439 End of the World 2
update icon Updated at 2026/3/1 5:00:02

439,

In the depths of the ocean, the sailors all gazed at the immensely gigantic eye.

The true face of the sea monster was right before them, with its massive eye identifying its prey.

The Cyclone was just a massive wooden ship.

So, even if it sank to the seabed, it could slowly float back up to the surface.

Coupled with the raging winds and rough seas now, the invisible forces in the ocean would quickly push the Cyclone back up to the surface in one breath.

But the moment it resurfaced, the world was no longer the same, it was truly a scene from hell.

At this moment, several sailors lost their grip and were pulled back into the depths of the ocean by a huge wave.

Among them was the helmsman.

Without the helmsman, in the tumultuous ocean, the ship would definitely capsize.

"Professor!!"

With the young man's shout, the professor struggled to climb to the helm, attempting to steer the Cyclone once more.

"The edge of the world...is right ahead!"

With all his might, the professor finally grasped the helm.

"We must not capsize!"

As the professor held the helm, countless enormous tentacles simultaneously attacked. The Cyclone, driven by this line of death, could only desperately charge forward.

Drawing on years of adventure experience, the professor had already honed exceptional skills of maneuverability.

And now was the time to apply everything he had learned.

All the skills mastered in his lifetime were merely for reaching the legendary edge of the world.

Advancing constantly, relentlessly.

Avoiding countless potential capsizing moments, the Cyclone finally saw an exit.

However, the professor also realized a dreadful truth.

This exit was a trap.

The gigantic tentacles appearing on both sides did not approach the ship's hull, but instead dragged the water flow.

The professor understood that something was definitely waiting ahead.

Yet, since the exit was right ahead, as long as they could pass through, the edge of the world would be within reach.

They couldn't afford to sit and wait for death at this moment.

"Fire!! Just a little closer! A bit more!?"

After the shouting, the professor discovered.

As the Cyclone repeatedly surpassed the impossible tentacles and enormous waves, one crew member after another disappeared from the ship.

Now there was no one left to prepare for firing the cannons, and looking back, only the professor and the young man remained.

The two silently gazed at each other, with countless words left unspoken.

"This is it."

In the end, the professor smiled.

Upon looking back at the front, everything unfolded just as anticipated, the exit was a false one.

The sea monster had arrived in front, rising to the water's surface.

Opening its monstrous mouth, it sucked the Cyclone in along the water flow.

In this moment of despair, a divine light descended.

The sea monster was struck, opening up a new path.

The professor did not miss this opportunity, steering the Cyclone, braving wind and waves, and breaking through in one fell swoop.

Unfortunately, the sea monster quickly recovered from the setback.

However, a miracle occurred.

"You are..."

The professor looked towards the sky.

A stunningly beautiful woman appeared in the sky.

At the same time, a light emerged beside the professor.

A man appeared, dressed in the armor of an ancient warrior, and together with the professor, they firmly held onto the helm.

"An ancient hero..."

Looking at the undead in front of them, intertwining centuries of beliefs, all for the sake of becoming the power in this moment.

The sea gradually froze into ice blocks, and the heavens and earth began to distort.

The beauty transformed into the Ice Queen, facing off against the sea giant in a battle of life and death.

The professor, along with the spirit of the mysterious hero, tightly gripped the helm, making one final stand on this last road.

"Hold on tight, kid!! We're going in!!!"

The professor piloted the Cyclone, breaking through between the sea giant and the Ice Queen.

The end of the world was right before their eyes, but just as the professor thought they could pass through, a huge tentacle descended from the sky, delivering a heavy blow that shattered the Cyclone.

The bow of the ship became soft, and the hull sank further into the depths of the sea.

And with a single strike of the tentacle, the professor and the youth were flung from the powerful force beyond the bow of the ship.
