The honking sound of the vehicle brought LingFan’s thoughts back to the present, and they had already reached the last traffic light junction before getting home. LingFan thought to themselves, it's now the second half of their third year in junior high school, and they had been exploring tombs for almost a year. With their help, Su Moran's academic performance had improved significantly. Thanks to her family's strong connections and her no longer lagging grades, she had successfully advanced to the first year of Moral Education Middle School's intensive class. As a result, LingFan received a hefty bonus from the Su family.

Originally, LingFan wanted to retire gracefully after completing a great achievement. After finishing the last lesson for Su Moran, they shared their thoughts with Su Wen about no longer coming to teach. Su Wen thought it was because Su Moran was being disobedient, so she prepared to call Su Moran in front of LingFan to scold her. But upon noticing the situation, LingFan quickly explained that since Su Moran had achieved her academic goals and had a solid foundation, she would be able to keep up with school studies on her own, so there was no need for them to continue teaching her.

Naturally, Su Wen disagreed. LingFan's performance during this period had been extremely satisfactory in her eyes. LingFan knew when to advance or retreat, was aware of gains and losses, never crossed boundaries to do unnecessary things, never took leave, and always diligently did their job. Su Moran's academic improvement was closely related to LingFan. Su Wen’s evaluation of LingFan was impeccable.

When Su Moran heard that LingFan wasn't planning to continue teaching her, she instantly burst into tears, causing LingFan to panic for a while, and some small drama ensued. And so, LingFan's plan to free up more time to play games was foiled.

As for Xu Yanran, her grades had improved significantly, moving from the bottom of the class to the middle-upper ranking. Xu Zhonghao would unconsciously show a big grin whenever looking at LingFan. Nothing could make a father happier than seeing his child making progress in their studies. However, Xu Yanran's mischievous ideas were becoming more and more abundant, and LingFan was almost unable to cope. Considering that there was still a long way to go before Xu Yanran would take the high school entrance exam, LingFan was quite helpless. Moreover, Xu Zhonghao was generous in offering rewards, keeping LingFan firmly tied to Xu Yanran's war chariot.

Thinking about it, LingFan couldn't help but feel a headache. However, thanks to these two families, LingFan was now able to live a relatively good life.

Unconsciously, LingFan had returned to their own territory. The room wasn't very tidy, but it was far from being dirty and messy. LingFan threw their backpack on the bed and lay down in a spread-eagle position.

"It feels like it's been a long time since I've checked my attribute panel. I should take a look," LingFan muttered to themselves and then opened their attribute panel.

"Huh?!" LingFan discovered that there was an additional plus sign next to the Charm value. After Su Moran successfully entered Moral Education Middle School, they received an attribute point, but they were unable to allocate it, not even to Intelligence or Charm.

LingFan didn't care much about it at the time. For them, their attributes were already more than enough. The high Intelligence value made academic learning a walk in the park, and the relatively high Charm did not bring about any significant changes, except that they didn't seem to be as invisible as before. Still, LingFan proceeded with their original plan, trying not to participate in public activities as much as possible.

LingFan didn't want to become a target of attention. Such activities were both exhausting and time-consuming, and LingFan really didn't want to get involved unless it was absolutely necessary. Their current plan was to live a quiet life like a salted duck egg.

Seeing that there was a plus sign on the Charm attribute, but not on Intelligence, it seemed that the extra point was meant for Charm. LingFan decided to add it to their Charm since it occasionally had some effect.

As they thought back to their tomb exploration days, their Charm value had indeed provided some assistance. With this thought in mind, LingFan added that one point to their Charm attribute. As for the previously unused skill points, LingFan had allocated them to the Teaching skill to make it level 2, since level 1 didn't seem sufficient anymore.Just after clicking, LingFan noticed that something was wrong. The charm panel of level 23 was not 70-80% bright as it was before, but rather, it had become as bright as the other attribute columns, fully illuminated.

"Huh? I feel like something is off." LingFan couldn't help but frown.

It shouldn't be a problem, since it's not supposed to be a negative attribute. Thinking about the benefits of the charm attribute in the past, LingFan breathed a sigh of relief and didn't worry about it anymore.

"I should go and sort out dinner." LingFan locked the door and went out to find food.

Tomorrow is Saturday, so LingFan thought he could go out and have a good meal today. With such thought, LingFan arrived at the food street not far from the school.

"Eh, isn't this LingFan? Are you here for dinner too?" As LingFan was thinking about which restaurant to choose, a familiar voice reached him.

Liu Siyu, the monitor of class 221, left a deep impression on LingFan. In his memory, Liu Siyu's hair was on the shorter side, but much longer than a very short bob. She had a pink butterfly hairpin on the left side of her head, and with her 158cm height, she looked like a cute short-haired girl, reminding him of his childhood sweetheart.

That's right, that's the feeling.

As for why the voice sounded familiar...

If he had to say, it was because LingFan often didn't participate in group activities, and Liu Siyu frequently sought him out for communication.

No wonder it sounded familiar. It was Monitor Liu after all. LingFan thought that it was not strange to meet classmates here since it's close to the school. He looked at the girl waving at him from a distance and thought for a moment.

"Yes, it's the weekend tomorrow, so I thought I'd treat myself tonight." He couldn't pretend he hadn't seen her; after all, he wasn't blind, so pretending to be ignorant would never work.

As soon as LingFan finished speaking, Liu Siyu had already walked up to him.

She looks cuter than before, and her hair has grown a bit longer too.

Looking at Liu Siyu in front of him, LingFan thought so.

"Today's luck is really good. It's such a coincidence to meet you here for dinner. It seems our goal is the same. How about we eat together?" Liu Siyu's face was a bit red as she invited LingFan to have dinner together.

"Well, since Monitor Liu invited me, I should accept. I'll treat you." LingFan had a good impression of Liu Siyu, even though he had skipped many class activities. Liu Siyu didn't blame him too much, so LingFan felt guilty.

To eat someone's food is to accept their kindness; it was just a small compensation.

"Really? I can eat a lot! Don't regret when your wallet cries, hehe..." Liu Siyu's eyes sparkled as soon as she heard LingFan agree.

"Ahem, it's okay, it's okay. Even if you eat me out of house and home today, I won't mind." LingFan couldn't bear her gaze even though he had thick skin.

"Don't worry, I'm not as exaggerated as you think. I know a good Western restaurant. Come on, I'll take you there." Liu Siyu then took LingFan's hand and walked in a certain direction.

... This action was quickly noticed by other classmates. LingFan wanted to shake off Liu Siyu's hand, but she held it very tightly, and it seemed he couldn't get rid of it without using force.

Fortunately, because it was Friday, both LingFan and Liu Siyu were wearing casual clothes.

LingFan thought it over and let Liu Siyu take him.
