12 Allen VS Kivat
update icon Updated at 2023/7/20 4:10:12

Kivat has a robust body but not bulky, with the perfect figure of wasp waist and long arms. He stands at 180cm tall, far exceeding his peers. With his dark skin resembling a small mount, he doesn't look like a 15-year-old and is often mistaken as an adult. In comparison, Allen, who is 145cm, seems too petite, like a child beside an adult.

"Hehe, please go easy on me. Rarely do I get the chance to compete with Flame Goddess. I am curious about your genius strength," Kivat said with a sneer on his thick, black lips, looking down on Allen. Although his expression was full of malice, it wasn't directed at Allen in hostility, but rather just his usual demeanor.

Kivat casually swung his long sword, and the sword air blew five meters away, whistling. Despite Kivat's threatening gesture, Allen remained calm and indifferent, almost numb to the situation.

All eyes were on Kivat and Allen, expecting a showdown between two of the strongest students in the class. Especially Flame Goddess Allen, who had defeated senior students in the advanced class before, her strength far beyond the intermediate class category.

However, Kivat was also great in the class before Allen arrived. He was the NO.1 student in the class, even though he achieved slightly less in regular classes and magic classes, his grades in sword skills were overwhelmingly high, having never lost in any exams.

Everyone was looking forward to the outcome of this contest between the two of them.

"If you dare to bully my Allen, I'll make sure to slaughter you," the homeroom teacher spoke very biasedly, but both Kivat and other students chose to ignore it.

As soon as the exam began, both of them launched a counter-attack, pushing off the ground to move quickly, like arrows shot out of a bow, and their swords collided in a flash.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

A powerful air current swept out from both of them, bursting like a thunderbolt, showing everyone that their strength was far beyond the previously tested students.

Kivat felt his hand numb from the impact, and his thick eyebrows wrinkled like a caterpillar. Allen's expression also became more serious, her small round face strained.

They kept crossing swords, attacking and defending without avoiding each other. Kivat became increasingly serious, not wanting to lose to a girl three years younger than him who looked harmless.

The black-skinned man's skin glowed with a yellowish hue, a light phenomenon formed by magic. By controlling the magic through his spirit, it spread onto the long sword he held in both hands.

Allen charged towards Kivat, while Kivat stood still and swung his sword horizontally.

"Clang!"

As soon as the swords touched, Allen flew backward with her sword. Kivat thought he could take advantage of it, but Allen did a flip in mid-air, and with her sword held in both hands, she struck down on Kivat's head.

Fortunately, Kivat reacted quickly, using his sword to block, but the downward force made him kneel down, almost falling, his teeth clenched, and his forehead bulging with veins.

Allen maintained her serious expression, using the force from the collision to flip in the air again, freely rotating twice as she landed steadily on the ground.

"Allen is so powerful! So cool!" exclaimed Mia and Nina, their faces showing excitement. Not only these two but the whole class was thrilled by Allen's impressive performance."Allen's movements are still too stiff. Although Kivat managed to block the attack just now, his body had already stiffened and if Allen had aimed for his face, he would have definitely succeeded," said Antavia.

"But that would cause serious injury to the opponent. Allen is a kind child and would not do such a thing," replied Kloke.

Although Antavia was skilled in magic, particularly white magic, she was a complete novice in terms of swordsmanship. She couldn't see through the two's dazzling sword techniques and only had a rough understanding of the related techniques as a teacher.

"Clang..."

The long sword that had fallen to the ground tossed and turned like a big fish, before finally becoming still due to loss of power. The earthy yellow light on the sword gradually turned into scattered dots and disappeared into the air.

Allen held his long sword with a resolute expression, while Kivat's hands were empty and his expression was somewhat dazed.

"I lost. Your strength is truly impressive," said Kivat, who had recovered from his daze. Allen, who had won the battle, showed a happy smile appropriate for his age.

"Allen won, meow."

"What just happened?" The students began to discuss excitedly, as most of them had not seen what had just happened and why Kivat's sword had suddenly been knocked away.

Kloke, who had been watching her daughter closely, had witnessed the entire process and could understand why Allen had been able to knock Kivat's sword away.

In fact, Allen had continuously swung his sword in a short amount of time and distance, causing vibrations in Kivat's sword, which eventually led to it slipping out of his hand. This was one of the practical techniques that Kloke had taught Allen.

Kivat was an excellent swordsman and would not easily lose his sword, but the impact of the rapid and continuous sword strikes had exceeded his expectations, and his hand had not even comprehended this force. Even if he had, it would have been too late to command his brain to tighten his grip on the hilt.

Kloke was pleased with her daughter's excellent performance and nodded approvingly, showing a happier expression than her daughter's victory.

"Antavia, did you see my daughter's excellent swordsmanship?"

"Yes, I saw it. Allen is really amazing," replied Antavia, who was not shy to praise the young and talented Allen.

Kloke was delighted that his adorable daughter received praise from others, even more so than if he had received the praise himself.
