"Sister, can you make an exception? Feiya wants to go in and find her brother..."

At the school gate, a short-haired girl with a red backpack was talking to someone from the student council.

"Sorry, little sister, the school prohibits outsiders from entering."

The girl responded with a smile.

"But... my brother hasn't come back all night, and Feiya is really worried. Although Mom said he's a grown-up and nothing will happen to him, Feiya still can't help but worry, so Feiya came to his school to see if he's here... Can you please help Feiya go in? Feiya won't disturb your studies."

The little girl pleaded.

"I'm afraid I can't help you with that."

The girl replied apologetically.

"Is it really impossible...?"

"I'm sorry, the school has regulations... If you really want to go in..."

"Do I need any procedures?"

"It's not exactly procedures, just need to register, but the waiting time might be long. Besides, why don't you ask your parents to come? Wouldn't that be easier?"

The girl looked puzzled.

"Mom is busy... and Feiya didn't tell her that she was coming to find her brother."

The little girl whispered.

"It might be difficult then."

The girl looked troubled.

"Even if I have to wait for a long time, it's okay. Feiya has patience..."

The little girl said earnestly.

"How about this? It's almost time for class in ten minutes. You might be late if you stay here. From your uniform, you should be from Tian Hui Primary School, right? Although it's not the top-notch, it's still a prestigious school. The discipline is quite strict, and there will be punishments for being late. Plus, if no one sees you for too long, won't they notify your parents? Is it really okay like this?"

The little girl fell into silence.

"So tell me your brother's name and class. I can help you find him. If I see him, I'll tell him that 'your sister is looking for you, so hurry home after school.' Is that okay?"

The girl came up with an idea and proposed.

The little girl hesitated.

"Don't worry, sister will definitely help you."

The girl smiled and said firmly.

"... My brother is..."

"Jie..."

"Huh?"

I accidentally got lost in listening, and Zhiye suddenly called me.

"What's wrong, Zhiye..." I turned my gaze toward Zhiye.

"It's almost time for class in a minute or two. If we linger here... Jie and I might be late."

Zhiye subtly reminded me.

"That would be bad... Sorry, Zhiye, it's my fault for getting lost in my thoughts. Let's hurry to the classroom now."

"We might not have enough time... After all, the classroom is on the third floor."

"Then... what should we do?"

"Can Jie still run?"

"No problem..."

"Then let's run quickly... and don't look back, okay?"

"Alright..."

"I'll count to three... then we start running."

Zhiye started counting, one, two, three. When three was called out, I rushed out like a bullet.

When I reached the entrance of the building, I was panting heavily. When I looked back and didn't see Zhiye, I was puzzled. Just then, the bell for class rang, and I instinctively ran upstairs. When I was halfway up, I realized that I didn't even know my own class number, so I had to give up and go downstairs.

As I walked downstairs, I thought about what the little girl didn't finish saying earlier. What's her brother's name? What's his class number? Maybe I could help find him too.

But I found it ridiculous that I didn't even know my own class number.

"Jie... why haven't you entered the classroom yet?"

On the first floor, I saw Zhiye coming towards me with a puzzled look on her face.

"I don't remember which class I'm in..."

I replied with a wry smile.

"I am really sorry, I didn't consider these aspects. It's my negligence," Zhiye suddenly looked guilty.

"Is it not Zhiye's fault? I just can't remember my class number... which class am I in?" I tried hard to search in my brain, but there was no answer.

"Jie..."

"Yeah?"

"The classroom is on the third floor, let me take you there..." I said, and Zhiye and I went upstairs together, with Zhiye in front and me behind.

"Am I Jie's fiancé?" Zhiye suddenly asked me when we were about to reach the third floor.

"Ah, of course..." I replied without hesitation.

"Will you love me and never leave me?"

"Isn't that a given?" I didn't understand why Zhiye would ask such questions, but I still responded as if I had a responsibility.

"Jie... I'm sorry..." Just as we were about to reach the last flight of stairs, Zhiye said in a soft voice, but I didn't hear it clearly.

"What did Zhiye say just now?"

"It's nothing... I love you too, Jie... Being your wife might be the happiest thing," Zhiye turned around and smiled at me, which made me blush a little. Can I make this girl in front of me happy? She seems to really have her heart set on me. I must not let her down. That's what I thought.
