Gulp, Bai Ya sat nervously on the soft sofa, not daring to move. She had not expected this place to be a custom clothing shop, not a ready-made clothing store.

At this point, her older sister had already been whisked away to a small room by a designer brimming with excitement. At her side, several other designers circled around Leticia.

"Miss, are you really not interested in having a clothing piece made? The quality of our garments is the finest in Central City," one cooed.

"Trust us, we can emphasize your best assets with our creations," another chimed in.

"Little Miss..."

Worn out, Leticia covered her ears and vigorously shook her head. "I've said it already, I don't need anything. Why don't you go bother that white-head instead?"

"But we have to wait our turn," one designer giggled, "and both you and the other miss are equally charming. We are simply lucky to have you both here."

"I have no money. I can't afford your clothes!" Leticia claimed, affirming she was not like Bai Ling, and was a pauper who could not splurge.

"If it's for you, we could consider doing it for free."

"Please allow me to decline."

After an extensive back and forth, Leticia was finally relieved when Bai Ling emerged from the side room. The group of designers immediately flocked from Leticia to Bai Ling, who, looking bewildered, was hastily ushered back inside. They began to chatter excitedly, causing Leticia to crack a mischievous smile.

Once Bai Ling left the room again for only a second, before being shoved back in, her baffled expression suggested she was out of her element.

"Comforting," Leticia stifled her laughter, her amusement stemming from Bai Ling's comical discomfort.

"Miss Su, it's your turn now," a designer who had just finished with Bai Ling came over and gently informed her.

"What?"

"Miss Bai wants to purchase a few outfits for you, hoping to accentuate your cuteness as much as possible." The short-haired designer smiled at Leticia, "By the way, it happens to be my forte."

"I don't think that's necessary, I'm pretty content with my current wardrobe," Leticia hastily disagreed.

Bai Ling, the rascal, had set her up!

"It's very necessary!" It wasn't the designer who responded, but Bai Ya, who had been quiet for so long. With a swift jump from the sofa, she grabbed Leticia's arm.

Powerfully pulling Leticia up from her spot, Bai Ya disregarded her objections and pushed her into another room. Bang, click, the smiling designer locked the door from the outside.

"Damn it, what's Bai Ling thinking?” Leticia sighed.

When Bai Ya had just shoved her, Leticia didn’t resist. One reason was to avoid upsetting Bai Ya. The other was because she was genuinely curious about the designer.

"Now it's just the two of us, no need for any pretenses, demon spider.” To the designer’s surprise, Leticia straightforwardly revealed her identity.

"How did you find out?" The designer asked, slightly puzzled, adjusting her glasses slightly. "My disguise should have been perfect."

"But there are some slip-ups; not hard for either me, or her, to detect," Leticia responded calmly, "Just admit it, what dirty deeds have you done in the human world?"

Yet the demon spider's face was filled with innocence, “I'm a law-abiding citizen, I have never done anything wrong.” Then, she took out a black booklet from her pocket, “Look, it’s a permanent residence permit for different species. I'm legally allowed to stay here.”

Hiss… Leticia was dumbfounded, she really didn't expect such a thing in the human world.

After all the trouble, she was actually the illegal one?

"I love designing clothes for little girls. All the school uniforms for girls in all the elementary schools in Central City are my designs." The spider spirit's eyes flashed with fanaticism, "And you, you are the most perfect girl I've ever seen!"

"So, please allow me to make clothes for you!"

No… Ah this…

Leticia took a step back. She smelled a hint of perversion from this woman.

Could she be a lolicon?

"I'm not a loli." Leticia stated that both her height and age had surpassed the definition of a loli.

"No, no." The woman shook her head seriously, "I love cute girls, and Miss Su, you are the cutest girl I've ever seen."

Cute? Leticia was stupefied.

She? Cute?

Which part of her could be considered cute?

With so many eyes, was the spider blind?

"Cough cough. I just need to measure visually, please stand still." The spider spirit coughed twice, suppressing her somewhat sadistic expression, "It's free, consider it my gift to you."
