when I first saw a little girl whom I thought was my mother.
Tesha quietly stood up, pondered for a while, then said, "You rest well. Wenxiang said that your magic recovery is slow and you need rest."
She left the room, and after she closed the door, I heard a man's voice ask, "Did you ask?"
Tesha did not respond, her footsteps fading away gradually. I recognized the voice as Qin Taiyuan's.
I followed Tesha's advice and continued resting in the room, the machines helping me recover my magic slowly, although the progress seemed to be sluggish.
At some point, someone else entered.
The person muttered softly, "Why did Tesha leave? Wasn't it supposed to be a duty rotation? Well, at least I'm the only one who knows my brother's birthday, so let me celebrate it with him alone."
Birthday? Oh~~~ Is it my birthday today? I remember the battle with the Fire Dragon was three days before my birthday, which means it's already the third day past now.
"Brother, I made a cake for you today for your birthday. If you don't wake up soon, your birthday will be over."
Oh no, can Wenxin's cake be eaten? It's definitely not a good thing to wake up now, and I'm going to lie down for another four or five days easily. It's not worth it at all, so I decide to continue pretending to sleep.
"In the past, it was always brother who bought the cake. This time, I made it myself. As a little sister, I feel quite proud of myself."
Oh? Where did you get this confidence from?
"If you wake up, we'll go see the rainbow that never sets."
A rainbow that never sets? Where does the rainbow come from without sunlight refraction?
"Let's light the candles. Would it feel better if the wax dripped on your hand? After all, brother, you're just asleep."
Look, she's about to start saying something weird.
"Or maybe I'll draw a little dog on your face as a birthday present. Or maybe a sheep's head, then drip a couple drops of wax."
When Wenxin was about to light the candles, she heard the sound of the door opening and immediately hid in the wardrobe next to the bed.
"Tesha isn't here, Tai Yuan didn't lie to me," Qin Ying peeked in stealthily. I could see her in her neutral captain's uniform even with my eyes half-closed, but today she wore a pair of leather boots that don't match our Othrie style, probably a product from some country across the sea.
"No one remembered Qin Yang's birthday today after all. Qin Yang, see who treats you best. Of course, it's me," Qin Ying proudly sat by my bed, arms holding a bag. She opened the bag and took out a pair of almost identical boots.
"These couple shoes were brought back from abroad. The Monster leather can reduce magic consumption when using flying magic, very useful. This is your gift, but you're still not awake. The power array on the mothership was drawn by you, and modifications and improvements have to be done by you, right? And then the ten Demon Kings said they're having internal conflicts again. Weren't you planning to confront The Divine Realm? How can they do this?"
Let the ten Demon Kings fight among themselves. They've been fighting for countless years.
"Knock, knock~~" Two knocks on the door, and I immediately closed my eyes. Qin Ying seemed to hide as well.
"Two minutes left for the change, is Tesha leaving now?"
Xiao Qiong?
"Sis, where's Tesha?"
Xiao Yao and Xiao Qiong walked in quietly, carrying a tempting fragrance, the smell of a feast! Xiao Qiong's cooking is impeccable.
"Se Yang still hasn't woken up, so much effort and he won't even get to taste it."
"If he wakes up now, he can eat it."
Xiao Qiong pressed her icy gun against my face, and I could already feel the cold touch of the gun barrel.
"Well, it looks like he's still asleep."
"Sis, don't disturb him."
"How else do you expect to wake him up?"
"Qin Yang really had a close call this time, resting for a few days is normal. We searched through five kingdoms and finally found him, and the Vice President said when they found him, he was still in a wheelchair."
Xiao Yao's voice sounded very emotional, as if I was still in a wheelchair.
"Are you going to abandon him if he ends up disabled?"
"Sister, no matter what, today is Xiaoyang's birthday."
"Someone has come; we agreed not to enter before our shift time."
"Hide, help me tidy up a bit."
Oh... So they had made an agreement.
The person who entered this time didn't say anything, their steps were light.
Huh? She leaped onto my bed, a warm breath rushing towards me. As she sat on top of me, I thought I could hear the sound of the door about to give way.
"Hmm?" The girl paused in her actions, and I knew the situation was not good. After realizing there was nothing amiss, she started moving again. I thought it was time to wake up.
The girl suddenly stopped on top of me, her footsteps seemed a bit flustered. Then, another sound of the door opening, this time it was Hanya. She didn't sneak around like a thief; with a righteous air, she shouted to the room.
"Anyone here? As a knight, I remind you to abide by the rules."
After no response came from the room for a while, she murmured to herself in a more relaxed tone, "Was I being too suspicious?"
Hanya's righteousness did not extend into my room; instead, she just checked to see if someone was inside. But she didn't thoroughly search the room, maybe the self-imposed leadership role prevented her from doing so.
However, after Hanya left, the girls didn't come out either, because someone else entered.
"Stop pretending, I know you're awake."
"Well done, Elena." Elena immediately saw through my act of sleeping; it was clear in her eyes.
"And the others, come out now." Elena leaned back in the chair, suddenly very serious.
At this point, other girls began to emerge from different places, some were shocked to see the others, as they were unaware that all their actions were being observed by the others.
"Lilith, were you planning something?"
"Yeah, Lilith, you're quite cunning."
The criticized Lilith was probably the one who was sitting on top of me.
